Thanks for the comments on my pictures.

Leighanna seemed so grown up trick-or-treating this year. Last year I had to tell her what to say, take her up to every door, and then prod her to go on, but this year she RAN up to the houses and yelled "Trick-or-Treat!" and went to the next.

She has tons of candy. We still have candy left from the MNSSHP last month!:rotfl:

One year the (tall skinny guy) organized a group of teachers to do Gilligan's Island. He was Gilligan he looked just like him...it was HYSTERICAL!!

More great pictures everyone.

Love the Blues Brothers. They look like the real deal!

Ok, its 10:00 pm here, time for bed. Chat with ya all tomorrow, pixiedust: and :grouphug: to all.

Last year we had APs for the first time and we NEVER got anything. No e-mails, no Mickey Monitors, nothing. I finally e-mailed them about the Mickey Monitors and they fixed that. Now that we have our 2nd set of APs I seem to be on the e-mail list.

You can go to the Passholder site and make sure your e-mail is on file, but that may or may not work. Everything that comes out for Passholders is on the site (go to disneyworld.com and click Passholders) so you might just have to check it periodically. Definitely let them know if you aren't getting the Monitor though, because sometimes there are coupons in it that can't be downloaded from the site. I think the next one is November so it should be here soon!

I wrote to the Passholder site and told them I had been an AP holder for years and never got email or MMonitors or anything. They apologized and said everything looked "right" in my profile and that I should be receiving everything. About three days later I got a hand addressed MMonitor. We will see whether or not the next one comes on its own. But, still no emails! :confused3

Deb - Nick's package for Nicholas came today. He hasn't opened it yet though. I don't know if I will let him open it now or wait awhile. What does everyone think? Open them as we get them or wait until a certain time?

Oh man, I so wish I knew if we were getting the Disney money I want for Chrsitmas presents. That price is just soo right and we'd be able to go for Terra's birthday. Darn it!

Can you book it and just pay the deposit. If you get the money that you are hoping for keep the reservation, if not cancel and get your money back?

I have been having the same issue. I have pants but need tops. Finding long sleeves is no fun:rolleyes1

Today I wore this I also had a pink sweater but didn't wear it all day

Very Cute

Happy Halloween

Deb do you by any chance make fabric coasters?

I haven't, but if you show me a picture I'm sure that I could.

Finished pumpkins...

We carved a few others, but I haven't uploaded them all yet.

Loved the pumpkins. You guys must have spent hours on them :thumbsup2

I loved all of the pictures posted today. I had quoted them all, but it was way too many to post in one post so I'm sending out a global Great Photos. Loved the kids, costumes and fun.

Theresa. Congratulations on post 10000 :thumbsup2

I worked this evening so no photos to share. My parents took the kids to the local mall then the fire station where Chris met them. He took them to some family homes then to the Restaurant to see me. Then they came home. The older 2 had homework and Chris took Colby around the neighborhood. They all said they had fun, even Daddy :thumbsup2

We still have candy left from the MNSSHP last month!:rotfl:
I've got you beat. We have a great big plastic bowl that sits on top of our fridge. It's the "candy bowl." I had to through out some chocolate eggs and 1/2 of a chocolate rabbit that was still in there from Easter, to make way for our halloween candy. And when Valentine's Day rolls around I will be purging the remaining halloween candy to make way for chocolate hearts. It's a never-ending cycle.

Very cool. I'm anxious to hear how it works out for you.
I saw it at Marshall's last week and didn't buy it but decided during that week that it would be really fun to try. The Marshall's is right next to Lizzy's piano lesson so I picked it up last night. I think it will be fun to capture the kids' reactions to some of the rides like Test Track or Emma growling at Pirates.

I got an e-mail from Disney Shopping that my pin bags have been shipped. That was fast! It took 6 weeks for them to ship DS's.
I was going to say something else but I forgot what it was.:rolleyes1
Cool. I got an email tonight that DH's bike it ready for pickup. I need to call REI to see if it is really ready-that is that it is actually assembled.

Good morning, DDA!

I haven't had time to read, but I wanted to wish you all a Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween07.jpg
COOL!!!!! Loved ALL your photos today!

Not sure where the years went...but Christopher turned 10 today! He keeps saying "I am no longer a single digit midget"

cbday.jpg
What a nice looking young man! Happy Birthday Christopher!

The AP news is getting worse. Not only is the discount a flat $50, it is only valid during the week. Friday and Saturday nights are rack rate!:scared1:

Chanon - Any idea if the AAA discount applies on Friday and Saturday nights?

I wonder if Bounce Back discounts all of the nights or just the weekdays? Crap. IF we can get in on Bounce Back it doesn't start until 8/10, so I really need DH to be off 8/8 - 8/18 so the expensive part of our trip will be during the promo. I can do Pop with DS starting either 8/1 or 8/3. If I have to pay rack rate for 8/1 and 8/2 we will stay home until 8/3! If DH gets vacation starting 8/1 I guess we will just deal with it and go 8/1.
I still don't get why you who would take a suitcase full of towels wouldn't take a twin size aero bed for DS and stay at Pop.

