Hi all,

Just listening to the radio and they said that High School Musical is the number one album this week from a TV show.

Last time an album reaching number one from a TV show was in 1985.

Does anyone know what that was???

Footloose?

Is it Miami Vice?

I was thinking “musical = movie”.
I am not always the brightest in the morning. :rotfl2:
I NEED MORE COFFEE. :coffee:
I’ve only been awake for 3 hours, what… you want me to think already? :lmao:
I’m a west coast DISer , you (most of you) are all in full thinking mode by the time try to remember who I am in the morning.

Deb, I'm glad it all worked out and am proud of how you supported your son. WTG!

Tia, I'm so happy your DH met with a supportive doctor and has started a treatment plan. Sending you PD that he feels better soon and that it is easier for you all. And congrats on the bonus!

Dawn, good to see you and so glad that you're doing well. I think of you often.

Hope all the DDAers in Disney are having fun.

Hope all the sick DDAers get well soon.

Sorry I'm not around. Life is just too much at the moment. I'm pretty much just posting on the DISability and multiples forum to get advice on Rees. I do try to read the thread every couple of days. Know that even if I don't respond to a post, that I am here in spirit, supporting and loving you all.

Denise

So, I have to tell you all that I should not be on here today.:guilty: DH comes home tomorrow after being gone for 5 weeks. :cool1:  YEAH!!!! But my house is trashed and I am supposed to get the taxes ready for our CPA appt on Tuesday. Taxes doesn’t sound like it would be a big deal, but we have rental property and I didn’t get all the receipts and stuff together for that yet. We are in the hole a bit for the property and want every penny back the IRS is willing to give us. I told DH I would have it all ready when he got back. DEAR GOD I only have 24 hours left and I don’t even have much started.

And am I doing anything to fix it now…:rotfl2: NO!!! I would rather talk with you all (always more fun) and it will come down to this. I put the girls down at 7:30 for bed, I watch the Ghost Whisperer and the get my act together and do as much as I can before midnight.

good luck! We are still trying to get all our tax stuff together too. It's annoying that DH always puts it off till the last minute, but somehow he manages to get it done. I always do my part gathering together all the documents and receipts, and all he has to do is fill out the spreadsheets of our charitable contributions and mileage deducted, etc.

Ick!

Hi all!
Glad things seem to be looking up for the DDA (we could use it!!!!!!!!!!!)

First off- Vicki- get off the computer and go pack!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

Denise- Hi! :wave2: We miss you and I'm glad you popped in!

Deb- your son sounds very grown up for making his choice!!

I am still waiting for the store to email me back on the stroller, although I noticed on their site today that they dropped the price on the red one to match the price on the others. Since I already missed my window to ship it today I might as well wait until Monday to see if they'll match price (it was only a $9 difference)

I think we are finally going to book our Dec trip tonight :woohoo: !!!!! DH has decided that the airfare is low enough (plus the plane is getting really full so if all 8 of us want to sit together we need to act now!). I have promised once we book never to go back and see if the price drops... :rolleyes1 Now the real drama begins- where are we going to eat!!!!!!!!!! SIL and I have pretty much decided for everyone to make a list and eat where they want and for the restuarants that make everyone's list we will eat together and if not, we will go our separate ways. :woohoo: Convincing my MIL that this OK will be a whole other issue

If I may bloviate for a minute (sorry was watching Bill O'Reilly last night and I love that word!!!!!!!), here is my list of where to eat:

Day 1= food court lunch at POR, Pinnochio Village Haus for dinner, Ghiradelli's for ice cream :p

Day 2= Crystal Palace Breakfast, Garden Grill or Biergarten dinner (never been to Garden Grill before....)

Day 3 = New MGM character breakfast (if it ever surfaces ;) ) and Le Cellier for my Birthday dinner (just Mommy and Daddy :woohoo: )

Day 4 = food court breakfast, 1900 Park Fare Princess dinner (for my niece princess: )

Day 5 = Norway princess breakfast, Teppanyaki for dinner

Day 6 = Chef Mickey Breakfast, LTT for dinner and MVMCP

Day 7= food court breakfast, Hoop Dee Doo dinner

Day 8 = food court before we go to the airport.

Any suggestions? We have never been to Garden Grill, LTT, 1900 PF dinner, Norway breakfast or Hoop Dee Doo...

Thanks!!
Kristin

We loved LTT. The character interaction was the best we had, I think. I think we got to see all of them at least 3 times, if not more and we weren't there a real long time. We also loved the Hoop Dee Doo. It is a lot of fun. Our waiter was great too! My oldest really didn't want to go but after she did, she said she wanted to go again. ;)

Kate - Did you see that there will be a High School Musical Dance-Along version on next Friday? The four main characters will teach some of the steps to the dances (not that Julia needs it by now I'm sure). I called my sister to tell her and she was so excited about it. My guess is that mom will have a few 4th graders spending the night at her next weekend and sitting in front of the TV.

tink2020 - Trying to send you a PM, but your box is full. :)
