DS is going to drive me to drink. He had a math test today - he got an 82. He bombed on his homework, but that can be done over for a grade of 70. He doesn't want us to check his homework but I am thinking that might become mandatory. It would be easier for him to correct it BEFORE he turns it in the first time, and it would boost his homework grade. So he had a good day in math BUT the bonehead didn't bother to do his Social Studies homework so he got a ZERO! The teacher assigned it on Tuesday, it was due today. So he didn't do it! He "forgot". He has a PLANNER that he should be writing his assignments in, and he should be checking them off as he completes them. But NO. He doesn't write down the assignments, doesn't do them, gets a zero, and then acts like it isn't a problem! They had a sub yesterday, which is why the teacher gave it to them on Tuesday. So his "defense" is that the sub didn't remind them to do the assignment. He has an "F" in that class right now and the marking period is halfway over! She keeps giving him extra chances and he keeps wasting them! He so does NOT deserve to go to WDW in Dec.

We are having sausage parm sandwiches and pierogies.

I haven't decided yet. Mom is going out tonight so I'm tempted to order pizza or something and sit down to pray the Red Sox to a victory tonight. I could survive not making it to the World Series, but I just really want them to make it a little closer than 1 game to 4. Oh wait, I'm having pizza tomorrow night at a trivia night. Hmmm...of course you can never have pizza too often in my book.

I am just happy that the sports coverage is not all Broncos all the time...all of the news stations started in June or July with Bronco coverage ...even when the Rockies were doing great!!! The fans aren't fair weather here...the newscasters are!!

My aunt just called, my cousin had her football player, er, baby at 10:09am this morning. The baby weighed in at 10lbs, 10oz. No C-Section!

I am sorry you are having such a rough time with school work and DS. Have you been able to set up a time to have a session with his teachers going over his need for adaptations???

I don't look in the girls assignment books but I don't have to...Abi's is mandatory...Cassidy's isn't but I am seeing better homework turn in versus last year with her.

It may be time to make looking at the assignment book part of dinner time...that way if he's missed some homework he still has time to complete it AFTER supper and maybe, just maybe, he will start doing more on his own without prodding.

Well the weather has gotten really bad here, we had a tornado touch down not to far from here, I'm not sure if anyone was hurt but will find out when the news comes on.

I think I'll make meatballs and mashed potatos for dinner, not sure about the other vegetable yet though.

I saw that round of storms on the news this morning...please be careful.

Is that meatballs in a marinara sauce or like a brown gravy??

it went fine. B/p is great. She did not do an exam today. She said she will check me next week. Got some cute pictures at the pumpkin patch will post them tomorrow.

But if he doesn't bother to write things down then we won't know that he missed doing something. He just can't seem to manage everything. If he does well in one class he crashes and burns in another. And then he acts like "A zero. Hmm. Oh, well."

I just went to get my bosses' dry cleaning because I forgot when we were out earlier. They can't find it. I am telling you, if I had gone to WDW the plane would have crashed. This week just won't go away! Hopefully my bosses will be able to remember what all was in that order so they can be reimbursed if it doesn't show up.

I thought 11x14 was a standard print size...apparently not the places I have been looking! Now I have to decide to downsize to the 8x10 or up it to 16x20. Either way my aspect ratio is off. Oh well, I can't fix that today. I'll worry about it another day.

I don't know much about the aspect ratio or anything of that nature but where were you ordering from? Shutterfly.com I believe has 11 x 14.
