So I am getting my me time, but not in a manner I would like. I went to work Sunday, luckily the roads weren't that bad. I got home about 6pm. While I was at work I got called and asked if I wanted to go in early. So instead of working from midnight to 8am, I ended up working from 10:30pm to 6:45am. Although I was supposed to stay until 8am.

At about midnight I started to feel nauseous and sick to my stomach. About 1am the vomitting began. I don't think I have ever thrown up so much in my life. I can't even count how many times I have thrown up. My whole body hurts so bad, plus my blood vessels under my eyes have all broken. I feel horrible.

I called on call about 3am to get someone to come in and finish out my shift. It was 6:45am til someone arrived so I could leave. I spent all day in bed. I tried to get a shower so I could go to my other job at 3pm and just about past out. I called in sick. I just got up a little while ago. I still feel horrible and nauseuos and stiff all over.

This definitely is not the type of me time I wanted or needed. When I woke up I thought it was Tuesday morning, this has definitely been my longest day ever.

In better news my grandfather is out of the hospital.

Hey Jo!!! Glad to hear things are wrapping up for you there. Hopefully you will have a quick sale on the house and will be heading this way soon. Keep me up to date on how things are going. Have you decided on a specific location in Atlanta to head for??

Lynn

No
I need to see what job options my employer will have.
As soon as the house sells I'll start looking.

Ahh speaking of which... this came out yesterday... should I order it? Amazon are doing a deal here for Lady and Bambi - (buy together save £s)

I've never seen either of them... should I get them? WIll I like them?

I started buying up all the dvds when they came out as I've missed quite a few - last year I got Mulan and Pocahontas... not really impressed...

I LOVE Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid though...

Cinderella was ok.

Should I buy them? Even just to say I've seen them... they are classics after all...

Clare-

I didn't like Bambi (personal opinion because it is a classic after all) but Lady and the Tramp is a great movie!! I am with you Pocahantas...kind of blah...Mulan great because it's Donny Osmond's voice but again take it or leave it. Favorite all time Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast, like The Little Mermaid. Cinderella is okay....little story....went home for lunch yesterday and it was playing on Playhouse Disney...nothing else was on so watched it while eating. Grandpa started watching with us and when I left watched the rest!! I asked him at dinner when was the last time he had watched Cinderella and he never had!! So my almost 84 year old grandpa was a first time watcher yesterday. Too cute!!

We are siamese if you ple-a-se....we are siamese if you don't please.

They thought that it was pretty cool to be putting on their Pj's tonight and being able to get up in the morning and just wear them to school.

Denise, I will say an extra prayer for you this morning! Let us know how it goes!

Just thought I would let ya'll know my DH has redeemed himself from this morning. I posted earlier how he ruined Valentines Morning.

He just showed up at work with a dozen wrapped roses and a card and even better an apology. I borrowed a vase from a co-worker and they are beautiful.

Not only am I in Love with him but I also like him again

I'll bet you'll never guess what I'm getting for Valentine's Day.

New garage doors! Why? Because I had a little problem with my garage door on Sunday. Like I forgot to open it before I tried to back my car out of the garage. UGH! As dh deadpanned as soon as he saw it, "There go the plane tickets. I guess we're walking to Florida." Actually, there went his new computer, and I feel really guilty about that. :guilty:

And you have to love a guy that can take things like this very calmly and cooly. Guess I got lucky there.

Sounds like you got a good one there especially if he can admit when he is wrong. :)

Awww sorry about your garage doors. I have a bad way of forgetting things are parked behind me even when DH reminds me. Once he told me not to back into his truck when I left. Well you guessed it, I jump in the car throw it in reverse and WHAM right into his truck. Of course he was not very happy or understanding as he had just told me not to do that. :rotfl: It is quite funny now and did not cause any damage.

Denise-

You have been in my prayers this morning. Hopefully all went wonderful at the lawyer's office!!

:rotfl: I'm getting to that point on the garage door, too. Too bad it was so expensive, or I'd be able to laugh it off even easier.

We have two single doors, but we couldn't replace the one with the same thing as they are 42 year old wooden doors. That meant two if the house was going to look right. I told dh last night if he was going to be as boneheaded as me and drive into a garage door that was the time to do it. :rotfl:
