Denise-I am so sorry that Rees is in so much pain. The poor kid...I think you are right he would enjoy school even if just for a little time.

Denise - I am glad you guys enjoyed the movie! I hope the GI specialist can get Rees in QUICKLY so they can work on a diagnosis! DH has ulcerative colitis and he HATES to go for scopes and things, but if it gives you some answers it is worth it.

Anne Marie - I'm glad the job is going well! I always have a jacket at WDW, even in August. At home I keep a jacket in the car year round. I am a big wimp about cold!

Janet - I don't think a dryer sheet is as bad as liquid softener.

Jen & Jennifer - I hope your grandparents' procedures went well today!

Tammi - Safe travels for the trip home!

DH was finished by 1 PM today. Not too shabby! Of course he is only on that route tomorrow and then he moves to another one.

I should be hearing from DS in about 20 minutes. He went to the orthodontist on Thursday, but he got his homework from his last class that morning. He did it Thursday night but he didn't remember to turn it in on Friday. I don't know if he will get credit for it or not. I think I should probably schedule an appt. with the diagnostician before the year ends and our deductible starts over again. The increased dosage of Focalin is helping somewhat, but I am not sure the results are really as good as they could be. I wonder what other options we have for keeping him on task?

Sounds like a bushel of is needed all the way around - whether it be for your own sickness, or that of a loved one!

I've read everything since I last posted (Thursday, I think it was), but my brain is a bit fried as of now. I know I did see lots of great pics, some and congratulations to get out there, some get wells, some happy b-days, etc. I hope everyone had great weekends, and get well soon.

October DDA'ers - my countdown is beginning to scare me a little! I feel so unprepared, I think my main unease is that I don't personally have any ADR's I need to double-check. Such a weird feeling - like those dreams where you walk out of your house without your pants on or something!

I'm happy to say that life has hopefully slowed down for a bit now. I made it through last week, and the next few shouldn't be too painful - although I need to run now so I'm not here late tonight. Chat with you later!

I washed my black tank top for the Halloween party with some of the boys clothes. I just realized I threw it in the dryer which has dyer sheets in it The tank is already dry, so what does this do to the design if I try to iron one on?

For some reason the Tink design was not printing right, so I am going to try the design Anne Marie posted. If that doesn't work then I guess I will just be dressed in plain black. I might have to anyway after drying my top

I had an old shirt of Daniels that I put a design on (I accidentally printed 2) The shirt had been dried with a dryer sheet previously. The design went on well but after one wash it got all cracked. So if you only plan on wearing it one night or around the house you can do the iron on...or you could rewash the shirt & start all over again.

That's Great. Is Viola a leading role. I'm Theater illiterate, please fill me in.

I'm getting ready for work. I'll run the boys to my parents as soon as they get off the bus.

Yes, Viola is THE leading female role! She will have so much fun!!! Viola is shipwrecked and has to dress as a boy to be able to travel safely in a strange land. She gets hired as a "page" to Count Orsino, hired to take love letters to Olivia. However, Viola falls in love with Orsino, Olivia falls in love with the "page", and it's comic genius!!!! Viola is really a plum role for a woman.

Rees slept well last night. I took them to see Game Plan today at the movie. His stomach was hard and distended during the movie, so we skipped buying snacks. He made it home just in time. BTW, the movie was WONDERFUL!!! The kids and I really enjoyed it (they are off today for Columbus Day).

Talked to the our Pediatrician, and he is calling GI to set up the next steps. We are going to send Rees to school, and if I need to go with him, I will. But he will be happier even if he only stays for a few hours at a time. I'm also waiting to hear from the ENT as Rees is having horrendous nose bleeds again (had one Friday at the Peds) and needs to have his nose cauterized for the FOURTH time. Waiting for a surgery date.

Poor little guy! Hopefully the GI will have some ideas to make things better for Rees! I'm so sorry about the nose bleeds. Katie gets them occasionally, but not to that degree. It can get scary!

By the way, it's really nice to see you posting again! We've missed you!!!

So my grandmother was admitted to the hospital this afternoon. Her defibrillator
shocked her several times this morning while she was at church. The bad thing about it is the top part of her heart is what was "Acting up" the defibrillator is only supposed to shock her if it is the bottom half of her heart "Acting up". They will readjust it some time tomorrow. They have done this twice already in the past month.

So my dad just called and they said it doesnt look like anything cardiac with my grandpa's heart...so they are now doing tests to see if its related to the cancer,chemo, or wahtever else....

Hi, all. I'm a wreck. Rees seemed better this morning, but had a really bad afternoon/night. John and I were both in tears. So I'm calling the doctor in the am. Thanks for the prayers. They are truly needed at the moment.

Work was really busy tonight. Lots of leaf peepers around and they aren't too thrilled with the lackluster colors this year. My back was hurting by the end of the night, but it seems better now. I am scheduled to work 6 of the next 7 nights. 3 waitress and 3 hostess. At least it is an every other day situation so my back will have a break on hostess nights. Another couple of weeks and business will drop off until the holiday parties. Then we'll all be begging for shifts.

I just found out from Gail that some nutcase in the neighborhood apparently drove his truck through his house and also over his wife. She is in critical condition. And then someone in the house walked out, I'm guessing through the hole in the house and fell and hurt themselves. They didn't realize the steps were no longer there. I hope they caught him, as this isn't the first time he has done something like this.

How tragic! That poor woman!

PHIL COMES HOME TONIGHT!!!! He's now been gone for 3 weeks and 3 days. Terra is so excited even though she knows that he gets home so late that they can't play until after work tomorrow. She'll take what she can get though if it means playing with Daddy. That reminds me, I forgot to buy chocolate chips yesterday so that I could make him cookies. Guess we're running to the store later.

Is anyone bringing a jacket or long pants? October 2005 was hot but I was thinking of bringing a sweatshirt just in case.

I went to MIL's yesterday and saw the AG stuff. WOW it really is beautiful. Someone will be very happy Christmas morning!

So the kids are pretty much done-just a few stocking stuffers but I still need to figure out what to do for MIL, SIL, SIL/BIL in St Louis and DH's niece/DH in MN. Hey that's all his family shouldn't he have to do that?





I made both Lizzy a countdown with clipart and Joe a countdown chain. I still need to make more ADR's for Joe's trip. I may actually make a reservation for the airport the night before again. If I do just a room without car parking it would be under $100. If we stay at home we'll ahve to take the 6:15am boat so that would be leaving the house at like 5:15 as my friend said she'd drive us to the boat and then pick us up at the airport. I'm kicking myself for not going to Disney on Saturday. Staying at the airport would get us closer and Joe could do room service. He was asking me if we could do it at Pop. He saw it on some TV show.
