I haven't started packing yet, but I do have my list ready!

I have started packing. I don't want to forget anything. Should I bring my computer or just take notes??? Is there a computer at the business center at the Beach Club convention center??

Have a great weekend Glynis!

Night everyone! I don't know if I'll be on much tomorrow. We're leaving in the early afternoon to meet up with Alan at my parents house. My brother's wedding is Saturday afternoon. I can't wait to show you all pictures. It should really be an EXTRAVAGANZA!!! My dad's innate sense of showmanship is really coming out, and it sounds like it will equal a Broadway production!

Good morning, DDA!

Strange, the rest of my Kohls order has shipped. Wonder why 2 different packages :confused3

Oh well, look forward to receiving them!

For the same reason Disney split my refund in 2 parts?:confused3 I hope your things from Kohl's work out!

Bernadette - I did forget your November trip! But I was thinking the photos you were missing were of Joe.

Looks like the boards crashed again last night! I fell asleep on the couch around 8:30 so I never even knew!:rotfl:

Princess has her gymnastics class this morning. DS has Open House tonight (the one they rescheduled from last week). It took him about 3 hours to do his homework last night, so they better not assign a bunch of stuff tonight knowing that the kids will be up at school. That reminds me, I don't have any cash. They will be selling hot dogs and no telling what else. I guess we'll have to stop at the ATM today.

We picked up DS's new prescription. It is the same med, just a little higher dose. I won't start him on the new med until Saturday because I want to watch him to make sure he doesn't have an adverse reaction. I also need to really get on the school about the homework because we aren't REQUIRED to medicate him. If we chose not to have him on meds then there is NO WAY he could do that homework. He doesn't get home from school until 4 PM. If he does homework until 7 PM he has 90 minutes to eat dinner and shower before he goes to bed. Repeat Mon-Thurs. Not much of a life.:sad2:

I also think they have him in a math class that is too hard. DH and I couldn't figure out his math homework! It's that "order of operations" where there is a string of stuff 8 x 3 - (2 + 1) and you have to solve the equation. One problem had a division part in it, along with other stuff but no parentheses. If you follow the "order" parentheses, exponents, multiply, divide, add, subtract you come out with a negative number. DS said they haven't covered negative numbers! I can remember learning this stuff in 7th grade and failing. DS is in 6th grade, so I am sure he is struggling to wrap his brain around these concepts.:headache: The curriculum "trickle down" is forcing younger and younger kids to try to learn these math concepts before their brains are mature enough to process them. I learned that in college in Developmental Psychology. Anyway...

Hope everybody has a good day!!:)

So, today is DH's birthday and I took him out to dinner.
:bday:

I had gone to the Disney Store last Friday and finally bought the long sleeved Tinkerbell shirt. Love it. But I was not gonna buy the skirt. Wish they had the jeans in tink style.
I saw that one on line and might get it for me.....

These are photos that we took at Winter/Summerland mini golf. I was hoping for a good one for our Christmas Card, but I don't think it worked out that way

This one is cute!

Somebody will be coming to work.... oooooohhhhh my aching back!

Anyway, I've got to finish packing suitcases and the car in the morning. I'm also babysitting my niece from the nether regions, and I've got to finish up another batch of pear butter before I leave. Guess I'll have to get up around 4 to get it all done. Better call it a night, now.

See y'all on Monday morning!!!
Have a great time!!!!

Bernadette - I did forget your November trip! But I was thinking the photos you were missing were of Joe.

The photos were of all 3 kids and I'm not sure when we'll be doing a family trip again. I didn't like POR, don't know if DH would like Pop, and don't want to pay Poly prices. Also didn't like the August crowds or heat this year. SO....I don't know what we'll do next for a family trip.

Good luck with open house!

Good morning!

Lindsay - I hope you are feeling better and have a wonderful trip! I don't know exactly when you are leaving but I'm thinking it should be soon.

So, as Hal was talking to Stephanie thanking her for the card, he remarked---He has the same equipment but it takes him all night to do what he used to do all night :lmao:

I am in so much trouble!!!!

Turtle time ??? or not?????

So, today is DH's birthday and I took him out to dinner.

We had a nice time and really enjoyed our meal.

Of course he remarked how old he is getting.:lmao:

I can remember when I met at age 15 for me and 17 for him :rotfl: :rotfl:

That was toooooo many years ago :lmao:
Happy Birthday Hal!!!

thats my choice too!
Thanks! Now its a tie between the 3.

Anne marie... I really like the one with Cinderalla. I really like the way the kids look and the greenery in the background could be garland. :goodvibes :goodvibes

I need to start taking notes. Anyway, I tried the bleaching of my teeth and ended up with thrush. My poor tongue couldn't stand the pressure and revolted.

I have started packing. I don't want to forget anything. Should I bring my computer or just take notes??? Is there a computer at the business center at the Beach Club convention center??

Okay, I'm going to bed.....:goodvibes Nitey nite!
Thanks!!

I am not sure if there is a pc at the BC but we did bring our laptop that we used in the room. I believe it was $10 per 24 hours of internet use.

I have decided to leave my laptop at home next month. I figure my family will all be with me and so will a lot of you! The ones left back here to chat can post up a storm and then one of them can give us a Reader's Digest version. :rotfl:

Anne Marie I think the design you chose will look great with a purple T. I have already bought a black tank top, so whichever design I wear will be on black.

Lindsay's ticker says 15 more hours, so I assume they leave tomorrow :cool1:

Have a wonderful time :yay:
