Tonght was a good night--i babysat and made 75 bucks not too bad!!

FOOOTBALL time tomorrow (well really today ) I cant wait!!

My grandparents will be here on Tuesday as their power will be shut off for the day due to new construction--They will be here all day--of course, i work til 5 then i have back to school night at 630...but my mom asked me to come home between--20 min drive...when i asked her why, she said that gpa is looking worse and worse everytime she sees him--and she left it at that..so not likng the sound of that

Janet, I would be furious about the truck! I would absolutely tell them you want it fixed immediately or they need to refund your money so you can take it somewhere to have it fixed properly!

Good luck with the truck issue. Unfortunately the only way to correct some problems is to fix one thing then move on. It could get quite pricey. What was the initial complaint? Chris said if it were a Toyota problem he could give you advice, but not so much on a Jimmy, but he'll try.

I was just looking at www.odpt.com at all of the upcoming pin releases. There are some CUTE pins! Also, one of the girls who went to the HUGE pin event at WDW this weekend posted pics of the 2008 cast lanyard/Hidden Mickey pins on the Dizpin boards and they are AWESOME. I can't wait! But now I need lots and lots and LOTS of traders!

They are having another HUGE pin event May 3 at AK. I may have to see if I can make it to that since October is looking less likely for me. But registration is limited for those, so I guess it would depend on whether or not I can get a spot. Something to think about.

OK, I am sort of organized now. Paid a couple of bills, found some cash to pay for DS's band shirt (which is to be paid by cash or money order ONLY ), addressed a couple of birthday cards (one which is 2 weeks late), pulled together some photos to give to ExMomboss.

I dropped off 4 disposable cameras at Sam's the other day. $36 later we have about 15 photos worth keeping. I think I am going to suspend DS's camera privileges, or make him pay for his own processing! We had a bunch of disposables left from WDW, and I didn't want to keep flying back and forth with them because the x-rays make the film foggy. So DS used them on field trips and whatever. Mostly "whatever". I also realized we didn't have a single photo of the 5th grade camping trip. Lo and behold, that camera was still in DS's room! I guess I can drop it off when I go to pick up the prints from the Disney trip. I got them all edited and burned them to a CD, then I took the CD to Sam's to order prints. I am quite impressed with myself!

Just got back from a liquor run. What to my surprise, right next to it is a Maggie Moos

So for lunch Stephanie and I can hit Panera Bread and then next door for some Maggie Moos.

I am getting so excited cause in 38 days we will be in WDW

CRO REALLY irritates me.

We're booked for 12/12 - 12/16 on a AAA rate. Online I find 12/11 - 12/16 on a Passholder rate, along with a $20 Dining Card. I call to book it. Nope. Can't book it, no availability. It's ONLINE as available! Nope, can't do it. Fine.

I hang up, book it online, call back. Need to cancel original, modify new one to remove one night, verify Dining Card. No Dining Card. Can't remove one night. I tell her to leave it as 5 nights and figure out the Dining Card because online it SAYS you can call OR click "book now" for the Dining Card. We disagree about which code it needs to be. She goes to call Guest Services. After nearly 40 minutes of mostly hold time she adds the card but she is adamant that I can't take off one night. Whatever.

I tell her to cancel the original Dec. ressie AND cancel October because there is no way I am going to be able to make that work. So she cancels them, but she's not happy about it. Heh heh.

So. I still have to call back and get one night taken off, and now my ME ressies are screwed up, too. IF I can get one night taken off we will save $50 over the original ressie (AP rate + Dining Card). If not then I have just completely trashed our December ressie! I would be fine with moving to another resort, but let's remember that our friends are coming along and they (well, one of them) will come unglued if I switch to another resort. Drama, drama...

It says 2 night minimum. I went back and looked after I got off the phone with them. It says 2 nights, between these certain dates, call and give them the code FEM or book online. That's what I did and it didn't add the dining card. If people booked online thinking it was included then Disney is going to have some hopping mad AP holders checking in.

Ellen-my SIL gave me a 30 GB video ipod for Christmas. I was a bit at a loss of where to begin with it and it came with a little piece of paper as the instructions. I finally find the web site link for the real manual on that piece of paper and downloaded the 75 user manual. It really is SO cool! I loaded a bunch of music, purchased a few TV shows for the kids and even a movie, added a few (50 or so) favorite photos. Only used 3 of the 30 GB even with a full length movie. The video quality is outstanding! Joe really loved watching a show on it at night in the room or on the plane. I honestly don't think I would think it was as cool without some sort of screen to find the music. You can search by type, album, artist, title. Didn't Apple just come out with a new ipod with a bigger screen that is cheaper than the one my SIL gave me?

OMG.....me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came into work today to get a few things done. I finished one project and thought I'll just call CRO quickly and get the AAA discount applied to my Jan room. The first gal I spoke to insisted AAA wasn't out for 08 even when I asked her at least 3 times and told her my "friends" had a room only AAA. So I had her change 2 ADR's for November that I'm hoping Terry will join us at so we needed 6 not 4. She kept getting the dates wrong and just messing up and kept blaiming her computer.

So I call back and the girl asked me for my reservation # and the one I gave her was from my May 07 trip. I had just used that color coded matrix of fun and forgot to update it with the correct reservation number. My confirmation is at home so I don't have it but she says she can find it for me. After about 30 minutes on hold she tells me how sorry she is and that she found my reservation but she can't touch it-her computer isn't working but she gives me the #.

So I make call #3 and that person can't help me-her computer is frozen. She puts me on hold and 10 minutes later someone answers the phone like I just called. I tell her what is going on and she puts me on hold and comes back a while later saying AAA is available-5 nights for $369. She takes my AAA # and puts me on hold again. Comes back on after a while and says I'm all set. I asked if I could verify my DME arrangements and she says she couldn't actually open my reservation either-she was having someone else do it. She says I should try back another day.

Well....at least I got my AAA rate. I don't think AP will be much better. I think I will call back in a few days to verify.

AND....every time I called the opening prompts were different. One time the "guy" asked me to tell him what I wanted and then still went into the "to make a new resort reservation press 1....."

I was annoyed with this offer too. I will be there 11/8 to 11/13. If I checked in 11/11 I could get the $20 card. I tried to tell them I would be there for 2 nights-11/11 & 11/12 but they said I had to check in on 11/11 so I'd need a seperate reservation. I didn't think it was worth the hassle of going to the front desk for $20 let alone the RISK that we may be asked to move.
