Is there any news on the job front for your husband?

Glynis -- He is interviewing at two companies right now, has had second interviews with both. One of them asked for his references yesterday. The other one seems to be looking good, too, as he has had to do a personality exercise on line last week, then was asked to go to Achiever TEC today, and they said he will have to complete an Achiever assessment, as well as an interview while there. I'm not very knowledgable about these types of things -- I've been lucky to be in the same job for 19 years, since a senior in college, but it seems a little excessive with all the testing/skills assessments etc. I'm concerned that he will get fired from his current job with all these interviews, testing etc.

Thanks for asking about him. I really appreciate the prayers and good thoughts you have all sent him as he tries to get out of a really bad job. We are still thankful that he does have a job, and it could be worse.

My girls have seen him every time we go to DL and it would be great to have that autograph page. If you have done Prince Charming in an autograph page, would it be all right if I had a copy?

Hope your DH gets better. I have been struggling with hypothyroid for a while now. Can't seem to get the medicine dose right. It's hard. My blood pressure keeps dropping it is 80 over 60 now. Hopefully he has better luck with his dr.

He seems to be doing a lot better. At least he's eating again. After the birth of my 2nd child I had a hyperthyroid problem-the kind that you loose weight. But mine was just over active enough to make me really really hungry and I gained 30 to 40 pounds in the 8 months before I finally saw the right doctor. By then it had corrected on its own by I didn't loose the weight until after I stopped bfeeding my 3rd baby. SO...now my DH has hypothyroid-the kind where most people gain weight only he was too tired to eat and lost weight. Sometimes life isn't fair!

He does seem so much better at home but he honestly didn't seem that bad at home before it was when we went away that his anexity combinded with the thyroid was just too much for me to handle. He says he wants to try Disney again so I've got to give him a chance. His doctor said he needed his thyroid pills for life but he should be OK after just 6 months of happy pills-which would be right around our Disney trip. I'm hoping she told him that just so he would take them at all.

If he acts they way he did on our last trip, I will make him stay in the room or go off on his own. He will not ruin another trip for me.

Yes, I'm not doing Poly CL next family trip either.
I loved my 11 day trip but I finally wised up and bought DVC. Instead of three deluxe rooms for our family, I'm going to try for a Grand Villa in May next year. If that doesn't work, I'll get a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom. I have a new grandson so there will be 9 of us. We need a washer and dryer!!!

I did an 8 day trip last year at POFQ. It was wonderful. tinker1bell's 2 sisters stayed at Pop. We loved it there. It was a cool resort. Hey, it's all good!!! Afterall, you'll be in Disney!!

My DH actually suggested DVC but we can't buy sight unseen. I considered staying at SSR through CRO but I don't want to pay the $500/night and just don't feel comfortable renting points. I think we may try to do a tour when we are there. Its good to hear the great reviews on POFQ and Pop. I'm really anxious to try them both out.

Has anyone tried those temporary ones in the parks? I was thinking of doing that on my adult only trip and freaking out DH! How long do they last? I've got to say I love that show Miami ink.

Both my girls got the temp ones at Disney last year. They didn't last very long (about 2 days) but it may have been because of where they got it. They wanted it just above their pant line in the back. I'm sure that area probably gets rubbed more with sitting, etc. than other places. They were really cute while they lasted.

We are in the middle of an ice storm

The snow started here about an hour ago and is coming down fast. No fluffy stuff for us either. The wind isn't blowing bad here. There is a major weather warning. They are predicting blizzard conditions in some areas of the UP. Hopefully, that will miss us.

The weather here has been goofy as well.

My DH and I are going to our good friend's house tomorrow and staying until Monday. This is a place where I always can unwind and really have a relaxing time.
They live in Arbovale WV. Just a few miles from Green Bank. And we are talking they live up the holler. Their house is the last one up the lane. It is so peaceful. Settled in a valley with the sky looking such a shade of blue that you just don't see most times. They have a creek that runs past the house. They have two Goldens who are so dear. Well trained too. Plus the two kitty cats who stay outside. (she is allergic) but they have very well insulated little boxes they sleep in. The one cat Callie knows when I am coming, she leaves a "present" for me at the front door Plus every night about 5pm a few deer come down to be fed corn.

Ok.... turns out we aren't leaving for Delaware tomorrow, we're leaving now. Long story, but I'll be gone all weekend. We'll have the internet though, so hopefully I won't get too far behind!

Thank you all for the support. Your words and prayers mean more to me than you will ever know. It is so wonderful to have you all to voice my concerns to and vent.

Today was bad again. Rees had a major melt down in response to the dentist visiting his school. He got so upset that his teachers had to take him out of the room. Then he was "off" the rest of the day, nervous and whiny. I cried all during staff meeting and have continued on and off since then. I called his Neurologist in tears,and they are seeing him tomorrow at 11am. DH is coming too so we can discuss these problems. I'm beginning to think he's suffering from an anxiety disorder (he gets terribly afraid, heart races, bursts into tears, repeats over and over he needs to leave). It's the same symptoms he showed at Disney. I'm praying she gives us some answers and treatment options. I'd have a drink, but I'm afraid if I do I might not quit drinking. I don't remember being this upset in a long, long time. This situation is breaking my heart.

We're off to church for dinner and choir. Hope everyone is well. Oh, and my parents are coming this weekend and we're taking the kids to see Curious George. I hope the dark theater isn't a problem.

Denise I'm sending - hang in there. I hope you guys get cut the break you deserve real soon.

Lady and the Tramp is one of my favorites. I think Bambi is a sequel Bambi II. Not sure if it's any good, some of the sequels aren't any good.

You've all talked me into it - I'm going to get both of them, and it's definitely the original Bambi - I checked... didn't know they'd made a sequel.

I need a hug. I was just trying on bathing suits at Sears at lunch I found one that would have been OK but now I have a better of what will work directly from Land's End and I think I can talls on line. I'm pretty sure I can return to Sears if they don't work.

I won't be getting a tatoo on my back! Maybe they last longer on the arm or ankle.

UGH! Don't remind me that bathing suit weather is just around the corner! I HATE shopping for them. But yes, you can order from Land's End and return it at Sears. I have done it. You are only out whatever you've paid for shipping.
