Hmm. Sorry for slacking off there, your highness!:rotfl2:

I got 11 pins in today. 4 Tinkerbell, 7 Stitch. The Tinks are the ones from the starter lanyard, 2 each of 2 designs. Not very exciting.

One of the Stitch pins is from 2002, and it is pretty nice. DH snagged it to be a keeper.

I love the rotisserie chicken from Sam's and Costco...so much meat...I figured they were super chickens when alive!!:rotfl2:

They are quite a bit "plumper" than the ones from the grocery.

I have decided DS needs to do that homework assignment and turn it in for no credit. Just because he already got a zero shouldn't mean he gets out of doing the work.

So Gray's is on in a little bit.

I watched "Women's Murder Club" last week. It wasn't as good as I wanted it to be, but it was OK.
I watched "Samantha Who" this week and it was better than I expected it to be. I wasn't planning to watch it, but it came on and I got drawn in.

Dadboss was asking me about DH's vacation bid. Since they are going to France and I am going to Disney they have to work out how to get Princess to her grandparents and get themselves to France. They need to know when I am leaving in case I leave before they do. But I have no clue when I am leaving because DH's vacation bid brings everything to a screeching halt. There are at least 3 different "If this, then that" scenarios.

I asked DH if he thinks they will bid the Monday after Thanksgiving and he got all snarky. He said that is the last thing the supervisors have on their minds and blah blah blah. OK, well, maybe they should stop and consider how much worse it will be if people start quitting due to low morale! If we were trying to go somewhere in January I would be having a coronary. DH likes to tell me that none of the other drivers really care when they get vacation, but I find that hard to believe. If none of them care then WHY is the bid such a HUGE deal?

i think i'm gonna start posting a reply to each indevidual post from now on just to get my post count up lol

you know we used to come on and have several pages to read that was just chit chat. so this is really nothing new. We are just deciding to do this since we can't be at disney with every one else.

oh Jennifer I understand that. The way I see it, I'll fill pages and pages of whatever and raise my post count at the same time.

I just realized , that while causing Heidi's headache... I forgot something.
Glynis welcome home. I'm glad you had such a good time on your trip. I'm just sorry that you and Alan came back to such news.:grouphug: :wizard: to you and the rest of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

my last post was in no way , a way to fill the page with blah or to raise my post count. BUT this one is :D

so we have about 40 minutes 'till we have to leave for the airport. The kids have been asking for the last 4 hours if it's time to go get Aunt Margie yet.

I normally come back from our weekend's at Nana's with about 50 or so pages to catch up on anyway, what's a few more lol

would you want an ornament with the year on it or not. trying to decide between 2 different ornaments for the person I got to exchange with.

this one

or this one

I like ornaments with dates but I like the first one better-like the design and Mickey better.

Katie is Sacajawea. She has to choose a person from American history to research and dress up as for a "wax museum" held on Halloween at the school. Should be interesting. She originally wanted to be Louisa May Alcott, but I really didn't feel like making a dress with a hoop skirt, and she already has stuff she can use for the Sacajawea costume. She's loving the research that she has found, and I think it will be really neat.

The entire 5th grade does this, and the rest of the school (and parents) attend the museum. The kids have to sit on chairs, and when people ask them who they are, they have to speak as if they are that person. It's really a neat thing! I'll take pictures.
Not as Halloween but Lizzy will be doing both a wax museum and living history museum this year. I'll have to keep Sacajawea in mind!:thumbsup2

We're on the Magical Express!!! Beach Club here we come.:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Our plane was early. We might just get to the MK a little pat rope drop. :dance3:

No time to read, just wanted you all to know we're here!!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
How cool!!!

So Bernadette,

I kind of dawned on me this morning how close we are to our trips. I made some changes to my ADR's this morning to accommodate the Christmas party on the 15th. I wasn't planning on attending a party but I REALLY want to see the castle with the lights. Unfortunately I lost our dinner at Le Cellier, it is now a lunch and I'll check when we get there to see if a dinner opens up.

I have AK planned for the morning of the 12th, with dinner a WC at 5:00 pm that evening, after dinner we are pretty much free. Does this fit into the color coded matrix of fun to meet up that day?

I also placed my order from Garden Grocer, I gotta have my Dr. Pepper!

