Glynis to you and to Alan's family. Yes it is very hard to go to a childs funeral. I have went to a few of my patients funerals for their babies and a friend that lost her baby. It is very hard to get over seeing the tiny caskets but it eventually does get easier.

Just wanted to pop in for a minute and wish everyone leaving safe travels. I just can't imagine any of you are going to have a good time

We have McDonald's night for Emma's school and then we need to hunt down pieces for her costume.

Glynis, that is HORRIBLE! I hope the family can find some peace. DH's cousin had a child drown in the swimming pool, but that was before I met DH. So sad.

Princess has had an interesting (in a bad way) afternoon. I have never seen this in a child before, only in a cat. She was so constipated it was making her vomit, and the vomit wasn't just coming out her mouth - it was shooting out her NOSE! I called her Dr. and they STILL haven't called me back. I called Momboss, who said to give Princess prune juice. I did, and she barfed it all over the rug. Good thing Momboss wants to have the rugs cleaned! We just talked about that the other day. Finally after 3 shirts and 2 towels and lots and lots of ICK she managed to do her "business" and now she seems fine.

Glynis- I am so jealous!! I love Syd Liebermann!! I also wonder if the children's librarian from when I was growing up is still a story teller. She was absolutely the best one in CO. We had an optional story telling day my senior year in High School...I didn't move from my seat all day. That was the day she announced she wouldn't be the children's librarian anymore.

Poor Kamberlie's family. I have only been to one infant funeral and it was the hardest funeral ever. Please know they will be in my prayers.

I am packed & ready to go....now I have to sit & wait. Thankfully the kids have no activities tonight so we can just hang out. We are always running around.

I am going to try to get in an early night. I have to be up at 4:45am.

Poor princess!!

I had a kid under my watch who was so afraid of doing his "business" we (I mean I..mom was clueless) had to reteach him how to potty. The poor kid was constipated like that all the time because he kept "it" in.

She has at least one poopy diaper every day, so I was really surprised!

One of my friends used to work with a little boy who would NOT poopy in the potty, and he ended up losing the feeling in the nerves so he would have accidents all the time. And his parents wouldn't pick a way to deal with it, so it went from spanking to rewards to everything in between. The Dr. told them after awhile the little guy couldn't control it, but the parents were convinced it was on purpose.

I just got a call from Chanon. Her and Janet were headed to downtown Disney, they were checking to see if I was in Labor. I told her no just the occasional contractions. She said you know its going to happen this weekend while half of us are gone.
