Steffy - I used the DVD- for my videos, and I couldn't tell you why. That's what I bought many moons ago.

Wow for a whirlwind trip, you guys did & saw alot. That's cool. The pictures are great. Looks like you both had a good time.

I really enjoy going with my DH, DD17, & DD20 but I'm looking forward to 10 years from now when maybe I'll have some little ones (grandchildren) along. The excitement from the kids is wonderful to watch when we are there. It is one of my favorite things.

Thanks. We really did have a good time! It was a much needed break. I was really surprised by how much we got done. We got to see our favprites in every park, including a couple of shows. We had two character meals and saw lots of characters in between. Plus, while Terra was napping I got to wander the countries at Epcot for a little while. I think the fact that it was just the two of us made it easier. There are fewer people to please and she's too small for many of the rides with the longest lines making fastpasses easier to manage.

Well, we were at Mass today and Nicholas was being real mopey in the pew, not kneeling/standing when he was supposed to. I put my hand on the back of his neck to whisper in his ear, and I felt it........FEVER. That explained his behavior. So we came straight home instead of him staying for Sunday School. I knew he wasn't feeling good because he wasn't irritating his sister in the van. When we got home I took his temp and it was 101.5. He took some Motrin and laid in bed for awhile. Evidently it is working because he is bouncing around like usual. His appetite is still good and no other symptoms, except he did complain about a sore throat when he got up this morning. I hope this passes quickly without getting worse.

Oh, poor thing. I hope that Nicholas feels better soon. pixiedust:

ah- and you had every mother's biggest dilemma - should I give the motrin so he feels better and drives me crazy or should I let him sleep and get some peace and quiet!! :rotfl:

Seriously Kate - that is one of the funniest things I've heard a kid say. You should send it to a magazine and make some money for Disney!!!!
I told Steve it was a shame we weren't videotaping - we could have won America's funniest video contest -

what magazines would pay you for this?

Great pictures, Tia! How cool that the ones of you in front of the castle were while the fireworks were going off! :tink:

Does Reader's Digest do stuff like that. I love their humor in uniform and there are some other funny sections. Check them out. It really was funny.

Tia -

I LOVE your pictures

I did not realize Terra was your mini-me!!!! She is the spitting image of her mama!!

My two favorite are from your photopass account - the first one is where terra has tink in her hand and she is looking at Tink and you are looking at the camera - it really looks like Tink just magically appeared in her hand and she has a look of wonder in her eyes and that you have no clue that tinkerbell is there in her hand!! It just tells a great story about the magic of WDW and little kids!!

My other favorite is Terrra holding Simba - that is just adorable - her eyes look awesome in it!!

Denise asked a couple of days ago about party ideas. While I was out shopping today I saw some things that would work great in party favor bags.
At BJs they had the Princess and Marvel Heros boxed sticker sets marked down to $4.90. They also had 24 packs of the Princess Pencils with the big white erasers with the princesses for $5.00. Thoses were in the stationary/office supplies aisle. They also had toothbrush packs, 3 toothbrushes with one tube of toothpaste for $7.99. The had the princesses, Power Rangers, chicken little for the 3 - 7 aged crowd and Pooh for the younger ones. Very cute and something I would love my kids to get as a party favor.

Price Chopper had a Castle Cake (with the disney princesses) on display. It was beautiful. I looked at it briefly and think it would be easy to recreate myself. I would suggest checking it out and seeing if you could make it work or make something like it for the figs.

Thanks. I can tell the motrin is wearing off...he is flat again. I really try to only give it to them when the fever is making them miserable. I figure they have it for a reason so I let it run to kill whatever it is trying to fight off. Our friends cancelled on us for our picture viewing day. They are germ-ophobic. I guess he won't be going to school tomorrow. This will be the first day he misses because of sickness. The other 2 days were went we went to see ::MickeyMo.

Thanks, Kate! Our baby pictures are almost identical too! Phil is half Greek and my FIL likes to say that the Greek just washed right out of her. She does look SO much like me. We are so much the same in so many other ways as well. About all that is left is for her to sound just like me too. I wouldn't be surprised if that is coming though as well because I sound and look just like my mom too.

Those are my favorites too! She was so excited when the photog asked her to put her hands together because she knew that meant that Tink was going to land on her hands.

Reader's Digest does. Some of the parenting magazines may as well.

Hello to everyone! I'm not nearly caught up, but I've been trying to read bits here and there.

I don't read Reader's Digest, but that's the first thing that came to mind. I would check out Good Housekeeping, Redbook, Woman's Day etc. (the seven sisters as they are known in publishing). Next time you are at the grocery store, check it out or go on line. You are the Queen of Google too!

I got my ressies made for our cruise at 6.30 this morning which means 90 days to go!! Booked for Palo for dinner and registered the kids for the kids club, we are going to snorkel at Castaway Cay and save all our other excursion $$ for Alaska in Sept.

Okay, okay. So that Amy doesn't start stalking me, I had better get these pictures up. :teeth:

Here are the pictures from our quick trip two weeks ago. Was it that recently? I'm already ready to go back again!

My pictures are mostly just character pics this time since I didn't want to take my laptop to dump the cards this time. I figured that since I just took all of the parade/ride pics a few months ago, retakes could wait until October. In all, we had such a great time! We hit all of the parks for at least a half day, did a little walking around DTD and saw all of the nighttime shows in our 2 nights, 2 half days and 1 full day. Of course, I'd love to be there longer, but I'll take a short trip like that whenever I can get it.

ETA - And their even chronological this time! ;)

I loved your pictures -- I second what Kate liked. I think the Simba one is the cutest. But I HAVE to comment - holy cow - even stopped you were able to get 999,999 on Buzz Lightyear? That's fantastic!

Well since the last two days seemed to be full of sickies, I hope everyone is feeling better soon! Terra and I seem to have dodged the bullet. As soon as we left St. Louis last weekend about half of my family ended up with the whole throwing up thing going around.

We spent yesterday in the Magic Kingdom with the Incredibles at Disney on Ice. I think this is my favorite of all the shows I have seen in the last few years. It was nicely done and I loved all of the MK ride scenes. Terra was so excited every time a new ride would start and she's recognize the music. She was also so proud of her self for helping the Incredibles save the day with her wrist band. After the show we finally had her "official" brithday lunch at Chili's. Since Phil and I had lunch at Chili's the day she was born, we have been going every year for her birthday. We had a great time, though I was sad that Phil ended up not coming to meet us for lunch after all. I had been excited when he had said he wanted to come with us.

Phil could sure use some prayers and pixie dust if there is some to spare out there. For the last week or so, he has been bordering on depression for the first time in over a year. And poor Terra just can't understand why Daddy wants to sleep more and doesn't have the heart to play sometimes. He has a doctors appointment in a few weeks so hopefully things will either improve by then or he'll get some help from her. Thanks all.

Tia - I'm sending a lot of
pixiedust: your way for DH. Depression is not something to play with. Thank heaven he's going to the Dr. Hopefully all will be well.

I was in the perfect spot to hit to volcano while we were stopped so that was the only reason I got it. But still, I was excited. I've always wanted to be a full fledge space ranger!