PS - Loved the pictures of Emma with Tigger!
The 12th is our last full day. I know we plan on doing Osborne Lights so we'll be at MGM that night. I don't know if we'll do the entire day there. I think I need to think about the color coded matrix of fun some more. I only have a few ADR's planned right now. I know I want to see Spectro & Wished our first night (Thursday the 8th) as I think it will be our best chance. I'm a bit too tired to look at it right now.

I may place an order, as John and Dawn would love to have their Pepsi. But should I order from Garden Grocer or minimus.biz? Minimus has free shipping on orders over $20
Heidi-minimus doesn't have soda. I've used both minimus and garden grocer and they were both good but have different things.

okey dokey here we go:

PRAY PLEASE!!!!! We may have good news. I teach pre-school, and one of my mom's from last year just called. Her DH is an attorney and represents Emory and their Drs! He knows them all very well and the head of Patient Advocates and Risk Management. He put in one call and has been sending them all my email updates. The pt advocate called the Emory GI head doctor, and he is getting us in ASAP and is calling me personally on my cell later. She said if he doesn't get us in fast enough to call back and she'll make sure it happens.

SO PRAY THAT THIS HAPPENS! I have hope. I have butterflies in my stomach. I'm actually smiling! Praise God and thanks to HIM for such good friends!

This sounds so positive and it's the happiest Denise has sounded in a long time!!
:woohoo: Great news! Thanks for sharing!

My aunt just called, my cousin had her football player, er, baby at 10:09am this morning. The baby weighed in at 10lbs, 10oz. :scared1: :scared1: No C-Section!
Congrats to your cousin!

One of the most embarrassing photos of me!

I should delete it before the other get back!

Would that be mean?:rotfl:

O.k. Everybody pull yourself off of the floor from laughing so hard!
LOVE that! You must have had such a great time!!!!

Hey, everybody, I thought I'd pass along a little information. I've been in contact with Kate, and she's doing pretty well. She's training for the WDW half marathon, but her knee is still giving her grief. She's working with a PT, and now she's developed some issues with her ankle as well.

Her father had to undergo some emergency surgery this week for a bowel obstruction, but he seems to be doing much better. I'm sure she could use your prayers, though.
Thanks for the update! Prayers for Kate and her family.

Hello, everyone! I promised myself that I would come home from preschool this afternoon and clean. Guess what...I didn't do so well. I had an idea that I wanted to play around with a little in Photoshop, and time really slipped right away.

I am going to do one of these for each park. They are 11x14, so they will take up one of my living room walls when printed and framed. I'm calling it my Christmas present to myself, but I don't know whether I'll get them all done by Christmas. I haven't really done much with our trip photos yet, and the trip was almost 14 months ago!

My parents are coming here in a little over a week, so I better not let myself do any more before I get the house cleaned up!

Beth
SO, SO, SO cool!!!!! I've got to figure out photoshop. The apple store has a deal-something like $99 for 1 weekly hour of instruction on anything for a year. It is about a mile from my office. I think I should just do that. I keep telling myself I should try the online tutorials first though.

DS is going to drive me to drink.:headache: He had a math test today - he got an 82. :cool1: He bombed on his homework, but that can be done over for a grade of 70. He doesn't want us to check his homework but I am thinking that might become mandatory. It would be easier for him to correct it BEFORE he turns it in the first time, and it would boost his homework grade. So he had a good day in math BUT the bonehead didn't bother to do his Social Studies homework so he got a ZERO! The teacher assigned it on Tuesday, it was due today. So he didn't do it! He "forgot". He has a PLANNER that he should be writing his assignments in, and he should be checking them off as he completes them. But NO. He doesn't write down the assignments, doesn't do them, gets a zero, and then acts like it isn't a problem! They had a sub yesterday, which is why the teacher gave it to them on Tuesday. So his "defense" is that the sub didn't remind them to do the assignment. He has an "F" in that class right now and the marking period is halfway over! She keeps giving him extra chances and he keeps wasting them! :headache: He so does NOT deserve to go to WDW in Dec.:sad2:
:sad2: :scared1: How many more years of this do I have.:sad2: Joe has been giving us such a hard time about doing homework. He could do it in about 3 minutes if he just did it.

:wizard: Hope you find a way to get through to your DS.

Well the weather has gotten really bad here, we had a tornado touch down not to far from here, I'm not sure if anyone was hurt but will find out when the news comes on.

I think I'll make meatballs and mashed potatos for dinner, not sure about the other vegetable yet though.
:wizard: Stay safe!
