Anne Marie - The AP rates might not be as bad as they looked at first. Some people are reporting getting a discount on weekends but the discount is off of the higher weekend price (values & mods). The AP website was showing the higher rate on weekends, but I guess CRO is quoting discounts for all nights and the e-mailed confirmations are showing the discount for all nights. Weird. But I am not going to hold my breath for an AP rate. We'll book with AAA discount as soon as we have definite dates. Hopefuly we'll be able to use Bounce Back.

I just found out that there is an American Indian Pow-Wow at our Fairgrounds this weekend. Perfect timing for Nicholas' Indian project that he has to do. I think we'll go and take a bunch of pictures. Maybe he will want to do a photo poster instead of making a dream catcher.

You will really enjoy it. Just be sure to ask before taking pictures, cause some do not want their picture taken. When they are in the circle, the announcer will advise when you can and cannot take pictures. Usually the opening ceremony takes place at noon. For that part, no pictures, but you will be amazed at the regalia some have. After that the dances begin. Hope they have some Fry Bread. Yum Yum

Jake got artist of the month for the fourth year in a row -- he was psyched! When he told me, I thought maybe it was because he has the art teacher wrapped around his finger, but I actually like it.

Well thats good! Right now I am booked with AAA & hope AP will be better. I hate paying for 2 rooms at Pop! Its a good deal for 1 room , but not for 2! I am still debating on whether to switch to ASM Suites like Bernadette or POR (which we all didn't really like, but its the only mod choice for 5)

OK. I think I am losing the last of my mind. Does anybody have the YOMD refillable mugs? Are the lids ALL blue, regardless of the handle color? Because I think I have been looking for lids we never had. I see we have 2 "extra" blue lids and the obvious explanation is that ALL of the lids were blue to begin with.

The lids are all blue, even for the mugs with the silver handle.

Yes. We just got 2 when we were there. Handle on mug #1 was black, handle on #2 was gray, but both lids were blue!

THANK YOU! Now I can stop searching under the fridge with a flashlight for a black and gray lids we never had! All 3 of us were thinking the lids matched the handles. Now I can get on with my life!

It also said if you pre-purchase your P&P tickets you save 35%. If you buy between today and 12/15 adult tickets are $30 + Tax instead of $46 + Tax. Scroll down to the bottom of the Passholder page with the discounts for the link to P&P for 2008.

Alrighty, I had better go finish getting ready for tonight. My day was thrown off when I had to go get Kaylin from Kristi. Erin had to work for a couple of hours and Kristi had to take Connor to the doctor after he hurt his foot. Luckily, nothing is broken and he is doing better.

Good news is I found a new wireless card on sale and had an almost 2yr old merchandise credit that paid for part of it. Plus, our new Office 2007 came today. So, by tomorrow we should have a fully functional, happy new computer. Now if I can only get up there to use it sometime.

We got an invite to Brother & Sister's birthday party today. I just e-mailed ExMomboss to tell her we will be there. Brother usually has a party closer to his b-day (8/18) but that never happened so they are having a dual party. Should be interesting. I went ahead and asked her if she wants to get together tonight so we'll see what she says. DS has no homework other than his nightly reading, so that worked out pretty well.

I finally got around to baking my Pillsbury "place & bake" Halloween cookies. I am proud of myself for baking them ON Halloween instead of after!

Morning DDA!

I found out I have very little fall/winter like clothes. I'm also down to mainly two/almost three pairs of work pants thanks to bleach/black ink. I really hate shopping sometimes. Especially when fall/winter stuff is regular priced. Maybe I'll head over to Gabriel Brothers after work tonight and see what I can find there.
