Hi, all! Sorry that I haven't been around. It is getting to be crazy again, and one of our computers stopped working entirely. That means a family of 5 computer geeks on one computer! :scared1:

I have been busy doing stuff like this.

Beth

Beth, those look wonderful!! What a thoughtful gift. Wonder if I could get something like that together for Stephanie's teacher.

my day sucked. i got a call at 8 this morning from my visa check card company to verify some charges. well at that time someone had charged $1300 to my account. had to cancel card and call bank. bank said go make police report then come in within 24-48 hours of making report. went made report then to bank. by 1 pm the total spent was $3319.42. charges were to 3 different websites overseas. ugh!

UGH Karen! At least the bank was on top of it. Craig's debit # got stolen once and there were 2 charges to China or somewhere. Luckily our bank gave us the money back the next day.

What incredible pictures! Just beautiful!!!

Beth, the fruit arrangements look fabulous!! And I think I would spend my entire day watching the deer if they were in my yard. So sweet!

Oh, I'm so sorry, Karen! What a pain!!!

That's terrible! I hope this is the end of the problems and there aren't more transactions to follow!

Ahh, but your daughter knows more than you LOL:laughing: She did pick a Disney name as Patches is one of the names of the 101 Dalmatians. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Good luck with Patches! Arabella Razor Claws is 8 weeks and she is about to drive me to drink! But she is sort of cute...:rolleyes1 I am glad your mom is coming home!

We have quite a few pictures like that from those days. :goodvibes

Amy, it always makes me laugh when moms mention that the babies will be into more mischief when they can walk. Babies who can crawl and pull to stand can easily get into anything and everything that they could if they could walk. Matthew has obviously figured that out!:rotfl2: Arabella has figured out how to unroll the toilet paper, too. Aurora really wasn't this much trouble as a kitten!

So I will be heading back to the Girl Scout council office either Friday or Monday.:cool1: :woohoo: They just called a little while ago to schedule an interview. Wish me luck, please. I can definitely go on Monday but I would like to go on Friday but I need to have my manager call me back to see if I can get the time off from work in order to go. The interview is supposed to be at 2pm on Friday, but I am supposed to work from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

In addition my manager is about 95% certain she is moving to Myrtle Beach and I am supposed to manage the store when she leaves. I have a feeling things might get interesting.

Did I mention I need to go buy clothing for an interview. What to buy, what to buy? I have black pants and a nice top, just need a jacket or should I wear something else? Or does anyone have any recommendations?

Hope everyone had a great day.

Oh, Becky! I am so excited for you! Please don't let anyone guilt you into staying in the retail job! They will work it out no matter what happens. I hope you get the job with the Girl Scouts! No clue what you should wear. I used to wear a suit to nanny interviews, but now I go in capris and a denim jacket.;)

Evening all.
Had a great day @ Blizzard Beach.
Now I'm dog tired.
Anyone going to be @ Epcot Saturday?
We are using our last day ticket.
Want to see the flower festival.

Well, we WOULD have been if I hadn't cancelled our weekend at WDW.:guilty: Airfare was just out of control and it never did get better so I cancelled the hotel and started to concentrate on the August trip. Enjoy the flowers, Jo!

Lindsay - Yep, that was an interesting storm! Brother looked outside and said "I think it is getting NIGHT!" Of course the satellite stopped working, so the kids were huddled around the travel DVD player watching Alice in Wonderland.

I got the revised draft of my contract today, but I haven't had time to go through it yet. I need to do that later tonight (I am working late) and set up a time to go by and sign it. Closer and closer...:cool1:
I also asked Momboss this morning if instead of staying overnight when they are gone if I can just come by and put the kids to bed, then come back in the morning to get them ready for camp. Grandpa will be here with them overnight and take them to camp. She said that's fine, so hopefully that will work out. I just can't imagine coming to work on Monday morning and not going home until wedenesday or Thursday night!:scared:

Those of you with younger kids, say 5 & 12 or so ;), would you ever take a trip to WDW without them? I'm just tossing around the idea in my head for just Craig & I to go in July 2008. It will be our 15th anniversary and since we honeymooned in WDW, it would be ok for just us to go, right? I'm feeling a bit guilty of even considering not taking them.

