Lindsay - Park Blvd. and Coit Rd.? Is there really a Dunkin' Donuts there? I've gone east from the Tollway on Plano Parkway and also on Parker, but not on Park that I can remember. Hmm.

I'm not certain - I'll have to drive that way and check. I usually only go to the shops down near the intersection of Park and Preston, and usually head down Preston to get there. I will have to ask Jonathan, as he drives more around our area of town than I do.

Lindsay- I am glad you called 911. Also happy Jonathan or Jonathon?? is OK. So which way is it spelled?? Perhaps you should get him a Camelback so he can keep water on him at all times. They are also great for WDW.:thumbsup2 Glad you got your ADR's worked out. I gotta call on the 10th at 3am for excursions and Palo for my cruise.

It's Jonathan - don't worry, the hospital spelled it wrong, too - even with his driver's license and insurance card in front of them. :rotfl:

Yuck, 3 a.m. - I guess I get to look forward to doing that in a few months, too. ;)

Goodnight ladies. I'm going to bed too.

Goodnight, Tammi. Thanks for your further thoughts on the stroller. This is all a decision the parents get to make - I'm just the bearer of info.! ;)

I have spent most of the night reading the 50+ page thread on the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique until my eyes have crossed. I think my nieces are going to do this in Dec. before a late breakfast at CRT (if I can get those darn reservations  ). Did Alyssa get the Disney Diva style?

Elin-thanks for the Kohl's hint....there was one HSM tshirt in Cassidy's size and with the awesome sale....BOGO free on all tops we got something for Abi and than because my shirts were ALOT more expensive I got 2 tanks for myself (seperate check!!)

:thumbsup2 :yay: :thumbsup2

You're going to have to let me know how you like POR. When "pricing" out the package using 2007 dates so we could get a ballpark figure, one of the options was POR. We looked at it and later Craig said, POR looks nice. So, we're seriously considering it instead of a value. :cool1:

For what it is worth... POR is our favorite moderate resort.

When and where??:confused3

:rotfl: well, AFTER Baby Lucy is born. And I am thinking the Inner Harbor would be a great place for a DDA meet! What do the rest of you think? We could go one late summer or early fall weekend.

Well i am home and exhausted..heres a mini report of the weekend....
We were cold and freezing and wet but it was another amazing experience. im so glad we went and got to see her family again..very emotional, but i expected it.. I will share some pictures with you guys as soon as i get them uploaded. Im so proud of my brother for doing the ride and know it was hard for him . Thanks for letting me share with you!

I am glad it was such a good weekend for you, Jen.

I am actually nervous about staying at POR. Lasts year we had another couple with us so we had 2 rooms. This year its just the 5 of us and I didn't want to pay for a deluxe resort. I'm really worried about the buses. At POFQ we were always first picked up so we nearly always got a seat and we ALWAYS got on the bus. Often the bus was full after a stop or 2 at POR. And we were always the first one off the bus so even if we didn't get a seat on the way home we had the shortest ride.

I've heard that about the buses at POR. POP may be a better option just for that reason.

I would love to see pictures!!

We never had a long wait for busses at POR. Maybe it is because we always stay at Alligator Bayou in one of the buildings near the main bus stop and just walked over to that stop every time we used the busses. When we came back to the room we would sometimes get off at that stop or stay on the bus around the loop to our own stop. We actually felt the wait for busses at POP was worse! :)

Evening everyone! It's been busy around here over the weekend so forgive me for not keeping up with everything but definately grab some :grouphug: and :wizard: for those that need it!!!

Mom's coming home on Wednesday - which means this weekend was spent cleaning the house from top to bottom. She will be painting our living room/dining room/hallway/computer room while she's here for three days - so everything had to be moved, dusted, swept, washed, you name it we did it. NEVER AGAIN. I'll be sure to take some before and after pics for you guys! (Heck, I should do that now while my house is still clean! :rotfl: )

Bob's grandfathers sister (I think that makes her his Great Aunt...) passed away over the weekend. She had been ill and in and out of a coma for a few weeks now. He'll be leaving Monday night for Detroit for the funeral.

Well my :laundy: is done - off to go switch out a another load of clothes!

I hope everyone has a great evening!!!!

You were a busy girl this weekend, Chanon! But think how wonderful your house is going to look by next weekend! I am so sorry to hear that Bob has to go to Detroit for a funeral for his Great Aunt. That is very sad.

Jen. Springfield, MA is only about 1 1/2 hours from us. That is where we go to Six Flags. Next year we'll have to meet you down there. If I'd only known.

One of Kristin's online friends lives in Springfield and works at Six Flags there. What a small world!

We survived the BUSY weekend :cool1: :cool1: I'm pretty much exhausted. As it stands now I will have Tomorrow night and Tuesday night off. I need to recooperate. I do need to grocery shop tomorrow night and Nick has his orthodonic consultation on Tuesday night. At least it's not work :goodvibes

Glad you survived the weekend, Deb. Here is hoping for a great day of recuperation and no work! :thumbsup2

Did you have problems with the buses? Did you stay in the Mansions or Alligator Bayou? I'm thinking we'd like AB better just by the decor

AB is the only seciton of POR that has the trundle beds to sleep 5, so I think that is your only option, Kelli. Right?

Happy Birthday, June...

No trouble with the buses.
Always Alligator Bayou, building 14 or 18, close to everything.

Kelli, we stayed at POR February of 2006, and had no problem with the busses at all!

I have a lot of pictures of the resort too! If you would like to see more, just let me know!

We stayed in the mansion section, it was very nice, and we were fairly close to a bus stop, and didn't have to wait long for a bus at all.
