Deb I hope your boss's wife does not suffer to long  & :wizard:

I can hardly keep my eyes open, chat with you all tomorrow!

I also am not going to do the 175+ posts tonight to get to 10,000 posts..and I didn't catch up to Elin this weekend. :sad2:

But I do have a bit longer until she gets home so I still could try!!:cool1:

I see you didn't make it... keep trying!! I might have to hunt you down if you pass me while I am catching up. And, please note... I did NOT ask for a recap!

Read 15 pages tonight but now I need to go to bed. It has been a long day, what with teaching and all the reading I seem to have found waiting for me...

Prayers for Virgina needed. I am going to have to take her to the dr again in the morning. Her feeds are a little better. my milk is in. I received a sample of formula in the mail. I tried to get her to take some but she would not take the bottle. she has not pooped at all today. pooped only 3 times yesterday. at least we have had more wet diapers today 4 of those. She still looks pretty jaundiced

prayers being said....Abi didn't poop or pee for almost 5 days....until I took her to the ped. then she peed on him:lmao: .

Poor sweet pea.

So my boss called me at MCO to discuss my schedule. His wife has cancer throughout her body and has taken a turn for the worse. She travelled to Maryland a few weeks ago to spend time with her parents and children as she knows that the end is near. Apparently her liver is now failing and they are not sure how much longer she has. He has gone to be with her and there is no telling when he will return. We are just praying for a peaceful death as she has suffered with this for years. It all started as breast cancer which they removed and thought that she had a full recovery, but it came back in her lungs then her bones. So scary. Anyway I was planning to have the boys big family part next Saturday, but now I need to work and given the circumstances I fully understand. I think I may do their party on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving as out of town relatives will be around. Now I have a month to actually plan it. For some reason I have not felt like planning it this time which is very unlike me. Maybe I had a preminision of this :confused3

I am so sorry for the family...may it be a peaceful end.

I think you may be right about your premonition.

none of you did...you all are no fun:upsidedow :snooty: :rotfl:

Elizabeth-I am so sorry that DS and school are not coming together. I think you are right it's time to have him reevaluated.

Thanks for the update on Rees....the poor kid (and all the Figs) have been through so much!!

So this morning we were supposed to go to Palo, but we had rescheduled and already had brunch there on Tuesday, because we wanted to go to Mickey's Island Jam. Well at dinner the night before with Eddie, the stage manager he suggested that we do the Art of Entertaining Behind the Scenes tour.

So we got up and grabbed some breakfast. Then we headed to the WD Theater. When we arrived our table mates Pat and Linda were there.

We started with a Question and Answer session with some of the performers. Soon our other table mates arrived. Apparently no one wanted to go to Mickey's Island Jam Breakfast.

Then they gave short visual presentations from each of the departments. Lighting, audio, costuming, props, etc

They also did a presentation on switching from one scene to another. It was quite noisy and they actually had quite a bit of piecing things together. Normally the music covers it up. When I watched Disney Dreams that night I tried to listen for the sounds of them redoing the scenes, in the background behind the music.

After the presentations for the departments, we got to "break" into the backstage area and check things out.

They had some of the costumes out for us to view, boy are they heavy. Let's just say I wouldn't want to dance in them

This was seriously my favorite tour or Behind the Scenes activity. I wanted to do it again the next week but I ended up sleeping in or doing something else. It is only for ages 18 and up. I seriously recommend it for everyone. It is amazing to see what they can produce with a tiny storage space. This tour is only on the Magic and is included in the cost of the cruise.

Night all. I have to pack tomorrow and go help rip wall paper down and move furniture at my Grandparents.

Then I am leaving at 5:30pm to go camping.

Have a fantastic weekend.

I am wanting to, I will have the boys with me this time. I don't think I can get away with going to another MNSSHP without them lol

I'm thinking of booking a trip to Universal Studios with the boys. Our APs will have expired and they've been wanting to go back to US. If we do we would stay onsite at US, but have a rental car. I would take the kids to MNSSHP so we would have a little Disney in there and probably Downtown Disney too. We could get 7 consecutive day tickets to both parks for around $90 pp which is much more reasonable than Disney. The hotel rates are too bad either as we can get 5 people into one room.

Deb I hope your boss's wife does not suffer to long  & :wizard:

I hope that she can find peace. She is only in her 50s and has been fighting this holistically rather than medically.

Have a great weekend.

:cool1: The Sox are up 2 games to 0. I guess I can go to bed now.

Night all

Good morning.

I'm enjoying all the TRs, and the pictures. Maybe I will have some time to post some today.

Deb - praying for peace for your bosses family.

Jennifer - :wizard: for Virginia.

Elizabeth - :grouphug:

And :wizard: and :grouphug: to everyone else who needs them.

Okay, give up with the dirt!!!!!! Sleeping Habit??????

Apparently it's really funny. :confused3 I have cats that sleep on my pillow above my head AND Bob has this habit of pushing all the covers off him to the foot of the bed. They then somehow get tangled in his feet, and I can never get them back to where they belong. So I scooch down. I guess I'm used to sleeping all scrunched up at the foot of the bed.

I do this too, that is why we have our own covers. Well that and John wraps the covers around himself and then rolls over, thus taking all covers away from me.
So yup on a queen size bed we have 2 top sheets and 2 blankets.

Good morning DDA. Don't have a heartattack, the phone rang and woke me up while Chris was in the shower :lmao: There is no way that I would willingly get up at 6:30 AM ;)

Chris and I have a queen bed and we have separate covers too. Chris tends to be hot and I'm always cold so separate covers is the only way to keep us both comfortable.

Ok moms and Tom. You all will probably not speak to me ever again but, I need to ask this question.

Why? to the bold in Janet's post. I have read this a lot on all boards here and just can't figure it out.

I know everyone loves their kids and wants to take them places or do things with them, but why can't you do things without them and more then once?
When Dawn and I were young, my parents went to a lot of places without us. We might get sad that they were going to be away, but we understood that kids don't always go and we didn't expect to go the next time that they went. We also didn't expect a gift(s) just because we couldn't go.

I don't think I can get away with going to another MNSSHP without them.
