Boy sounds like I do need to see a rerun this week!

he had nothing to do with why they were fired - their whole team said as much- if he had just kept his mouth shut in the boardroom he would have NEVER been fired - but he came out swinging and he had no chance b/c they all saw their chance to get rid of him!!

What was up with the two girls and guy lying on the bed all snuggled up with each other - how long have they been there - like 2 weeks?!?!?

Why, oh why isn't Utah closer to you? I would give anything to be able to watch your kids for you. I just feel so helpless right now! I can't begin to imagine what you all are going through!

I need some serious prayers and PD. My mom just called and my SIL's father committed suicide tonight. I am devestated. I had just hung up the phone with my brother when he found out. Please pray for Keyla and Ben. I will be going to Mississippi for the funeral whenever it is (maybe on Thursday). This is just so horrible. She is only 28 years old.

Night all. I'm headed to bed. I still have to teach tomorrow, ballet, and choir. May skip choir tomorrow night, cause I'll have a lot to do to get ready for the quick trip. I don't even own a black dress. May have to make a quick trip to Kohls!

I know, and it was such a good b'day. In fact, Ben and I were on the phone when it happened. They live in Jackson, MS which is about 8-10 hours from here. John hopefully is going with me. My brother is flying us down. I'll probably go on Thursday for a Friday funeral, but I don't know what all extra will be involved with a suicide. He and my SIL are the kids' godparents, and they're the ones taking us to the beach for the kids' birthday.

My mom is going down tomorrow early to help my brother. Unfortunately my Dad is in Puerto Rico on business and can't get back. I hope John can go. Otherwise it will just be me and my mom for my brother (he's my only sibling).

My brother, sister-in-law and 6 month nephew are moving to Cincinnati in 3 weeks. I hope they'll be able to handle this weather since they are not used to it. They've lived in Mexico all their lives, except for the last 3 years, since he was moved to a job in Caracas and now he's been in Singapore for the last 2 months. Still it's the same type of weather. It'll definitely be a different experience and I'm sure it'll be fun too.
It's interesting how weather can be so different from one city or one country to another. This weekend I went swimming with the kids and our temperature at this time of the year is 80-85°. I lived in Vermont for 10 months about 20 years ago, and that was the first time that I had snow days. In my city, I've only seen 1 day of snow in my 36 years of life, and it was barely a thin layer.
We'll see how it goes for them.

What part are they from? My little sisters closest friends (down the street from my family) are from Michoacan and moved here about 8 years ago. They've adjusted, but I'm sure there will be days (like today!) that they'll miss the weather!

We all live in Guadalajara in the state of Jalisco. It's pretty close to Michoacan, though.

Tom - Welcome back & I am glad your Mom is doing better. I know how tough it can be when a parent gets sick. My Mom went to Disney this trip (she has been more times that any of us) and was unhappy because she had to spend the whole time in a wheelchair. She doesn't walk very well or very fast any more. She said she loved being there with my nephews but felt like a burden, even though we all tried to reassure her she wasn't.

Denise - Happy belated birthday. I love the shirt that Kate made you. I am sorry for your loss. It is hard to loose someone so young, but harder yet when they take their own life. This has to be so hard on your SIL & Brother. My thoughts & prayers will be with you and your family during this difficult time.

Lindsay - Excellent catching up, I am sure you will put me to shame.

Good morning DDA! I hope everyone has sun, and I hope your snow is melting because ours isn't and it's still cold.

I'm off to take my nursing finals! I'm sooooo not prepared, but I should still pass the classes, which is all I care about at this point. I'm so ready to be done! I didn't study except for like an hour though last night because there's some garbage to sort through with my in-law's and this house purchase. I would think the details aren't really any of their business, but what do I know (ooh, THIS is where this guy belongs!) So naturally, that's taking a toll on Kyle and I as well, as.... well, you know how men can be with their moms. We've discussed it enough, so I KNOW you know.
