Beth, I have to agree with everyone else! You did a fantastic job on the fruit arrangements!

The picture of the deer are great too! Leighanna saw it and said that it must be Bambi!

Miles has named the fawn Bambi, too. Laura named him/her Oswald. Miles says that Oswald is an octopus, not a baby deer. :rotfl:

Thanks for all the comments of support for my Mom!
The hospital is going to release her on Thursday. The tests are inconclusive as to what happened.
She is still somewhat disoriented, but is getting better. She still doesn't remember falling, or laying on the floor of her apartment for over 24 hours!

The doctors are changing some of her meds around, hoping that that will remedy the problem.
My brothers and I will be calling twice a day from now on to check on her. I figure with all of us taking a turn, it will be easier for all of us.

I'm glad that Mom is headed home soon. I'm sorry that they don't have an conclusive answers for you though. I hope the medication adjustments do the trick.

Congrats on the new kitty as well. I can't wait to see pictures.

So I will be heading back to the Girl Scout council office either Friday or Monday.:cool1: :woohoo: They just called a little while ago to schedule an interview. Wish me luck, please. I can definitely go on Monday but I would like to go on Friday but I need to have my manager call me back to see if I can get the time off from work in order to go. The interview is supposed to be at 2pm on Friday, but I am supposed to work from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

In addition my manager is about 95% certain she is moving to Myrtle Beach and I am supposed to manage the store when she leaves. I have a feeling things might get interesting.

Did I mention I need to go buy clothing for an interview. What to buy, what to buy? I have black pants and a nice top, just need a jacket or should I wear something else? Or does anyone have any recommendations?

Hope everyone had a great day.

YEAH!!!  I just know that you are perfect for this job. Best of luck on the interview. I think that adding a jacket to what you already have would be good.

Beth -- love the fruit arrangements. We have a company in Dallas that does some that look like those and they are a huge hit with Randy and his co-workers! I'm sure you get lots of thanks when you give them out!

The pictures of the deer are beautiful! What a sweet picture with mom and baby!

Good morning, DDA!

Beth - Wow! I can't believe how late your school year runs into June! I hope the last few weeks go smoothly!

Robyn - Enjoy the baby shower! I hope Lucy gets lots of goodies!

Hmm. Anyone care to guess what is in the forecast today? Did you say RAIN? That's right! More rain! And again I have no clue what we are going to do today! I was lucky that it cleared up yesterday before we went to Taekwondo, so I was able to stop at the grocery after that without getting drenched. The liberry is closed on Thursdays, so that's out. Maybe the kids will have an idea.

Have a great day, everyone!!:)

Beth, the fruit arrangements look fabulous!! And I think I would spend my entire day watching the deer if they were in my yard. So sweet!

I got the revised draft of my contract today, but I haven't had time to go through it yet. I need to do that later tonight (I am working late) and set up a time to go by and sign it. Closer and closer...:cool1:
I also asked Momboss this morning if instead of staying overnight when they are gone if I can just come by and put the kids to bed, then come back in the morning to get them ready for camp. Grandpa will be here with them overnight and take them to camp. She said that's fine, so hopefully that will work out. I just can't imagine coming to work on Monday morning and not going home until wedenesday or Thursday night!:scared:

Elizabeth, I did spend way too much time staring at deer and taking pictures yesterday.

Good luck on the new contract! I am glad that you don't have to be at work from Monday-Thursday!

Hi everyone. I have been so busy today and I am now exhausted. I've read everything but just don't have the energy to post replies. I love all the pictures. :wizard: and :grouphug: to all who need it. Hopefully I'll be back to my old self tomorrow. I think I'm just pms-ing so it should blow over soon.

Tammi, ! I hate PMS-ing. It seems to make no sense, but you really can't control it either. Dh and the kids have learned when it's best just to quietly walk away from me.

I hope that you are feeling like your old self!

Good morning...Can somebody tell me where this week has gone? I've tried keeping up by reading along but think I've missed some pages. Sending out 's, :cheer2: and :wizard: to everyone.

