Sorry they didn't win! But it sounds like you could all use a break!

Hi, Glynis! I saw the "leg lamp" at Kohl's today. It TALKS!:rotfl2: The leg is in the shipping crate and when you open the crate it says lines from the movie!:lmao: You definitely should get one for Alan!

Tom - I hope SOMEONE gets to quit when your dress making venture takes off!:rotfl: We went to Luby's for dinner after we returned the vile pie. I wanted a birthday cake from Sam's but they didn't have the kind I wanted. (It's nobody's birthday, I just like cake.)Jennifer - If Chanon calls again you should let it go to voice mail.;)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I wrote out a response to another thread of marching band parents & students I think I will post it for you all:

Well competition season is over...the sad thing is we didn't make it into State again this year...always the bridesmaid never the bride.

Good news...the kids earned Most Improved Band!!!

I am wondering what changes will happen for next season as the drill instructor and director were a bit disappointed. Well so were the kids.

We had a guard member go down and one of the parents had to run half way up the stadium to FIND the guard coach....her response to the line judge's request she come down?? "if she goes you go and get her off the field"

Her husband who is the drill instructor had a rude comment to a parent in the lunch line....I understand you are upset but the parents worked dang hard too and are upset too!!

Let's just say I lost some respect for these people today.

They had to cart the color guard member off the field after the performance. :sad2:

So my head feels a bit better and I only need 240 posts to make 10,000...should I go on a bigger posting spree???:confused3 ;) :lmao:

Jen-

you will be in my prayers Monday (and tomorrow for that matter) for a succesful start to growth of your family.

Hey Lizbeth!! Your naner is almost whole!! He's just missing the sole of his shoes.

So ends my 3P

My head has started pounding again....we are doing church differently in the morning...we should be back early afternoon and I can finish my less than 240 posts. :lmao:

(church tomorrow is: meet up at the church at 8:30 and disperse through the community to work....we will be working at a foster home doing yard and other work. Then back to the church for a community lunch...that we will not be eating it's bbq and my stomach can't handle most bbq. Then there will be one worship service. All of this is part of a wonderful direction our church is going:love: )

Beth, your comment about cross country pictures had me chuckling.

It was always so hard to make the cross country page in the yearbook interesting! Every picture looked the same! :rotfl:

:rotfl: Well, the ones with MY kids are interesting...

to me! :rotfl:

Because we're dorks...

We were too lazy to ask anyone to take our pictures last weekend at the zoo. Kevin's Photoshop skills really come in handy! :rotfl:

He did a terrific job! And you both look wonderful!

Well, it's one thing to use Photoshop to blot out a mosquito or a runny nose, but Kevin goes overboard sometimes, goofing around with people's (I mean our children's) expressions. :rotfl:

I need to come take Photoshop lessons from Kevin. :rotfl:

This was last year at the zoo. They're growing up too fast!!

Yes! They have a tendency to do that much, much too fast! Don't blink, or you might find yourself with a 16 year old, a 14 year old, and an 8 year old. (And you only have two so far! ;) )

so we decided to watch a movie we haven't watched in awhile...so we picked Alladin.

I am seriously leaving this time!!

Have fun Theresa.
I heard the music from Aladdin tonight at the Chinese restaurant.("A whole new world"-of course it was an instrumental piece performed by some sort of Chinese stringed twangy instrument;) )

I thought the same thing about having to see it again!