Sounds wonderful, wish I could meet you!

The boys are fine today. I cleaned & bandaged Garrett's back. Hopefully it will not leave a bad scar if any. Garrett's arm feels better today as well, only a red welt.

Inventory went ok I guess, at least it is over for another month! I dislike extending more than I do counting. All those numbers make me crossed eye lol

OMG hope the boys are ok.
Also that this bully stays far away in the future.

Poor kid.
Inventory UGH!!

Becky,
Lots of good luck!!!

Karen,
That stinks.

Beth,
Wow!!! You should start a side business & sell them! Beautiful!

Jo,
I WISH I was going to be in Epcot this Saturday!:sad1:

Well I am going with Janet, Tammi, & Channon this October & I do feel guilty in a way. I have not told my kids yet & won't until probably Sept. However I would not let that guilty feeling stop me from going. My Dh would love to come too but we have no one who is responsible to watch our children so he was sweet enough to tell me to go & have fun with my DDA friends. You & your DH derserve some time alone & to be a couple (not just mom & dad). That makes your bond stronger as man & wife & therefore stregthens your bond with your kids. If I had someone to watch my kiddies, me & Dh would go but its just not in the card right now. I say go, have fun, & enjoy.

Kelli - there is no reason why you & DH shouldn't go to WDW for your anniversary! I think the guilt stems more from the location than a trip in and of itself. DH & I have never been anywhere without DS, but we miss him when he's not home. (How lame are we?) We also don't have anyone that we would leave him with, so it's not really an option.

I went in Jan. without the boys & I am going in Oct. without the boys. Did/do I feel guilty? Just a little because I love sharing Disney with them. But I think I deserve some adult time there as well. We have our family trip in Dec. & we are all looking forward to that!

Gary & I also went to Europe for 3 weeks in Mar. This was harder for me because I was farther away & I was gone longer than just a few days.

I say go & enjoy yourselves! You will have more trips were you can take the children with you.

Well that doesn't make any sense! You think they would have denied it for not having enough funds :confused3

the one thing i cant understand is i only had $20 in my account so i dont know why they let $3300 go through.

Oh, no! That would make FAR too much sense! They will only deny legitimate transactions when the account owner makes an honest mistake. Fraudulent transactions should clear without anyone giving it a second thought!:rotfl2:

We have gotten new debit cards in the mail TWICE because our account "may have been compromised". And I got a phone call the last time I made a big ($1500) payment to Disney to verify that it was my transaction. The thing was, they called DAYS after I made the payment!:headache:

82 more days!!!!!!!!!!! We are all so excited here you would think we were leaving tomorrow!:confused3 :yay:

Hi everyone. I have been so busy today and I am now exhausted. I've read everything but just don't have the energy to post replies. I love all the pictures. :wizard: and :grouphug: to all who need it. Hopefully I'll be back to my old self tomorrow. I think I'm just pms-ing so it should blow over soon.

Totally fine! Alan and I did it to DL last year, and the kids were fine with it. They know that we take them when we can, but sometimes we have to be just adults!

I love the way you guys think!!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2 Thanks!!

Good luck on the interview, Becky. I agree that a jacket would probably be a good investment.

Jo - I am glad you had a good time today. I WISH I was going to be in Epcot on Saturday! I would LOVE to meet youl

Hope tomorrow is a better day for you Tammi

Tammi,

I haven't pmsd in a long time but I have been reading and enjoying everyone's pictures and stories but just have not felt like replying.

The first time I went away for two days by myself with friends was very trying but I loved it. The kids were fine with DH. They still talk about the blue rice. They said make something different and he put food coloring in the rice. :rotfl:
An anniversary trip is just that to celebrate your time together. Sometimes it has to be without the kids.

I just love the fruit arrangements. Very unique.
The picture of the fawn is just beautiful. I think I want/need a new camera.

I know one thing, I am going to WDW in October and I so need this trip. Stephanie and I talk about it almost every day. :goodvibes

I must admit tho I had the best time with my sister in Cape May. We even stayed an extra day--kinda a spur of the moment thing. I am already talking with her to get our one other sister to come there with us in May or October of 2008.

To everyone lots of :grouphug: :grouphug: :woohoo: :cheer2: :rotfl: :hippie: and :wizard:
