I agree! We have had a few days worse than this & they still went to school. Not sure why they called it off today

This is the first snow day this year! How ridiculous is that - spring startes and we get a snow day

I know, and it was such a good b'day. In fact, Ben and I were on the phone when it happened. They live in Jackson, MS which is about 8-10 hours from here. John hopefully is going with me. My brother is flying us down. I'll probably go on Thursday for a Friday funeral, but I don't know what all extra will be involved with a suicide. He and my SIL are the kids' godparents, and they're the ones taking us to the beach for the kids' birthday.

My mom is going down tomorrow early to help my brother. Unfortunately my Dad is in Puerto Rico on business and can't get back. I hope John can go. Otherwise it will just be me and my mom for my brother (he's my only sibling).

Thanks for the prayers. My head is reeling.

This is so sad for you and your family, your DB and SIL really will need you there and all the support you can give. If John goes who will stay with the kids or will they go too??

The saddest part of my job is putting together funerals and funeral bulletins. The lady who was in the hospital last week...lost her valiant struggle and passed away on Friday afternoon. She was a fount of information on most of the people in the congregation and she will be missed!! Her husband has been an amazing caretaker...and he thinks he let her down somehow .

OMG! I lived in Galesburg, IL when I was little (like 3 or 4 years old). Too funny. my dad worked for DeKalb. My mom said it snowed on my b'day then too on March 21~

he had nothing to do with why they were fired - their whole team said as much- if he had just kept his mouth shut in the boardroom he would have NEVER been fired - but he came out swinging and he had no chance b/c they all saw their chance to get rid of him!!

What was up with the two girls and guy lying on the bed all snuggled up with each other - how long have they been there - like 2 weeks?!?!?

I can't quit crying. I just talked to my brother and all he kept saying was "I really need you here, Nisi". My heart is broken for him and Keyla. This is just too horrible. I am so, so sad.

I need some serious prayers and PD. My mom just called and my SIL's father committed suicide tonight. I am devestated. I had just hung up the phone with my brother when he found out. Please pray for Keyla and Ben. I will be going to Mississippi for the funeral whenever it is (maybe on Thursday). This is just so horrible. She is only 28 years old.
