I have to agree with Deb on this one!

I don't like banana so I haven't tried the "Elvis" reese's.... but I imagine they are quite revolting also!

Deb, the banana peanut butter cups are good.

These I have not heard of, but that combination does not appeal to me at all. Bob loves peanut butter and banana sandwiches, so maybe he would like his favorite candy bar flavored with banana.

Artificial banana flavor is pretty vile. I got some chewable calcium samples that were banana and I about gagged on them.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. I am home, but this time it was not so painless. Who knew that the tooth he worked on today was the one that started all the trouble in the first place? Did you know that after time your canals can calcify and have to be found and then drilled out???

It still was only a one hour appointment (he is good!) but my mouth and jaw are killing me. I am eating oatmeal and it hurts. Hopefully the ibuprofen will kick in quickly because I do not relish teaching like this.

One of my top front teeth has completely calcified. The doctor said that essentially my body did it's own root canal and that there is nothing that he can to about it. Other than the discoloration he says that it is perfectly ok

Thanks, guys. The problem with the canals having calcified is that this tooth was causing an abscess with bone damage that was only discovered AFTER the first root canal was done. The root canal has to be successful or I will have to lose the tooth and that is not something I want to have happen. The odd thing is that I had no symptoms of trouble at all with this tooth. Luckily he was able to find the 3 canals and do the procedure, but it took a lot of pushing and extra drilling. I assume that is why I hurt.
