Vicki,

I need a purple shirt too for Chuckie. That is the design that Stephanie and I are going to wear that Thursday night and I want Chuckie to match us.

I do know that I have to start getting his things ready too!!!:lmao: I have to have him wear his POTC outfit one night but the first night I want him to match us.

I'll check and see if I have an extra purple one to send you. If not, do you want me to order one when I order mine?

I can't wait to see how they look in the dark tonight. I'll post those pictures after work tonight :cool1: :cool1: I'm so excited as I LOVE THEM

Those are amazing. I'm so glad that you got them made before us so we have a local "expert" to check with when we make ours. I want night time pictures as well.

Deb,

I love them, they are fantastic. You did a really great job.

Hello all! Today is our sleeping in day. We have MNSSHP tonight, and we plan on attending EVERY minute of it!:goodvibes
Have a great time at the party! Can't wait to see photos!

Glad you're enjoying POFQ. I really enjoyed it there too-wish they had a few rooms with trundle beds there as we would definately stay there again if they did.

The ones that I like for Pal Mickey are called Style A. I get most of them from www.adollysworld.com. They have 6 colors. They are a little bigger than he really needs but I like getting them and then just rolling up the bottom. They are easier to get on over his body or head. Otherwise, you are fighting to get them on. If she doesn't have the color you need, let me know and I can get you the other site I've purchased from which had a couple more colors. She doesn't have orange so I have to search for that now so I can get one before we go if he is going to match us. Otherwise, he'll have to wear a purple shirt.
Thanks!

Bernadette- The ones for Teddy bears work but they are a tad big. My Michael's and AC Moore carries some shirts. It seems reccently they only have purple though for some reason. They used to have white, red, blue, purple, pink, yellow. If you want a Halloween design, not necessarily matching those places have Halloween sweaters.
Thanks!

Does anyone have any idea what the weather will be like? Will I need pants, light jacket or just shorts and T's? Of course I'll probably want pants here before we leave and after we come back lol
I've never needed more than shorts and T's. It can be VERY hot in October.

Those are AWESOME!!!!!!!

DH wanted to do a few things before I went on my appliance hunt. I'm off to try that now.

Hi Penny,

I am one of those people who read every post. I may not reply often, but please come back more often.

I looked at Dizpins and they just got back from a big trade so they did not have any right now. I will use them next year when Stephanie and I do the cruise/land Mouse Fest.

Well Thank You very Much. I lurk just about every day. :goodvibes But only post if I feel I have something to offer. Enjoy trading when you go to F&W in a few weeks. Take care, Penny

Thank you for the kind words Deb. I love your lights. They are awesome.

Can someone tell me how to quote more than one person in the same post?

thanks, Penny

I will keep the sign ups open until October 14th so I can get the info out to you all going to the World that week.

I think the minimum last year was $5 before shipping....unless there is some huge reason to bump it up I think that's where it's staying.

Don't forget you can have homemade here.

If you are going to multiquote, click on the multiquote button ("+) in the bottom right of the message for all the messages until the last one. It is beside the Quote button.

Deb-great lights....so cute!!!

When you are done and want to actually post, click the quote button. All those that you clicked in multiquote as well as the last one you quoted, will appear. You can then type your messages between the quotes and post like normal.

Thanks for the comments on the lights. I can't wait to come home tonight and see them On!!!

I'm off to work shortly. Have a nice evening everyone.

I think I'll take a few plain white Shirts to work and start basting the Mickey Heads on them. I need to make 11 before Christmas so I might as well use my downtime at work to get started on them. I must say my Christmas Shopping/ Crafting is going well this year. Hopefully I won't be stressing at the last minute :thumbsup2

We tie-dyed with my niece & nephew this summer. Chuck had such a good time he has been bugging me about doing it again. Maybe, I'll buy the tie dye stuff today when I go grocery shopping and buy some white shirts so I can try the Mickey ones as well. What kind of thread do you use for the basting?

Did you pick one up in CO for him??

Where can I begin to tell you all how very proud of my daughter I am? She has studied and honed her craft well this past year and it showed last night bright and clear. The entire ensemble cast, the set and lighting design, the direction and the writing were all beyond spectacular. But my daughter, the Actor, was resplendent.

Within the span of 80 minutes or so, Kristin portrayed four vastly different characters. When we entered the theater she was seated in the audience, in full makeup and costume. Just sitting there staring off into space. She did that for 35 minutes until the play opened. Her first character was a spoiled Tidewater teenager complaining about the uncomfortable seats in the theater, and imploring those of us in attendance with her to rise up and shift in our seats so her movements and the resulting squeaking and screeching would not be so obvious.

Her second entrance was as that of a child, I would think about age 5 or 6, with a completely different voice, talking about letting go of her mother's hand as they tried to escape the flames. The child's mother had made her dress for the evening and had become exasperated trying to do the final fitting, telling the child that she would just have to grow into the dress. Kristin's last line as that character was, "Never had the chance."

Next she was an older, more refined survivor of the fire, comparing the flavors of every succulent dessert imaginable to the sweet smell of fresh air when she finally got out of the theater. And finally, another survivor who described the escape of a family of pigeons from the collapsing roof, only to watch their wings catch fire and then burn and fall at her feet.

Each character had a slightly different Tidewater dialect and tone color, dependent upon the age and education of the character. I was stunned. Last night showed me that she is right where she belongs. No matter what her future holds she will be happy on the stage and that makes this mother very proud.

:woohoo: glad to hear she has turned out to be a very versatile actress.
I am glad you enjoyed the show.

Somehow I keep getting very annoying pop ups from EI & I use Firefox! I have been trying everything I can think of to fix this, but it will not stop  It is some type of a trojan/spyware. If you use EI & start getting pop ups or any thing from outerinfo, beware! Check you add/remove programs to see if this is there. I uninstalled it, but so far has done no good :sad2: I'm scared to do to much as I don't want to get rid of something that needs to stay on my computer. If I can't figure it out, I will have to take in it.
if i question something i ask my dad. he kinda knows computers. he will google the name and sometimes a website will tell you how to get rid of it.
