:rotfl: well, AFTER Baby Lucy is born. And I am thinking the Inner Harbor would be a great place for a DDA meet! What do the rest of you think? We could go one late summer or early fall weekend.

I love the Inner Harbor! I haven't been there since Miles was a baby. Maybe the date will work out for me, too. Though it's a little far.

Good Morning All!!!

It's raining here. I think I'll start my day with a to do list and see how much I can manage to get done. I think I might be motivated this morning. We'll see.

Good morning DDA

Deb & Jen - My cousins live in Springfield, MA. We are there usually once a summer for a week around the 4th of July. Except of course this year. We are thinking of going up for a weekend in August. If it pans out, maybe we can work out a meet. Jen, you must only be about 2 hrs from me as it takes us about 7 hrs to get to Springfield.

Jen - It sounds like you had a great weekend.

Deb - Enjoy your days off.

Terry - Sorry your day didn't pan out the way you wanted.

Elizabeth - Hope you get your DD fix soon. We have one right at the entrance to our neighborhood. Good for that quick cuppa but bad for the waistline.

Becky - Good luck on the interview. Make sure you take your meds young lady!! Definetely after Lucy makes her arrival!!

Chanon - Like Elin said, it will all be worth it once your house is freshly painted. Sorry to hear about Bob's great aunt. Safe travels.

Theresa - Glad Cassidy found her HSM shirt!

I know I'm missing some 's and :wizard: all around.

AB is the only seciton of POR that has the trundle beds to sleep 5, so I think that is your only option, Kelli. Right?

That is why we have only stayed in AB.

I asked my family last night about their memories of the buses to make sure that I wasn't only remembering the good times. They also said that every bus we boarded in the morning was either empty or practically empty when it came to our stop, and we never waited for more than 5-10 minutes. The buses did get very full but they weren't horrible. We always left early enough to be at the parks at opening. Matthew did come to MK late one morning, though, and he also had no problem getting the bus.

Leaving the parks at night, there were often long lines for the POR buses, but the buses came more frequently than you would expect, so the wait wasn't long. One night we left Epcot right after IllumiNations. When we made it out to the bus stops, POR was the only one with a long, long line. I thought we were going to be there for at least an hour. There was a man on a handheld radio calling for buses, and we were on a bus and headed back to POR within 15 minutes.

I have heard the horror stories, and I'm sure that those people were also telling the truth, but we had a great experience with the buses in August 2006.

I don't have as many POR photos as I thought I did. The one album is the day that we left, so that is all POR. The other one, you'll have to wade through all my AK photos and some Epcot photos before you get to a POR section in the middle. You shouldn't have to sign in to see them. Just click on the first photo to get started.

I hope this works!

Good morning :)

Beth great pictures, thanks for sharing!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning, DDA!

Wow! I REALLY miss having Monday mornings off! And since I will be doing "orientations" with my new job in the mornings next week I won't have any more mornings off!:guilty: What happened to my lovely summer with mornings off?! UGH! Well, I am going to love my new job, so I will just have to adjust to no mornings off.

As delightful as a Dunkin' Donuts would be I suppose I should be glad there ISN'T one close to us! I have finally managed to get away from my Starbucks habit - the last thng I need is a donut habit! When I was pregnant I had glazed donut holes and chocolate milk several times a week. To this day DS refuses to drink chocolate milk!:rotfl:

OOOOOOOOH! Wouldn't that be fun?!? Let's hope it works out that you could come, Beth! :goodvibes

Thanks for sharing your pictures of POR, Beth. I have some that look exactly the same! :)

o wow--didnt realize i was close to so many people haha

Goodnight, Tammi. Thanks for your further thoughts on the stroller. This is all a decision the parents get to make - I'm just the bearer of info.! ;)

I have spent most of the night reading the 50+ page thread on the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique until my eyes have crossed. I think my nieces are going to do this in Dec. before a late breakfast at CRT (if I can get those darn reservations  ). Did Alyssa get the Disney Diva style?
Well I hope whatever they decide on the stroller makes them happy. There are pros and cons to them all, so it's just a matter of prioritizing, I suppose.

As far as the BBB goes, we had a 9AM appt. and an ADR at CRT for 12 noon. Be aware (and I did not know this) that buses do not start running for DTD until 10:30 I believe. Luckily the driver of the TL bus said he would take us since he didn't have any other riders. I'm not sure what the official name of the style is that Alyssa got. It was the one with the extensions. She didn't want the plain bun one, since that was nothing different than how she has to wear her hair for ballet. Here are a few pictures:

I think you will be successful in getting your CRT ADR. The past 2 trips when I've called at my 180+10 day they didn't have availability. But when I called back on my 180 day I was able to get them. Good luck!

I'm in! :thumbsup2

For what it is worth... POR is our favorite moderate resort.

We never had a long wait for busses at POR. Maybe it is because we always stay at Alligator Bayou in one of the buildings near the main bus stop and just walked over to that stop every time we used the busses. When we came back to the room we would sometimes get off at that stop or stay on the bus around the loop to our own stop. We actually felt the wait for busses at POP was worse! :)

AB is the only seciton of POR that has the trundle beds to sleep 5, so I think that is your only option, Kelli. Right?

Thanks, Elin! Well, it will only be Craig & I, so we won't need the trundle. Well, unless he gets cranky and I kick him out of bed. :lmao:

No trouble with the buses.
Always Alligator Bayou, building 14 or 18, close to everything.

Great news!!

Kelli, we stayed at POR February of 2006, and had no problem with the busses at all!

I have a lot of pictures of the resort too! If you would like to see more, just let me know!

We stayed in the mansion section, it was very nice, and we were fairly close to a bus stop, and didn't have to wait long for a bus at all.

I would love to see more pics of the resort! You guys are awesome!

That is why we have only stayed in AB.

I'm hoping that since we'll be in "off" season, that the buses will be fine. :)

I have to run to work now, but I can't wait to look at them later. Thanks so much!!

Oh my goodness. What a beautiful princess:

So I need so good wishes to relax. I am so worked up and not sure over what exactly. Perhaps it is the pouring rain, and the 45 minute drive to the interview, or perhaps the interview itself or the fact I never got a confirmation email about the time of the interview, or perhaps the fact I don't feel well. I am off to call the interviewer to confirm.

I know I can do well, I currently just feel very blah.

ETA: I called the interviewer she was so apologetic, as she thought she sent me a response email. At least that is one thing off my list of worries.

Here are some pictures from this weekend :

This is at the starting line of the 25 mile ride, which is where my brother was --the family of the little girl that it is dedicated to was cutting the ribbon

You can do it, Becky. Go girl!! Good luck! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:
