Midnite -- I can't see it either. Is the link gone or is it just operator error on my part? :rotfl2:
I tried copying the link to a new window, nope. Tried changing browsers, nope. I guess it just doesn't like us. :badpc:

For Glynis and Jacob and everyone else sick or injured or troubled.

When you don't know what to say...give a big hug from the DDA.

Is it just me, or is this thread really slow loading for anyone else?

If anyone's really bored, I just rediscovered a website my sister dedicated to Alyssa. She hasn't updated it in awhile, and it made me all sentimental, because my baby is going to be 2 on April 3rd!!! :goodvibes

http://home.cwru.edu/~mcw/

Oh and please someone tell me my body's going to look like that again!!! :teeth:

Amy :)

Great photos! I really love the last one with the scarecrow.

YES---you will look like that again. I had a thyroid problem after I had Joe and gained over 40 pounds. Then I got pregnant with Emma (only gained 8 pounds and she was 8 lbs, 12 oz ) and was nursing her. BUT...when she turned 1 I decided I needed to take the time for me to loose the weight. I lost 55 pounds on weight watchers. I could still loose another 20 or 30 but things have been crazy this past year with my mom and MIL and just life with 3 kids under 6. I know you'll do it a lot quicker than I did. And you are so much younger than I am!

Have a great trip and continued good luck with the new house.

Ooooo, DH's parents...I hope they "behave" themselves! I don't want to come back and read that they did this to you again :furious:

I hope you are feeling well enough to truly enjoy your birthday! :goodvibes

And take pictures of those cuties baking their first cake! :sunny:

As I was baking on Saturday, I kept thinking, someday Alyssa and Matthew will help me with these and my cookies won't look quite so perfect. :rotfl:

Amy :)

Have to share this photo of the kids making Christmas cookies. I was hoping to have it as Christmas card photo but chose one that you could see their faces instead. Got the aprons at Kohl's.

That is so darling! I may have to steal that design for our cards this year! Would you mind?

Not quite...we had a pretty big day! I think we found a house!!! :cheer2:

I don't normally ask for Pixie Dust, but if you all could be so kind to send some our way, because we're making an offer tomorrow! :sunny:

Thanks!
Amy :)

:wizard: :wizard: for you and hope everything works out!!

Yes, Kevin did all the ironing. And all his own laundry! He's a keeper! ;)

Amy :)

Aubrey did all the laundry yesterday for all 4 of us, I will probably be doing the ironing as we need the stuff cause I hate laundry.

He sounds like a keeper to me !!!

I started reading the books to Katie, and Jacob would listen with us. Then Katie got to the point where she wanted to do the reading on her own. That really bummed Jacob out, until he realized it would mean more one on one time with mom. We're halfway through book 5 and he is really into it. He and his friends play HP all the time. I've knitted them "house" scarves for this winter. We have a couple of Gryffindors, and some Ravenclaw. Surprisingly, no Slytherin or Hufflepuff. DH's brother is in the process of making wands for them all. He makes them, polishes them, and personalizes them for all the kids in the neighborhood. It's his way of de-stressing after teaching Middle School music all day long. Lucky us!

Ooh! I want one of each!!! Scarf & wand!!! I'm working on my robe & hat for camp. I not only have my "drawers" but I also sometimes wear outfits. I've been thinking about asking my mom to make me one of the Weasley sweaters. She could probably make me a Weasley scarf as well.

Oh, Denise! I'm feeling your pain! I passed my 3rd kidney stone since the surgery this past weekend. I just dosed up on the heavy meds and let time do its thing. I wish I was closer so I could help out.

The cake sounds incredible! I love carrot cake! I didn't realize that my twins were born on your birthday! What a great thing! I'll always be able to remember your birthday, now! I hope you have a great time at dinner; I love seafood! And then to be able to celebrate your anniversary, too! What a good plan you came up with!

Happy, Happy Birthday to your Girls! I won't ever forget their birthday, either. How old will they be tomorrow? 3 or 4? March 21 rocks!

Thanks for the good wishes on the stone. I remember that you have them alot too. Thank goodness for Percocet!

Sharonville, of course (like we can go anywhere else thanks to Mr. President of Council :teeth: )

The best part is not only does it meet everything we were looking for in a house (more bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.) but it's still walking distance to our community center, park, library, restaurants, etc.

Amy :)

Sounds ideal, good luck :wizard: :wizard:

Thank you for all the wonderful Birthday wishes!!!!! It really made my day special!!!!!!!!

:grouphug:

We are headed out to Dinner as soon as Megan get home from Theatre practice.

It has been a nice day. Next week will be my birthday trip. I am headed to Orlando (not to Disney, I know shocking) with my Best Friend from College. It will be 4 days relaxing!!

It would have been nicer if the weather had been sunny and pretty. :sunny: But from what I am reading and seeing on the weather channel, 55 beats the rest of the country!!

Glynis, poor poor little Jacob! I wish I could take him to McDonald’s for Ice Cream!!!

How funny, after I typed this to post, I kept reading post and saw Kate (my sister) also suggested Ice Cream. Yup, My Mom fixed everything with Ice Cream!!!

Amy, Kevin, Alyssa & Matthew: Have a great Disney Trip! You are gonna love the warm weather and Mickey!!! I enjoyed your pics!!!

This is so awesome! I love seeing kids working in the kitchen. It brings back memories of the neighbor kids coming when I was little and all 6 of us decorating sugar cookies. And no Amy, they don't look quite as perfect as yours do! However, I know when my kids decorated ours, there was extra love in each bite.

Good Morning My DDA Friends :)

I have missed hanging out with ya'll on here but life has been a bit busy. I am going to make a long story short with little drama.

1. My stepdaughter (Melissa), her husband and my grandaugher (Haley, 6)have been living with us since mid-Feb. Let's just say they are re-grouping financially and will probably be with us for about 6 months.
2. My stepson (Sam) has moved back in with us........not by his own doing but by the suggestion of his wife. They are having some marital problems to work thru. I think 50% of their problems have to do with his mother-in-law that they have been living with. My son has a little boy, Jake (3) and he is really missing his family. Did I mention my daughter-in-law is due to have a baby in 5 days!!!! My son Sam and Lindsy are getting along good. We were all at the hospital Saturday night until Sunday morning and then sent home since the contractions stopped and she was only dialated 3cm. There is so much drama to go into with this situation that I could write forever about it. Let's just say he has a very needy mother-in-law and if she isn't the center of attention then there starts the problems.

Of course then there is my husband and my two boys. We are adjusting well. I am doing everything I can to be sure that my older kids problems do not effect my younger two. So far so good. My older kids have been mine that I have raised since they were in K and 2nd grade so I love them as my own.

Anyway............that is what I am doing and going thru right now so any prayers that can be said for Sam and Lindsy and their marraige I would really appreciate it.

Did ya'll notice my ticker.....11 days until our cruise!!!

By for now..........Lynn

:wizard: princess: :wizard: and :grouphug: :grouphug:
for you and all your family!!!
