Brrrrr! We are suppose to have record highs this weekend, I am so not looking forward to cold weather.

on ds grades!

I did finally log in to see his grades last night. It's a pretty neat system! He has all A's except for math, which is a C. I really don't think honors math is a good thing, but I think as long as he is passing that's where they will leave him.

Princess wants to go see Arabella today, so I guess we'll stop in on the way to Sam's. Fridays we don't really HAVE to go anywhere or do anything, so right now we are just hanging out and she is playing with her toys.

The kids are watching a movie so I was over on the cruise board looking at posts on the DCL. I have alot to learn!!! We decided on driving down for a few reasons. One, the fares are so high Passover week from NY, & two it would be convinient to have our own car when going to the port & from the port to Disneyworld. Thats less $ I have to save up for a hired car or shuttle. Another plus to driving would be the packing aspect. I am going to pack suitcases just for the cruise. Another suitcase just for WDW that I can leave in the car & not have to drag onto the ship. Right now we are booked 2 rooms at Pop, but I hope a good AP rate comes out for deluxe & maybe we can switch to Poly or CR. Our April trip may be the only one for 2008. With Daniels school & just day to day bills & expenses (& the rising cost of a disney vacation) we may not be able to go in August, which is fine (ok not fine but you know what I mean!) since we are going in April. We have never been to the F&G festival so I am looking forward to that.

for a SW ding!

So I spent the morning wondering if I could add a day to the October trip. Pop has availablity, the car rental would be less than $20 more, but the airfare would be an extra $100 each Then Chris would need another day off and we would want MNSSHP tickets. By the end the trip would cost us at least double what it is now. I guess I will just have to be happy with 2 days. Of course SW could give us a DING, but that is highly unlikely. Bummer

Hi, Glynis. Actually he's not doing well at all and has missed school all week. He was in the hospital on Wednesday. He's having horrible stomach pains, swollen and distended abdomen, and his belly is completely filled with air. They have no idea why, so we're treating it symptomatically and one thing at a time. What we have been trying since the hospital Wed didn't work, and he ended back there again today. So now we try something else until Monday. I have no idea when he'll be back at school. Sorry to be such a downer, but it's been a long week. We were so upset to cancel our WDW trip for last week because of his health and money, but now we totally see it was for the best.

I just bit the bullet and ordered a pair of crocs mary janes. I hope that since they are narrower they will give me better support. I need a shoe to wear with jeans and they seem pretty cute. I guess time will tell.

Hate to post and run, but Alan is surprising me by taking me out! We're heading to IKEA to look at bunkbeds for the twins, and an entertainment center. We'll have dinner at the cafe, there, and then take in a movie. Probably see Harry Potter 5 again! There doesn't seem to be anything else that we can agree on!

jen i got you a few shot glasses from a store here. i will try and send them to ya next week.

this week was hectic. i had scheduled 5 interviews and only 2 showed up. i am going to hire one to be my night attendant and ask the other to be a back up and maybe work every so often. i trained with my boss today on what i am to say when i call people. he said i did good but i need to train one more day with his wife and i should be good to go by then. so by next Friday i will start working