Emma and I went on her school field trip yesterday to the zoo. I have no idea what possessed me to agree to chaperon. It was about 88 degrees and very sunny. And the zoo is all on a hill. Needless to say, we were both exhausted. We skipped our last soccer practice as I just didn't think Emma could handle it. We also had planned to go to her school's performance of the Wizard of Oz. Well we got up to school at 6:50pm, (it started at 7pm) but apparently is was canceled! No notices or anything in Emma's backpack so I wasn't very happy. Neither was Molly, it is her obsession right now.

Anyway, today Molly and the 2 little boys, their grandma works with Eric, I watch are headed to Eric's work as they are throwing him a baby shower. He ha He has no idea so it should be fun.

I hope everyone has a great day. I need to get the girls moving!! Talk to you later.

How fun! Have a good time at the shower.

Good Morning DDa,

Deb - I hope Colby's feet are feeling better today, poor baby. Hopefully he won't have to see Dr. Misery again.

Karen - :wizard: PD that everything get's straightened out.

Janet - Congratulations on keeping your cool and handling the situation so well, my gut reaction would have been to find a big stick and retaliate, although that would have been wrong.

Beth - Congratulations to Laura on a great year. Love the pictures of the Doe and Fawn. I love the fruit arrangements, would you mind sharing the instructions?

Amy - I love the picture, the look on his face is priceless. You'll have to show it to his girlfriends when he's older. :rotfl:

Kelli - Hi, long time no see. After our youngest graduated DH and I started taking Disney trips alone, it is fantastic. Our daughters do try and make us feel guilty but that doesn't stop us. Now when our Grandson told us that we better not even think about going without him again . . . . . note the trip with him in September :rotfl:

Elizabeth - Glad to hear that the contract has worked itself out. It's too bad that your DH couldn't have come and gotten at least one of the kittens. Their owners finally came home Monday evening, now they were gone from Friday til Monday, left the kittens in the shed and the dog in the backyard with no one to check on them. Well the kittens escaped and would have probably have been run over by the time they got home. The kittens are completely infested with fleas, if they had been mine they would have gotten a bath and then some powder, but I bet they won't get anything. My neighbors seem like the type that will always have animals that they won't properly care for.

Anne Marie - Congrats on the weight loss :cool1:

I've been working on designs for our trip, here's the latest possibility.

I borrowed Deb's idea of wearing swim trunks for Brandon, so I picked him up three pair the other day. I will definitely let him wear them and his crocs to Epcot, that way he can play in the fountains if he wants. Thanks Deb! If you have any more ideas like this please share.

Glynis - I hope you're feeling better today, you can't be getting sick, it's almost time for Disney!

Good morning, DDA!!! Looks like another potentially rainy day here today so maybe the garden won't get worked on yet again. Of course, I'll have all 4 kids today while Kristi helps a friend pack to move so maybe it wouldn't get done anyway. I've also got to figure out how to fit in getting to the grocery store since they will be here at 8:30 and we have dance recital dress rehersals tonight immediately after. We are out of so many things it's getting crazy around here. I'm not even sure why we are out of so much.

Those in Texas, stay dry!

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning :)

Today is Garrett's 1st official day of no school. Riley's last day will be Friday & I pick up report cards Friday.

I have so much I need to do today & it looks like it is going to be a wet one outside. I am going to buy season passes to our outdoor pool facilities. I am not going to mess with buying a pool this year. I know the boys will get good use of it & it only costs $20 more to add myself.

My laundry is over flowing & I need to clean the house. Oh what fun

Riley has a game tonight if it does not get rained out.

Is anyone else thinking about purchasing a personalized brick from Disney? Gary told me to go for it(which really surprised me), but I can't get over the price tag. What to do, what to do

Have a great day all!

Oh look at our tickers ladies, only 139 days :dance3:

Good Morning DDA!

Debbie, great design.

I was just thinking the other day that I need to start looking for designs for our trip. Most of everything that I had saved is gone with our old computer!

Here are a couple of pictures of Patches:
