Have fun. Are you feeling better? I know that you've been struggling with the sickies the last week or more.

I'm feeling much better and I certainly hope that it continues. I actually felt like doing things yesterday which is a feeling I haven't had in a long time.

The boys have bowling in a few minutes then I'm off to an 80th (or is it 90th) birthday party of a great aunt that I haven't seen in years. My mother asked me to go so I scheduled off for tonight. Gotta keep mom happy as she will have the boys while we are away. I hope to be home by dinner time then I need to pick up groceries as I don't know when I'll get another chance.

I'll try to pop in as time allows.

HAVE A MAGICAL DAY!!!

Good morning, DDA!

Janet - Feel better soon!

Jennifer - Cool pics! 3 cm sounds promising! I think she'll be here in the next several days!

Jen - Have fun at the concert!

Anne Marie - Yay for a paycheck!

Good Morning DDA

I will be ironing my transfers on my shirts today. Otherwise all of my packing is done except for things I need the night before. Today is the birthday celebration for Caydn and Noah since they are 3 years and 10 days apart in age, we will celebrate the birthdays together for now while they are still young. Will do final grocery shopping tomorrow to make sure Hal has things to eat while I am gone.

It is sunny outside and some frost on my car windshield

I am getting so excited

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

Janet - Feel better soon!

Jen - Have fun at the concert! :yay:

Anne Marie - Yay for a paycheck! :)

and before I go "play" with Kristin...

Okay so I didn't make it back on yesterday. We ended up running errands all day and then went to Kristi's for the evening. Terra and Kassie hadn't seen each other in several weeks between school and travelling, plus Kristi needed help getting stuff ready for a garage sale. So we hung out there and then took the kids out for ice cream.

Tammi - Congrats to Nicolas on winning the game the other day!! Best of luck to them today. :wizard:

Karen - I pray every day that you will find a good attendant very soon. Loads of :wizard:

Jennifer - I'm so sorry to hear that the news wasn't better for your grandmother. She will continue to be in our prayers. :grouphug: :wizard:

Theresa - Congrats the Cassidy on the performance this week. Sorry that next weekend has so many booked days now, though.

Deb - I hope that you are feeling better! If someone hasn't already suggested it eat a yogurt a day or get some Acidophilus pills. You can find them in the vitaming/supplements aisle. It helps combat yeast infections. I have been advised to always take Acidophilus if I'm also on antibiotics.

Chanon - Congrats on the house!!! That is so exciting!

Jennifer - I hope the news on Tuesday is good! You and Kyle are continually in our prayers.

Elizabeth - Total do-over trip for your friend! How terrible that no one even stopped to check on her. I can't even imagine leaving her alone. You would think that someone would have at least talked to a CM in City Hall and had someone check on her even if they didn't do it themselves.

Heather - Hope RJ had a great party!! Terra had a Pirates party too, though her's was a combination of POTC, regular pirates and pirate Mickey. Didn't really match, but hey, she picked it all. ;)

Hi all! Busy day today, but I'm just popping in to say that yesterday's appointment was at least an improvement, and the cycle is past this particular obstacle! A lady I know just had her retrieval canceled, though, at the very last minute... which has me a little freaked out. I continue with injections and go in on Monday morning with plans to schedule my retrieval and transfer! Please keep us in your prayers... we are bouncing back and forth between dread and optimism!

Aidan Update

October 11, 2007 at 10:27 PM CDT
Let's make this short and sweet, as I'm tired and ready for bed. Naomi and I got back safely for a wonderfull trip out west. We got to do many things togethor and enjoy the beautifull weather out there. We spent a few day's in San Francisco and I got to fullfill a life long desire of mine. I got to see the Blue Angel's fly!

However it was more then that, I got to see them twice. Once as we were coming into the City we stopped on the edge of the Golden Gate Bridge and watched from there. They were awe inspiring, but nothing like what we would experience the next day. We watched from the center point of their show. We were on Alcatraz Island watching these planes fly by so closely at times that I think we could have seen the pilot's smile.

This was also intensified when Naomi and I were allowed to climb to the top of the working lighthouse and watch some of the show from there. This is not a thing anyone get's to do and I guess it just doesn't hurt to ask some times, or have a cute wife. Male Park Ranger took us up.

Aidan, well he was flying on his own while we were gone. Upon our return we found out that he is now up to two six hour shifts per day without his vent. This means for half the day he is breathing on his own and they think late next week, he may be off completely. This in and of it self is a prayer that has been answered clearly. We now pray that as we enter this time of year in which sickness can run rampent that he stay free and clear and can actually come home soon. Talk is one more month. They chose to keep him a little longer in order to fully remove him from the vent.

Well I guess that sums it up pretty well. Our last week has been exciting on many fronts and now we move forward hoping to hear from Medical, the State and the Staff more good news from each.

Okay caught up. I am going to take a shower and watch the UT football game, before I go to work at 3pm.

Tomorrow on the Travel Channel.

Aniaml Kindgom - 9:00 am EST

Walt Disney Resort: Behind The Scenes - 10:00 am EST

okay work is slow right now so I was just checking in. I guess everyone is out enjoying the beautiful fall day. we are overstaffed at 7pm so I will be going home early tonight.

Hey everyone!

I'm frantically trying to get ready for the trip. It's finally dawned on me that I only have the rest of today and tomorrow to get ready, because I work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday! I'm printing out the transfers as I type this. My shirts are in the wash, again, because I used fabric softener the first time. Do they have to be line dryed before ironing or can they go in the dryer? Went to the mall today and picked up some travel size bathroom items from Bath and Body Works. Bob got some new shorts/shirts on sale at Penney's. Now we're cooking dinner. The kids are with their dad. Nicholas' team lost their game this morning. 4 to 1. He was a bit disappointed but I was ready for soccer to be over.
