Good morning!

Deb - to answer your question about attire....I will probably wear shorts and tops the whole week. For MNSSHP it'll prob. be a tank or fitted tee. If we do PI, the most you'll get out of me is a skort, top and sandals.

For the October trip I plan on wearing shorts, t-shirts & tank tops. I will probably bring a couple extra tops for a night out. Nothing to fancy for me :thumbsup2 I was just thinking last night, I need to start making a packing list :yay:

37 more days :dance3:

I am in the double digits now for our Dec. trip as well :cool1:

Deb,
I will be in tee's & shorts. :)
Did we decide on a design that we are all going to wear?

I thought I'd quote it all together to make it easier to follow :rotfl: I don't think that a group design was decided on. Chris and I have quite a few matching t-shirt already :thumbsup2 Chris wants to wear polo shirts with shorts this trip, but if it is really hot I know that he'll change his mind and want lighter t-shirts. I guess I'll have to wait on the weather reports the week of the trip to decided what to pack. We will be in pants and jackets here by then so I'm guessing that will be our plane attire.

sounds like another productive day at the Brooks' house! Can't wait to see pictures of your camping weekend!

I can't wait to see photos of our weekend either. I have a lot to do between now and then and most of it is cooking which I can't start until Wednesday at the earliest.

Monsoon, anyone?

It is POURING. Poor DS got drenched going into school. I felt so bad for him! He is so little and he was scurrying along with his big backpack and lunchbox. It was one of those times where my heart twisted in my chest. I am just not loving the whole concept of middle school. He didn't even have that far to walk - I dropped him off at the curb as close to the door as I could.

I managed to get to work without being run over by an ambulance. This is really not the morning to require emergency assistance because they couldn't get through the traffic!

I found a little windbreaker for Princess to wear to school, got her all loaded into the car and dropped off at her classroom. I was soaked by the time I made it back to the car. Jumping into the pool would have been a less soggy endeavor, I think! Poor Princess was not impressed that I was leaving her there. I hope she settles down and has a good day.

I came back and tossed my jacket in the dryer. My shorts will just have to dry on their own, unless I go put on the shorts I usually wear over my swimsuit and put these in to dry. I noticed that water was leaking into the playroom under the door! I put some towels down, called Momboss, and now I am catching my breath.:upsidedow

That is just insane. I guess they don't need lifeguards as there would be no way to tell if anyone is drowning anyway :rotfl2: I would never get into that pool.

Ick! Too many bodies all crammed together!:scared: Why on earth do they allow innertubes in there? That seems to be half of the problem!

My morning is off to a bustling start. I'm on my second load of laundry and I've played trains and go fish. I even managed a shower somewhere in there :lmao:

We're off to school to pick up Logan. i need to put stuff out in the camper, but the grass is too wet still, I don't want to track into the camper. I wish the sun would peek out for a little while.

I just checked the weather for this weekend. It is going to be cold all weekend and there is a chance of showers on Saturday. The predicted high for Saturday is only 58 degrees. I guess we won't be needing shorts or bathing suits :scared1: Maybe I'll dig out the rain gear and winter jackets. I bet it could be cold sitting by the campfire on Saturday night. I just hope that it doesn't rain during trick or treat time. The kids would be really disappointed.

ok i think i've gotten caught up now lol
Ann Marie, Tammi, Elin, Janet- thank you . Yes the first
ohh 3 weeks he was playing it up as much as he could well more so that 3rd week i think the first 2 weeks he genuinely was in alot of pain and then towards the end of the 3rd week he realized .. " hey i can actually stand up on this thing and doesn't hurt too bad". since thursday he's basically been walking everywhere on his own with it the only thing he has a hard time with is steps so .. we're apparently getting better lol ..

Karen, I hope you figure something out. The fact that
you're not comfortable with this person should be enough
of a reason to find someone else. I mean this person is in
your home and if them being there is not comfortable then
basically you're not comfortable in your own home.. NOT a
good thing .. Put a call into the agency and at least talk
with someone about what your options are. Good Luck I hope you can get someone you're comfortable with.

Ann Marie- What great pictures .

Tammi I loved the Alice in wonderland costumes.. too cute.
Way to go Nick on the game and your Goal !!

Theresa - Congrats on featured writer !! way to go . Also
thoughts and Prayers for Bill.
Sorry about you fall, I hope you're feeling better from it now.

