Good morning, DDA!
Strange, the rest of my Kohls order has shipped. Wonder why 2 different packages
Oh well, look forward to receiving them!
For the same reason Disney split my refund in 2 parts?

I hope your things from Kohl's work out!
Bernadette - I did forget your November trip! But I was thinking the photos you were missing were of Joe.
Looks like the boards crashed again last night! I fell asleep on the couch around 8:30 so I never even knew!
Princess has her gymnastics class this morning. DS has Open House tonight (the one they rescheduled from last week). It took him about 3 hours to do his homework last night, so they better not assign a bunch of stuff tonight knowing that the kids will be up at school. That reminds me, I don't have any cash. They will be selling hot dogs and no telling what else. I guess we'll have to stop at the ATM today.
We picked up DS's new prescription. It is the same med, just a little higher dose. I won't start him on the new med until Saturday because I want to watch him to make sure he doesn't have an adverse reaction. I also need to really get on the school about the homework because we aren't REQUIRED to medicate him. If we chose not to have him on meds then there is NO WAY he could do that homework. He doesn't get home from school until 4 PM. If he does homework until 7 PM he has 90 minutes to eat dinner and shower before he goes to bed. Repeat Mon-Thurs. Not much of a life.
I also think they have him in a math class that is too hard. DH and I couldn't figure out his math homework! It's that "order of operations" where there is a string of stuff 8 x 3 - (2 + 1) and you have to solve the equation. One problem had a division part in it, along with other stuff but no parentheses. If you follow the "order" parentheses, exponents, multiply, divide, add, subtract you come out with a negative number. DS said they haven't covered negative numbers! I can remember learning this stuff in 7th grade and failing. DS is in 6th grade, so I am sure he is struggling to wrap his brain around these concepts.

The curriculum "trickle down" is forcing younger and younger kids to try to learn these math concepts before their brains are mature enough to process them. I learned that in college in Developmental Psychology. Anyway...
Hope everybody has a good day!!
