Ok, so do you want to hear my funny story? Except that my head is going to explode as a result :p

These are the messages we came home to:

"You have _2_ new messages. First new message:

"Jennifer, this is ___ from Dr A's office. Good news, we found.... end of message "

"Next new message This is a continuation of the first message, sorry. So please arrive to the Christ hospital on End of message

"End of messages."

WHAT?!?! I so have left a message for them, but seriously....?

I'm obviously beaming that it seems we have at least 1 embryo. 1 or 10, who knows. It could look like crap or be perfect, I have no idea.

I'll keep you posted......

That sounds like good news to me! You have been (and will remain) in my thoughts and prayers! I hope to hear very good news soon.

The night that Alan proposed to me, I had a dream that I gave birth to twin girls. It was so real! I just knew that it would happen. Well, after 7 years of trying, countless infertility treatments, etc., I got pregnant. I knew it was my twins. When the ultrasound showed only one little girl, I was kind of disappointed. Then, 2 years later, Jacob was born. I kind of figured that the twins had just been a "figment" of my overactive imagination. Consequently, I was unprepared for the ultrasound of the twins. However, once they were born, and I was able to look at them, I KNEW they were the twins from my dream! It was one of the truly spiritual moments in my life!

I'm so praying for you! You are going to be the best mom, EVER!!!

That is a wonderful story! I'm so glad that I was reading along to see it.

Well they missed it again by thismuch:guilty: but it was better for this family that they didn't...Cassidy definitely is in the beginning throes of a cold and I think wind may be a trigger for my migraines...I just awoke from a 2 hour nap.

pixiedust: that the cold doesn't get any worse. I'm sorry that they just barely missed it, though!

He did a terrific job! And you both look wonderful!

You're very sweet, Beth. It always takes me over a year to kick the baby weight. I've sworn to myself that I won't give in to every craving if I end up pregnant again, but we'll see what happens. I wish I hated food! :rotfl:

To us, too! Please post some pictures of your kiddos when you get a chance! :)

Well, since you asked...

There weren't a lot of photo opportunities at today's meet, but I did get these. My kids are the ones in orange and black.

Matthew is the long-haired one in back:

Laura is also in the back in this one:

They both had good races today. Matthew had to get up early to take the PSAT's at 6:45 before coming out to the meet. They let the runners start the test early. I guess it was ok, because they weren't out before the others came into start.

Tom, glad that you have come out of lurkdom. :)
Except for Chris (and it seems he is never on) you are they only guy that post with us.

There used to be a few (Paul and Kevin) who used to post what seems like long ago.

Mac used to post too.

I miss Paul's song of the day.

Kevin hardly ever gets on the Dis at all anymore (or so he says ;) )

The foliage is gorgeous here right now! I thought that we were supposed to have a dull fall. These pictures really don't do it justice.

That is a wish I make almost every day of my life. You do look tremendous, though! Your hard work has definitely paid off!

What a long day for Matthew!

Now, your pictures are interesting! My students used to take the same pose over and over...a vertical pictures of one runner on a path. Your pictures show the competition and beautiful foliage. A+ photography Beth! :thumbsup2

Hey Lizbeth!! Your naner is almost whole!! He's just missing the sole of his shoes.

Better to have no soles than no soul!:rotfl2:

Have fun Theresa.
I heard the music from Aladdin tonight at the Chinese restaurant.("A whole new world"-of course it was an instrumental piece performed by some sort of Chinese stringed twangy instrument;) )

I thought the same thing about having to see it again!

Tom, that music description made me laugh!:rotfl: Love the new siggie pic!

The only REALLY vivid baby dream I ever had never came true.
I had a baby, and the baby had a nanny. An older lady. The baby had a nursery that was all done in yellow and white. I went in and got the baby out of the crib, even though the nanny was trying to put the baby down for a nap. I don't know if it was a boy or a girl. In the dream I knew the nanny was mad, but it was MY baby. And this dream was years before I became a nanny! I walked with the baby out into a courtyard - it was a HUGE house, and the courtyard was in the middle. The flooring was red tile of some sort, and the tile was wet like it had just been hosed down. Funny how I can still remember the exact details of that dream. I was taking the baby to see my DH, who I think was some sort of Columbian drug lord.:scared: Anyway, nothing even remotely close to that ever happened.:confused3 Unless it happened in a previous life and the dream was more like a memory.:rolleyes1

I'm so jealous! We are having a dull fall.

And, it's supposed to hit 80 tomorrow.

Mother Nature has lost her mind! :rotfl:

It was a long day. His race wasn't until 12:15, but he had to be there straight from the PSAT's. He said that the test didn't seem too hard. The vocab was a little tougher than what they had practiced, but the reading comp was much easier. He said that we probably won't see the results until December! I'm not that patient. :rotfl:

Thanks for the compliments. I have a ton of other pictures, but Photobucket is running extremely slowly for me tonight.
