Here's the photos I promised...my chubby finger and beautiful ring are at the end!!

Oi vey, I am thinking in my mind this needs to be worked on and that there looks great. I think that is my mind telling me how much I truly miss Marching band. When I see pictures like that it reminds me of all the great times I had in Junior high, high school and college. Now you have me wanting to go back even more to UCF in November for Homecoming.

They are great pictures and I hope she treasures her band memories the rest of her life, like I do. Keep taking pictures I don't really have many of me performing in junior and high school and I wish I did have more.

Love the ring. Any word on the Ornament exchange?

Elin- Glad to hear the show went well and that she is truly enjoying what she is doing.:thumbsup2

Elizabeth- How is DS doing with the drums?? Sorry DH got upset you were purchasing the pins.

Penny- Good to see you around. Please feel free to stop in more often. I truly enjoy having you around.

Vicki- This lack of budget thing has been happening more often. Well at least it appears that way to me. NJ had that problem last year. We in PA had that problem this year. Why can't these politicians get there act together.

Bernadette- The ones for Teddy bears work but they are a tad big. My Michael's and AC Moore carries some shirts. It seems reccently they only have purple though for some reason. They used to have white, red, blue, purple, pink, yellow. If you want a Halloween design, not necessarily matching those places have Halloween sweaters.

I really need to actually unpack and clean. I keep mentioning it and don't get very far in actually accomplishing it.

Karen, congrats on the job. Hope everything else works out.:thumbsup2

Vicki,

It sure stinks when the state goes thru that. Pa had two days of that but I think they just made a big stink about people not being paid for days and it was taken care of in just two days. I think sometimes the government makes a bigger deal than it is.

Are you ready for the trip??? :goodvibes

Well aren't you just the nicest person. You just made my whole weekend. :cool1:
So many times you post and you wonder if anyone is reading anything you write. So thank you again and have a nice day. :hippie:
Penny

Hi Penny,

I am one of those people who read every post. I may not reply often, but please come back more often.

I looked at Dizpins and they just got back from a big trade so they did not have any right now. I will use them next year when Stephanie and I do the cruise/land Mouse Fest.

Hello all! Today is our sleeping in day. We have MNSSHP tonight, and we plan on attending EVERY minute of it!:goodvibes

Leighanna wants to swim and then get ready for tonight,

DW is going to go to DTD to shop! (Poor me, and I do mean that literally!;) )

We are having a wonderful time. Yesterday was a bit rainy, with a few bursts of thunderstorms, but since we were in Epcot, we did a lot of indoor activities.
We loved the Disney Visa meet and greet. They really played and had lots of fun with Leighanna. They even incuded my wife and I in all their shananigans!
It was Minnie, Mickey, and Goofy. Goofy is quite the character!

The F&W fest is going strong! Tons of people, long lines, and very congested in world showcase. I think that it might be because of it being the first weekend, and a lot of locals came out to party!

We took the international gateway to the boardwalk after Illuminations, and enjoyed the boardwalk very much! A magician on a bike, stopped us before the show and had Leighanna help him out. She had a great time and laughed her butt off!

I really want to stay here some time. DW likes the look of the resort, and I told her how much Anne Marie and her family love it. So, maybe next trip!

I don't have time to post pictures yet, but I will include them when we get back. For some reason photobucket and i are not coorporating!

We like POFQ. This resort is much smaller than Riverside, so we aren't walking forever to get to the food court or the pool.

Have a great day DDA! (I know that I will!;) )

Hi Tom

Glad to hear you are having a fantastic time. Cannot wait to see pictures. I really loved POFQ. Yes, that was my first real trip but I just thought it was small, quaint and I just loved our Mousekeeper, Fanny. We had such cute towel animals to come home to every night.
What building are you in?

The ones that I like for Pal Mickey are called Style A. I get most of them from www.adollysworld.com. They have 6 colors. They are a little bigger than he really needs but I like getting them and then just rolling up the bottom. They are easier to get on over his body or head. Otherwise, you are fighting to get them on. If she doesn't have the color you need, let me know and I can get you the other site I've purchased from which had a couple more colors. She doesn't have orange so I have to search for that now so I can get one before we go if he is going to match us. Otherwise, he'll have to wear a purple shirt.

Vicki,

I need a purple shirt too for Chuckie. That is the design that Stephanie and I are going to wear that Thursday night and I want Chuckie to match us.

I do know that I have to start getting his things ready too!!!:lmao: I have to have him wear his POTC outfit one night but the first night I want him to match us.

No, but we are getting ready for it today. I'm going to try to get the tees that we need so that we can make our matching tees. Do you know which of the two designs you are going to wear on Sunday? We want to match you guys so I'm going to get those done. What color tees did you use with the design?

Jennifer-I vote for the Ursula shirt too

Becky-sounds like quite the hassle with the bank..gl on that

Deb-no help on the shoes sorry.

so the kids only lost .05 pts between prelims and finals and took 11th place..sounds bad but they are already on tap to beat themselves for last year so they may actually make state finals!!:goodvibes :goodvibes Only 10 days for Regionals...this season seems to have gone fast.

:cool1: :cool1: That's good that they get better every year :cool1: :cool1:

Love the photos. The formations looked great. Love the ring too.

