Congratulations! Hope you're loving your Sienna! We got a new mini van, a Toyota Sienna, last night.![]()
Loved your trip report. Thanks for the postcard. They turned out great!
I brought a rose in Dec and again in May. I'll do it again in August too.So I have been thinking of June a lot these past few days, I never met her, but she is in my mind for some reason. Say do you all still take purple roses to the Goofy bench?
Hope all is well with everyone today.

Love your picture Glynis!I did in January!

I left the rose there, and later that day, as we were leaving, we saw other people sitting on the bench, holding the rose for their picture, too. Pretty cool, huh?
That happened to me in December too. I saw the people after me holding the rose.
That is SO cool!!!For all the birthdays I missed please click on the link and happy late birthday.

Does anyone know how to download that? I would LOVE to play that for Joe on his 7th birthday at WDW.
WOW! Congrats to Kristin!I am also crowing tonight, as Kristin's second semester grades were posted and she has another set of A's. That makes the 4th semester in a row that she has gotten straight A's and her GPA is 3.79 right now. I am delighted with her, to say the least!![]()

Congrats to Abi!!It's a little strange to say I have a 6th grader. A friend of mine(about the same age)was lamenting that her oldest is now 5 and going into kindergarten in the fall.My oldest is officially a sophmore. My youngest got A's except in PE and Music...We also got her MAPS scores (have no idea what MAPS means but it has replaced the Iowa tests) and she is part of the curve that make average kids curse.
I am dreading Cassidy's grades...I am also dreading paying fees for 2 kids in secondary ed.

Hunter has a rough draft of a book report due tomorrow. He's known about it for weeks and had told us that he was working on it at school. Of course he didn't bring any of it home until last night and he showed it to me after the concert. I knew then that he was going to have trouble getting it done. He is such a slow writer. So he came home at 3 today and started in. I had typed what he had written prior to today into my laptop last night. He had missed including the setting in his opening paragraph which was a requirement. That meant that he needed to rewrite the whole thingI figured that if I type it and print it out it would be easier for him to rewrite it from type rather than his handwriting. Well he had no time to work on it at school today. I ended up taking him and the laptop to work tonight. I worked with him for an hour then Chris picked him up. I told Chris to work with him, but apparently he thought the lawn was more important and that Hunter could work independently. I got home at 9:30 and Hunter had managed to write a whopping 12 sentences in 3 hours
Chris had stopped him from finishing and started him on rewriting. The last couple of paragraphs were so much less informative then the rest of the paper. I ended up having him retell the important stuff to me and I finished typing it. by then it was 10:30 and I was not having him rewrite it. She will have to accept the typed format for the rough draft. I think 7 hours on a 3rd grade rough draft book report is more than enough. We will see what the teacher has to say tomorrow. It is all Hunter's words, just not in his handwriting. He even typed some of it himself which explained why it took him 3 hours to write 12 sentences. So needless to say I'm one frustrated mom tonight.

Hope it all went well for Hunter.
Those are great ideas!!!!I have a friend who is graduating from Seminary soon and her first church assignment is Billings....our old stomping grounds!! I was so excited for her because it will be HER church, she is going in as senior pastor, she gives a great sermon.
Her oldest graduated from Littleton today and has been accepted into the Coast Guard Academy.
They are having a blow out party on Sunday. I had the hardest time deciding what to give either one of them for presents. I found the Kermit autobiography that just screamed Sara Jane (the daughter). Then yesterday I had a brilliant idea (they don't happen very often lately) and called our favorite restaurant in Billings and they are sending a GC.The owner even called me back. I am also thinking of giving her a Heppner Guide to Billings...what do you all think??
Congrats on the DVD!So I spent the afternoon converting all of my WDW video to DVD, edited out some of the goofs, put in titles, etc. It came out to about 35 minutes in length. Most of it is the kids with characters, Chef Mickey's napking twirling, CRT, BBB, the talking trash can, FOTLK, and so on. I showed it to Bob tonight. Seems I have my work cut out converting him to a WDW fan. His response to the character stuff...."why spend all that time waiting in line when you could be riding???"![]()
My friend that I went with a few weeks ago is a ride gal. She doesn't care for Epcot because she doesn't love Mission Space and Test Track isn't a big enough thrill for her. She says she'd rather go to real places than World Showcase. I love the World Showcase. Thankfully my kids enjoy Epcot too.
