Are you sure she should go? I wasn't so sure about Emma but she wouldn't go to the potty so I told her she'd have to go back to the resort with DH. I suppose you'll have enough adults that someone could leave with her if you had to.
Cool! I love the Poly. I'm sure we'll be at Pop though Emma does ask to go back to the resort with the beach (the Poly). Maybe we could meet up? I did the Segway last May during the F&GF and it was great.
I have thought of that, and am going to leave it up to her parents. They have the soundtrack, and I've also sent them links where they can watch the show online to get an idea of what it's about. If it gets bad, we have 8 adults there - any one of us could take her out without any problems. The BIL's family that isn't going have kids of similar/younger age, and that was their favorite show a couple of years ago. (Of course, their kids watch all the Animal Planet shows where the animals eat one another, and they cheer them on!

)
We enjoy the Poly a lot, too. I would wager that it probably edges out AKL for Jonathan's favorite non-DVC resort. It could be that we had what I would consider our best, most relaxing trip when we split our stay with SSR and the Poly in March 2006. I'll be interested to see how he likes the GF in a couple of weeks. We do love that Poly beach, too (and those hammocks!).
I would love to meet you guys if our days overlap.
Thanks for checking for me! im sure the dallas store is going to be even worse! I would love a nice fleece but just cant spend the 60.00 right now unfortunately....thats why the 4.00 sounded good, even though i know they arent the same quality! thanks for checking--i appreciate it!
No joy tonight at Wal-Mart, Jen. I'm wagering maybe Jerry isn't selling the rights cheap enough to warrant a $4 blanket.

So sorry!!!!!
Lindsay what a game.
Good luck on getting your projects done before your trip.
Sorry about your BIL and family I hope when they do go they are able to enjoy it.
I hope your brother really gets his life together.
I know! It was ugly, but I'm thankful we have another W. This football season is wearing me out - they're just not fun to watch this year. Way too stressful, and like a comedy of errors. We definitely didn't deserve to win (but I'll take it!).
Lindsay - DS makes a point to never be impressed by anything. I don't know if he will be impressed by being picked up from school and taken to WDW to meet up with his favorite uncles or not. I guess we'll see in 39 days!
I'm glad your nieces are excited! You all will have so much fun!
I would be forever impressed if someone surprised me with a WDW trip. I'm always available for the next one!
Oh and I got my
MVMCP tickets in the mail today.
Yippee!!
Do the kids know about this trip? Is Bob's DD excited to go?
We are back from my In-Laws. My FIL has decided not to have the surgery. He is 84 years old and has decided the pain & recovery aren't worth it. He was told he probably has 6 months to a year. It is his decision. Chuck's brother & sister are having trouble accepting this. Chuck has been preparing Katrina, Becky & I for this for at least a year. This week-end when my mom was here and asked how he was doing, Chuck told her he is preparing for his death (that was before he even had the heart attack). I'm not saying that I'm happy with the decision but I'm trying to be supportive anyways. I keep reminding myself that I don't want him to have the surgery for himself but for us. I understand him not wanting to be an invalid (55% chance of stroke with the surgery). He does have meds to take for his heart and they are watching his sugar levels because they were high yesterday. Otherwise, it is life as usual for him.
I'm so sorry, Vicki.

We went through a similar thing with my grandmother, but she was a few years older. She decided it just wasn't worth the pain and risk of surgery, and they were able to keep her fairly comfortable until the end. Hugs and prayers for your entire family.