Tom- nice play on words there Mr. Hancock Fabrics lol I got a good chuckle out of that one .

Heidi, Thoughts and Prayers for your mom I hope any and all test results come back negative. Try not to stress too much during the waiting period, it can be the worst part of everything.
Can you move in with me? where on earth do you get that much energy first thing in the moring , laundry, cleaning and making cinnamon strudel muffins all before 9:30 am ?? Enjoy your new TV. you can bring
it with you when you move in :D

Janet, good luck finding your shorts. I hope they're an esy find and you don't have to stress too much. No one should stress about DISNEY !!
I'm soo sorry about your day with the vet, the dealership and the problem still not being fixed. If you wrote a check for the work done, call your bank and you can put a stop payment on it. you might be charged some for doing
this but a little is better then $520. for work that obviously wasn't done. I hope they figure things out and fast.

Elin- thoughts and prayers heading to P.....my neighbors. I hope your MIL's recovery time is short.

Elizabeth I'm glad ya's had a good time at the party, Sorry about DS's run in with the glass. I hope there wasn't alot of bruising. I've yet to do that with our glass door but I have just about taken the screen door off of it's tracks
with my face.

Lindsay- I'm sorry Jonathan's cold found it's way to you I hope you're feeling better before you leave fri. YAY for having your Doggy back. and glad your Longhorns won. I personally could hear my girlfriend in NJ screaming about the game all the way over here in PA LOL
Good Job showing your mom's friends the ins-and-outs. Good call on the hourly rate lol

Jen Hugs to you. I hope you had a good football day.. I still can't believe the eagles are doing this bad .. i mean come on ... they lost to greenbay uggghhh.
Get as much QUALITY time as you can with your grandfather.:grouphug:

Steffy I hear ya on the eagles game .. I just put my head down .. were you by any chance at the Briton Lake shopping center ? :P or that's just a coinkydink that they're side by side in that shopping center as well lol

Jennifer- Have a great trip !!!

Have a Great Monday Everyone !!

i knew i was gonna forget to jot something down .. Deb- YAY for finishing the costumes!! I can't wait to see pictures .. I think we're gonna end up doing our own lil pirates and princess party here at home this year .. RJ's settled on being a pirate for sure this time ... ( so he tells me ) and M&M wants to be a Princess .. then again she tells me everyday she's a princess .. oh if you haven't seen it yet ... RV with robin williams'.... too funny just think of all the stuff that a new camper would do or wouldn't know and they touch everything .. even the kids loved it ..

RV is a great movie. We all enjoyed it.

:cool1: :cool1: On the ME tags. It seems that things are coming together :cool1: :cool1:

Laundry is done and...gasp...put away. The boards being so quiet leaves me no excuse but to do housework. It's all your fault:mad: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

How many October trippers have the tie dye Mickey shirts? I'm thinking that most of us might. If we wanted to do matching shirts that might be an option.

It is quiet.

I ironed a couple of Princess's outfits, the dishwasher is going, and I have a little load of laundry in the dryer. I also found the platter of leftover desserts from the party.:rolleyes1

I haven't gotten a reply from my friend since I e-mailed him that I changed to AKL. I don't know if he is mad, or if he is trying to change his ressie, too. I guess we'll find out!

Thank you, Heather

As for where do I get my energy? I am a morning person through and through. Though I can pull an all nighter if need be.

Heidi, Thoughts and Prayers for your mom I hope any and all test results come back negative. Try not to stress too much during the waiting period, it can be the worst part of everything.

I just heard back from my friend. He talked to the AAA agent and she told him she didn't link the ressies. I didn't think they were linked since she didn't make mine! So they are going to remain at Pop. He did ask me if they should make their own dining ressies. I think he doesn't understand about ADRs. I HAVE ADRs for all 5 of us, and I checked this morning to make sure all the fiddling hadn't messed up my dining. I did tell him last month to make an ADR for dinner Wednesday night because they arrive WAAAY earlier in the day than we do, so he booked Brown Derby. He gets very fidgety about the ADRs and the Dining Plan (which they didn't buy) and I'm not sure what it is that confuses him. The DDP in no way figures into ANY of this. They don't need to make ADRs simply because I changed hotels. Anyway, hopefully this will work out and not require any additional drama.:thumbsup2
