Watching the Eurovision Song Contest at sea?

This may seem very odd -

But does anyone recall if the TV stations in the room show the Eurovision Song Contest, or if its played anywhere around the ship?
Its a big deal for us and we will be on the EBTA next May when the show is on.

No and no, unfortunately.

I'm almost 100% sure they showed it on the transatlantic in 2023. We had never heard of it but people were watching it someplace on the ship. It was a big deal and there was lots of chatter on board about it.

I’d be surprised. Hard enough to watch it in the States - but it’s big in Europe. Have you seen the parody film with Will Farrell? It’s on Peacock which is an NBC affiliate. Disney is ABC.

We will be on the EBTA and when its on we will actually be between ports of Spain and Portugal, so well and truly in Europe!

I have seen the movie and i LOVE it. It is hilarious! x

As you will be on The Dream, the most likely place will be Pub 687 as they have a tv screen.

Yes they do show the finals we even had a watchparty where we shared snacks on the past EBTA!

Wow, maybe I will sign up for that cruise JUST to watch! This was my first Eurovision experience. I was living in Switzerland and it was mostly in English. His name is Johnny Logan, Ireland, 1980. Sigh! I have to say that I preferred the SONG being more important than the costumes and theatrics, which is how Will Farrell got to 'play' in that movie!