Good Morning DDA,

Sorry I've been MIA for a while, I've missed so many Birthdays, Anniversaries, and PD requests. I hope they were all great and that those who need a little PD are doing better.

I've been under the weather since we got back from our trip, and three weeks of breathing issues have zapped me of all my energy. I'm finally feeling a little better, but lungs are not clear yet. I'm going to try and get some cleaning done around here today, clutter is not a big issue with just the two of us home, but dust sure is.

Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Debbie

:wizard: :wizard: Feel better soon.

I did order this bag yesterday(thanks to the budget board. I really need to not look there lol)

http://www.rei.com/REI-Outlet/product/761594

I purchased the green one. Hopefully I can use this for Disney!

Nice bag. I've stopped reading any bag related posts as I seem to have way too many bags. Of course none are exactly perfect, but certainly enough.

Where can I begin to tell you all how very proud of my daughter I am? She has studied and honed her craft well this past year and it showed last night bright and clear. The entire ensemble cast, the set and lighting design, the direction and the writing were all beyond spectacular. But my daughter, the Actor, was resplendent.

Within the span of 80 minutes or so, Kristin portrayed four vastly different characters. When we entered the theater she was seated in the audience, in full makeup and costume. Just sitting there staring off into space. She did that for 35 minutes until the play opened. Her first character was a spoiled Tidewater teenager complaining about the uncomfortable seats in the theater, and imploring those of us in attendance with her to rise up and shift in our seats so her movements and the resulting squeaking and screeching would not be so obvious.

Her second entrance was as that of a child, I would think about age 5 or 6, with a completely different voice, talking about letting go of her mother's hand as they tried to escape the flames. The child's mother had made her dress for the evening and had become exasperated trying to do the final fitting, telling the child that she would just have to grow into the dress. Kristin's last line as that character was, "Never had the chance."

Next she was an older, more refined survivor of the fire, comparing the flavors of every succulent dessert imaginable to the sweet smell of fresh air when she finally got out of the theater. And finally, another survivor who described the escape of a family of pigeons from the collapsing roof, only to watch their wings catch fire and then burn and fall at her feet.

Each character had a slightly different Tidewater dialect and tone color, dependent upon the age and education of the character. I was stunned. Last night showed me that she is right where she belongs. No matter what her future holds she will be happy on the stage and that makes this mother very proud.

I could feel your pride while reading your description. I must admit I teared up and shared in your pride. Way to got Kristin and Company:cool1: :cool1:

:wave2: Hi, Penny! It is always refreshing to log on here and see a post from you. Feel free to make my day and do it more often. :goodvibes

I think that most of us read every word on this thread. Your posts are always heard even if we don't comment. It is good to see you posting again.

Well just a pop-in to say Hi.
My new transfer is working out great.
I love the new property.
I'm back to working with my old Engineer.
Only thing is now she is my Supervisor.
We make a good team & we are good friends.
Only problem is the Engineer quit.
He said there were to many women working there.
No really that's what he said.
What the H*** he knew his boss would be a woman before they hired him.

Well I have great news!!
Ramiro got his 1st progress report.
2 A's & 4 B's. :woohoo:
No C D F.
I have to admit I'm a little mad at him.
He failed last year.
Why? Because he is lazy & doesn't do the work.
He scored 4 & 5's on his FCATS.
All A's in Summer School.
I'm hoping he stays on the right track.
He has really changed his attitude.
I hope he has learned his lesson.

Well Happy Everything to everybody.
Anyone in need of prayers & pixe dust.
Sending out a large dose your way.
You all take care.
Catch ya later.

Jo,

I am so happy for you in your new job.

Tell Ramiro, I am so proud of him. He has a good head on his shoulders.

No, but we are getting ready for it today. I'm going to try to get the tees that we need so that we can make our matching tees. Do you know which of the two designs you are going to wear on Sunday? We want to match you guys so I'm going to get those done. What color tees did you use with the design?

The designs that we wore were the one F&W design with the Sphere which was on a purple shirt and the one with Mickey and Donald in tuxes we wore in like a royal blue color. I will let you know after I talk to Stephanie. I think we almost have our shirts picked out.

Does anyone have any idea what the weather will be like? Will I need pants, light jacket or just shorts and T's? Of course I'll probably want pants here before we leave and after we come back lol

Theresa,

I am sure Hal remembers band from high school. Not sure what kind of memories he had tho :rotfl:

I just love your ring, it is stunning.
Here is the ring I bought when I went to the first pow wow, it called to me too.

From what Chuck has been reading, he is thinking just shorts & tees. I will probably have pants & light jacket because I'm cold when others aren't.

I know I will wear jeans on the plane cause it is always cold. I am taking nothing but shorts and capris and T's with designs. I will take my one denim Tinkerbell jacket for the plane too. I will also be bringing my two pairs of SAS sneakers and two pairs of crocs. As long as my feet are comfortable the rest of me is too.:goodvibes

We should have Jo post the weather from there, cause I think that will be the best information we will get.

I really need to get off my butt and get some stuff done around here. I have to go grocery shopping, pick up tees for our Disney shirts, print autograph pages because I've decided I want to do this during our trip this time, start packing, clean the house, ... and who knows what else. Talk to you guys later.

Ok People...Here are the Much Anticipated Photos...
