Boy, you are good, Tammi! Right on cue!

How are things with your husband gone? Is Nicholas still sick?

I first want to thank all of the great designers where I got my ideas. I didn't think at first I was going to be able to do it. But hey, never say never. I created some designs for magnets for our upcoming cruise, here is the link:

Again thank you all, I am glad I found this group of great people :worship:

Have a great night!!!

Yay! You did it! You came in and said hi! I'm so glad to see you over here. Now don't be a stranger!

Kate,

Here is my take on it. People call each other by first name in here and not screen name. That is not a bad thing what so ever, but until you get to know who is who and understand what some of the posts are about (such as Denise- hope Rees feels better soon) some people may not feel a part of this thread. It’s hard enough to keep up and when you don’t know who someone is talking about, then you get a bit lost.

I am a lurker with the occasional posts, I love to read how folks are doing, but again still working on the who is who part. Does this make any sense what so ever? I enjoy giving my opinion when I feel I should and just in general glad to read how everyone is doing. When I feel comfortable letting you all know how strange and or entertaining my life is, watch out… it could be a long read. I for one know the folks on this thread are great people, I love how you all invite people in and share more than just “here is my design”, you share life in general and that makes for a great group of people. So don’t be hurt or upset at us lurkers… we are just slow to get in the pool. Thank you for asking about us lurkers.

This was very well put. It is exactly how I felt when I first found the board & thread. It took me awhile to figure out who everyone was which was a little overwhelming when reading the post. I was afraid to post because I was afraid I was going to miss something or someone important and hurt someones feelings. I knew that everyone was very friendly but it just took a while to get comfortable jumping in. You were all very welcoming when I did finally jump in (and I appreciate that because I was still a little intimidated).

I think the best way is to do what exactly what you did Kate. Every once in a while, we need to remember to post a note for the lurkers letting them know that we'd love to hear from them and they are very welcome.

Welcome to anyone that wants to jump in!!!!! :welcome: This bunch of folks is very welcoming and open their arms to all. I have only been around for a couple of months myself and they made me feel like I was with old friends.

ETA: We also need to follow Glynis' example! When someone posts in one of the other threads on the board asking for assistance, we should let them to know we'd love to have them swing by the DDA trouble free zone.

I thought that was quite comical that I came on just as you posted that. :teeth:

Nicholas is all better and went back to school today, and my parents came down to stay the week and help with the kids while I work. I'm glad to hear that your brood is better.

Lindsay -

Here is lots of :wizard: pixiedust: :wizard: pixiedust: :wizard: pixiedust: that you get better before you trip. I hope you are well enough to enjoy it. Have a great time!

Welcome! party::welcome: party: All are allowed here. We love to chat with anyone who likes to join us.

Feel better Lindsay and relax before your trip. It sounds like WDW is just what you need. If you are flying you might want to take a sudafed right before you take off to help your ears stay clear. Enjoy the Florida sunshine.

Dawn I am gald to hear from you. I hope the rest of your pregnanacy is smooth sailing.

Denise I am glad Reese is doing better. I hope that things continue to improve.

Sending pixiedust: and  to everyone, this includes alll of you who just lurk. You are all apart of our Ohana and we would love to learn more about you. It may be daunting at first but we would love to learn more about you and have you post. If you can't keep up that is alright to, it is alot to keep track up with. But we would love to learn about our cousins who have yet to introduce themselves yet.

Had another Girl Scout cookie booth today we sold 55 boxes in 3 hours. In 6 hours between the two booths we sold 133 boxes.

Awaiting whatever wacky weather mix we may get tonight. If it is bad I hope it gets bad enough so I don't have to go to work.

Becky

ETA: Hooray for post 900. :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

I came to read the big announcement and I saw this. As Amy said my Dr. visits have gone well. I've had ultrasounds both times and they said everything looked perfect. This pregnancy has been much harder than my first and I've been really drained. This Sunday I officially enter the 2nd trimester, so hopefully everything will be better.

Thanks for thinking of me and I hope everyone here is doing well. I miss y'all.

So glad to see you!!! Looks like the snow was fun!!! Great pic in your signature!!

Welcome!!! You have found the right place to come in and chat!! It's amazing how fast we can spend that money on tshirts and transfer paper!!!

Welcome to the newly un-lurkers. We're happy to have you!! Just jump on in. I've been around awhile now and I still have to resort to my excel spreadsheet of the regular posters to keep track sometimes. :)

While I'm on my own little posting party(I seem to do it quite often!!)....Where is the best brick & mortar store to get tshirts? I completely spaced ordering shirts for this weekend until it was too late!!

Thanks for the pixie dust for Phil. Yesterday I was asking him if there was anyway he could pick a different doctor that could see him sooner than next month. He found another general practioner in the area who's interests are anxiety and depression (sounds right up our alley, huh). At first they said the next available appointment was April 17. After a second though the receptionist said that was unless he wanted to come in Thursday. So...Phil is headed in tomorrow afternoon. I am so relieved that we could see some improvement in the next few weeks instead of having to wait a month to even get started.

So...if there is some spare prayers and pixie dust out there we could use it. The doctor will also be starting from scratch on his blood work, possibly liver and spleen ultrasounds, and maybe even some lymph node biopsies this time around. I would love if we could finally get to a point of answers (or even actually ruling out things) instead of just being told to "wait and see" and "test again in six months."

Thanks, everyone. Sorry that I started running off at the fingers there. This just gets so frustrating, but I don't feel like I can say much to Phil since he already feels so bad about it. Plus, I know that he feels like no one (read "his family") believes him that something is wrong just because there have been no 100% conclusive tests. I probably come across that way too sometimes, but for me it's that I don't want to believe something is wrong and by not having answers for us the doctors are just making it easier for me.

Okay, no I am really going. It's been a stressful week at work and that isn't helping me either. Good night.

Thanks!! I figured it was Walmart...Old Navy doesn't carry a lot of the bigger sizes for the pooh sized. We just need the white shirts as we are mickey tie dying....if I ever figure out how download from my camera I will get pic's up! :confused3

:cheer2: YEAH!!!!! Sounds like a wonderful receptionist! Hopefully the "conclusive" answers come shortly because we know there's something wrong!!

Some pixie dust pixiedust: for Phil tommorow and for you pixiedust: at work!!

In the midst of the "thin" around here lately we got some great news(at least for Cassidy)....Cassidy has been accepted into the International Baccalaureate program at the HS she will be attending next year. (I am WAAAY too young to have a high schooler :rotfl2: :worried: :rotfl2: !)

The IB is something Cass has worked hard for since 6th grade and if she makes it through all 4 years of the program she will be graduating with 2 diplomas in her hand!! I have some misgivings about the lack of freedom in the program but she is thrilled, so I am too!!!
