Does anyone know the lyrics to the Jammin' Jungle Parade? I am listening to it on LIve 365, and am having a hard time figuring out what they are saying. I tried to google it but didn't find anything. Kate, I'm sure you will have better luck than I did.

How’s everything look up ahead?
So many people!
That’s swell! I hope they’re ready for a wild adventure. Let’s get this show on the road!
“We’re on our way my friend! Our journey has begun.”

The Rhythm of One
I am you.
And you are me
we walk down the street and we swing from a tree
We all belong
And we all get to see
We’re just one great big family.
Here we go now!
So sing it out
Let’s bark and growl and screech and roar!
And dance along
Let’s stomp and jump and leap and soar.
Enjoy the adventure the party’s begun
We’re jamming in the jungle to the rhythm of one

Jam everyone clap along now!
That’s it – don’t be shy.
There you go!
My friends are you ready for the party?
Yeah!
I said are you ready for the party?
Yeah!
Then let us go!

So sing it out!
And Bark and growl and screech and roar
And dance along
and Stomp and jump and leap and soar

We’re jamming in the jungle to the rhythym of one

And bark And growl And screech And roar

From what I remember, not all the vehicles are wheelchair accessible, but I will try to take a picture for you. Hopefully if I tell Kevin, between the two of us, we'll remember. :teeth:

Oh, and am I still supposed to look for Mickey graduation ears too?

Amy :)

ooh yes! please please! It was me that was asking. If you can find them, PLEASE let me know. I would still love 2 pair. I'll PM you my cell so you can let me know and I can get you money if you have any luck. I would appreciate it so much! :goodvibes

ETA: Apparently lovespoohbear did too. I was pretty surprised you remembered, since I asked months ago! :rotfl:

Well, if you don't mind, I would still love to know if they have them. :rolleyes1

I choose Drawers because I know I can have more fun with this name. Every year I buy a new pair of boxers or pj pants with funny sayings or characters. I also have a wide range of hats that I wear at camp.
So can we call you Drawers? Love that name.

I always buy my DH fun boxers. He's very serious. I tell him he needs to be reminded everytime he has to go that life isn't suppose to always be so serious.

I could pretend that I remembered all along that you requested them too, but alas, it's Matthew's fault. :rotfl:

I'll be sure to look for them though!

I need advice:

Julia has begged me for the last few months to do cheerleading -so I called our local cheerleading gym and they told me tuition was $45 a month, then there were competition fees around $50 for 3 local competitions and the uniform - and they get less expensive uniforms b/c they grow so quickly - this seemed reasonable to me and so I enrolled Julia in tumbling class at the gym and told her she could do pee wee cheer next year. I was told by several people that the pee wee option was for people who want to see how they feel about it and an affordable option.

None of what I was told seemed out of line to me

Tonight they released all the information for next year.

Listen to these fees:

$130 coaches fee
$45 monthly tuition
$35 annual registration fee (which I paid when I enrolled her in tuymbling)
$125 uniform (this is supposed to be a cheap one?!!?)
$8 in hairbows
$12 bloomers for under skirt
$40 practice uniform
$150 warm up suit
5 competitions averaging $75 each (3 in other cities about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away so if they are early we will have to stay overnight in a hotel)

and this does not include gas, pictures, crap she will want to buy at competitions, end of the year banquet and what if she outgrows the $400 required clothing?!?!?

I figured out it will be close to $1500 for her to cheer next year without all the extras

I am mad that I paid the annual registration fee - I think they hid a lot of fees from me - they told me the uniform was about $120 - um think they could have mentioned the other $280 in required clothing?

and now - I have a little girl who is going to be crushed - I told her she could cheer -

I told her tonight it was too much money and I was going to see if I could find another gym but I am not sure anywhere else will be much better!!

Any ideas out there?

Eek! I wish I could say something different.... but that's about how competitive cheer ran when I did it as well. :guilty: I can't believe they didn't give you all the info though, THAT is what's rediculous! :furious:

Which gym/squad was this? I'll PM you the gyms we recommend to CHCA girls, but I haven't checked the prices since about 1998 :rolleyes1 I just refer.... but I do have a list of info. I'll be happy to at least give that to you so maybe you'll find some options. I certainly would be getting every dime back from wherever though, since they were really dishonest with you! :confused3

In our house it's I love you even if you are weird because the whole family is!!
The other one is when we tell each other your strange Abi's response is "Am I as strange as Ama" :lmao: So my mom is the highest form of strange and we all wanna be her when we grow up!!

Cheerleading is ridiculously expensive, but don't write it off until you research other places. I know that Julie just enrolled Carli in cheerleading too, so PM her and see what she says. She lives on the West side, so you probably won't enroll in the same location, but she might have some more info for you.

This is the site for the group that one of my former students cheered on until she graduated. http://www.southernohiotumbling.com/door/

That's my rebels! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes Who was the student?!

Happy St. Patricks Day! I'm home today. I have now had pink eye for 10 days! :3dglasses (Me with my 7 year old glasses). It's very bad today, so I am going to the doctor (again) in a few minutes. I should be back later.

Jennifer, your family is in my prayers. :grouphug:

Wasn't that generous... batter made enough to cover two 7 inch cake tins an inch deep ( could probably have used one tin and made them thicker ) I add three squares of chocolate crumbled up (the squares were about 1.5 inch square) then about 20 baby marshmallows which I cut in half.

Once they were cooked and cooled I melted 6 more squares of choc to spread on the top (so 3 squares on each) and then just decorated with mallows... On the one that I experimented with the butter cream I spread that first then poured the chocolate over then the mallows - that was the tastiest one.

Should have taken pics really - took half to work yesterday and DH pretty much demolished the other half last night! I cut each tin into 12 squares as they were quite sickly with all the chocolate and all!

That sounds SO delicious! :goodvibes

Looks like Amy and I are on the same page..... I hope that doesn't mean I have pregnancy brain, because I have no baby to blame that on! :rotfl:

This was posted on another thread. She said it wasn't all of the lyrics :confused3 so I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for:

Hmm.... I don't think I know her. Bummer! That would have been cool. If she cheered long, she was actually probably around for a little while at the same time!