Jake got artist of the month for the fourth year in a row -- he was psyched! When he told me, I thought maybe it was because he has the art teacher wrapped around his finger, but I actually like it.

I hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!
That is really beautiful!!!!!!!

I got up this morning and dug into my sewing projects. I made 7 pot holders which have been in my to do pile for months.
Do we get to see photos?

OK. I think I am losing the last of my mind. Does anybody have the YOMD refillable mugs? Are the lids ALL blue, regardless of the handle color? Because I think I have been looking for lids we never had. I see we have 2 "extra" blue lids and the obvious explanation is that ALL of the lids were blue to begin with.:rolleyes1
I looked long and hard til I found one with a blue handle at Pop last May. I wanted my lid to match.;)

Well thats good! Right now I am booked with AAA & hope AP will be better. I hate paying for 2 rooms at Pop!:headache: Its a good deal for 1 room , but not for 2! I am still debating on whether to switch to ASM Suites like Bernadette or POR (which we all didn't really like, but its the only mod choice for 5)
I really LOVE Pop but I think the ASMu will work better for us because we will not do the meal plan again. I think my DH will really enjoy the family suites and I like knowing that we absolutely, positively will be in adjoining rooms. I think my kids are young enough to enjoy the "novelty" of the sleep sofas and I've read that they are pretty comfy. AND....I will really like the queen bed.

I just got a Passholder newsletter that said Value resorts for January are $49 SUN - THURS. It didn't say if weekends are rack or a discount off the higher rate. It also said if you pre-purchase your P&P tickets you save 35%. If you buy between today and 12/15 adult tickets are $30 + Tax instead of $46 + Tax. Scroll down to the bottom of the Passholder page with the discounts for the link to P&P for 2008.:)
I've got 5 nights at Pop for my trip with Joe for $275.65. That is $93 less than my AAA discount.

Oh man, I so wish I knew if we were getting the Disney money I want for Chrsitmas presents. That price is just soo right and we'd be able to go for Terra's birthday. Darn it!
Could you afford the 1 night deposit now? ($55.13) you would have til 5 days out to cancel if you had to. When is Terra's birthday?

I finally got around to baking my Pillsbury "place & bake" Halloween cookies. I am proud of myself for baking them ON Halloween instead of after!:rotfl2:
:thumbsup2

Today I wore this I also had a pink sweater but didn't wear it all day
Nice!!!

Finished pumpkins...
Awesome!!!!!

Here are pictures of Garrett & Riley & nope I did not make the costumes either lol
Cute!

Here is a picture of Mia from tonight with one of our other cats, Blue. Mia is growing so much.
Too cute! Love your kitty photos.

Cute. I'll have to upload some later this week. I'm exhausted right now.

Here are mine:
Cute! I wouldn't have recognized Nick. Nice face painting job!

I didn't get any pictures of Leighanna trick-or-treating this year, but I did get some of her in her Halloween parade at school today.
Cute! I love the one Anne Marie did.

it figures!! my 10,000th post involves the marching band!!!:rotfl2:

Well today is also Juliette Gordon Low's Birthday. She is the founder of Girl Scouting, so the we decorated the whole office and had a potluck lunch party and Birthday cake.

We were all allowed to dress in costume. Today we found out it was a costume contest among the different offices so they took pictures. I was worried all day long my skirt was going to fall off, last time I wore it I weighed almost 70 pounds more then I do now. Luckily it is elastic and my hips are now just a tad smaller then my waist was so it wouldn't go too far.;)

I discovered that binder clips work wonders for skirts that are too big. ;)

Deb - Nick's package for Nicholas came today. He hasn't opened it yet though. I don't know if I will let him open it now or wait awhile. What does everyone think? Open them as we get them or wait until a certain time?

We've had one person get and open their packages....I think whatever floats your boat. :goodvibes

We've got the same bowl. :rotfl: I just weeded through ours today.

Becky -- you got some outstanding shots last weekend!

Anne Marie and Tammi - loved the pictures of the kiddos! They are all getting so big and their costumes (and the pumpkins) were great!

Deb - Nick's package for Nicholas came today. He hasn't opened it yet though. I don't know if I will let him open it now or wait awhile. What does everyone think? Open them as we get them or wait until a certain time?

I'm glad that it arrived, I just hope that nothing broke. Maybe hold Nicholas's until Alyssa gets hers?

I looked long and hard til I found one with a blue handle at Pop last May. I wanted my lid to match.;)
This is too funny. The first day when Bob went to get our mugs he came back with 2 - one with a black handle and one with gray, so we could tell each other's apart. My reply......."couldn't you get me one with a blue handle so it matched the lid?" :rotfl2:

Before I forget...the meeting with my boss and the head of SPRC is at 10 my time tomorrow...not 8....you should have seen his face when I went in to double check the time:lmao:

Lane Bryant has an absolutely beautiful skirt that will be on sale this weekend....and I had to go down another size:cool1: I will be going on Saturday to JcPenney and back to Lane Bryant.

Tom and Theresa - loved your pictures too!
