BTW, I'm all for a girls weekend. I've even got one free Delta ticket I need to use. I bet John (DH) would totally go for it. I could finally ride the big kid rides! :thumbsup2

We all need to seriously give some feedback for this WDW weekend. I guess I will start

What about last weekend in April or 1st weekend in June. We all fly in on Friday night.....all day at Disney Sat/Sun and fly out Sunday night. How does that sound?? If that doesn't work for everyone we can look at the dates in the Fall when it will cool back off. Any thoughts where to stay??

too cute!!!! I am thinking about doing autograph cards this year. But seeing as how we have been back from our last trip for 4 months and I haven't even started my scrapbook on it, I fear that would be one more thing sitting aroundin my crafting "to do" pile when we get back! :rotfl2:

And so ends my posting party! (I seem to be doing it a lot lately.... ;)

Thanks for the feel better wishes- it most have worked because my throat feels fine today and I feel like I have limitless energy :Pinkbounc

What I really should do is get off the computer and go start sewing the new window treatment for Kyle's big boy room. We painted this weekend- a dark royal blue on the bottom of the wall below a white chair rail. Above is bright white- which really makes the blue "pop". Kyle loves it!! I got 2 packets of Wallies that match the new bedding to put above the chair rail (Denise, I ended up with the Olive Kids Under Construction set- I really love it in person!! Thanks for your help!!)

Hope all is well with the gang today!!

Kristin

PS: Congrats on 10,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I noticed yesterday afternoon that we were getting close. I am also getting close to 1000 posts and was thinking about pulling a Denise and just posting "Hi!!" 50 or so times until we hit 10,000 and I hit 1000!! :rotfl:

We got back on Feb 22.

Marti I get thinking about a Dole whip but never saw one the whole time we were there. :confused3 I really was going to try one. I love pineapples.

There is only one place that I know of that sells a Dole Whip - Adverntureland in the Magic Kingdom - almost directly across from the Swiss Family Robinson tree house. Too bad you weren't able to get one -- but then again, at least now you are not addicted like I am!!! Welcome back - hope you feel better soon!

I had dole whip for the first time on our last trip. Kyle still asks me about it to this day!! It may very well need to be one of the first things we do when we get down there!!

Last weekend in April is Skunka's birthday - so that might be tough for me. I think first weekend in June is ok - but is it terribly hot there yet? Fall also works very well for me and may for others so that there can be some planning time and money saving time. Is this a pipe dream or do others like the idea (besides me, Lynn and Kate)?

If we wait until the fall then Amy, Dawn and Angela might be able to join us. Was there anyone else pregnant that I missed. Your right about saving the money......that would give people more time to plan.

My actual favorite is the Dole Whip float - that's when you get the fresh pineapple juice in it too.... man I need a Disney fix!!

Uhh, hello?????? I posted I wanted to go and even have a ticket to fly! I can't do June as it's BK's Ballet recital. what if we did the fall (Sept or Oct) when it's not crowded and Value Season? Then we can all save up!

I vote late Sept or Early Oct during the Value Season. I will be flying out of Atlanta on Airtran.......I have 2 free tickets from them. What days are we thinking about traveling and what days would we be visiting WDW??

I recommend NOT going on the following weekends:

Jewish holidays: Sept 23/24 and 30/Oct 2 Only because of potential crowds

Columbus Day Weekend: October 7-9 Potential crowd.

My vote is for Oct 13-15; the heat has usually subsided by then. Any other opinions?

I'm all for a weekend, however I would not be able to do the last weekend of April. DDs bday is April 30th. What do you gals think about Mother's Day weekend? Or do you really want to be with your kids that day? Just a thought.

I vote for the 13-15 of October also....for now! Any time past that and we hit my bust season at work!!

Not that I am going to be able to afford to go but a girl can dream!!

That's very sweet of you to think of me, but I seriously doubt I'd be able to join you all (even though I'll have an AP!). Don't make too much fun of me, but Kevin loves Disney too much and I could never go without him. I don't think I could leave the kiddos behind either. I know, I'm a wuss!!!

Amy :)

Oct 13-15 is good for me..........is this good for anyone else?? Are we talking about arriving Friday morning then 3 days at Disney and flying back Sunday late afternoon??
