I really want to go see Shrek 3 tomorrow. I would buy the tickets early in the morning, but just have no idea what time I'll get out of work. I'm really afraid I'm going to have to wait until Saturday.

I think we are going to see this on Sunday afternoon after church.

And Robyn, I love Lucy!!
This made me :rotfl: .

Good morning, all! My long post just vanished into the cosmos! I have no idea what happened. I was logged in when I started the reply and logged out by the time I tried to post the reply.

I have to run...I hope to be back in a little while.

Good morning, DDA!

Busy day today! DS has field day, the little ones have school, I am meeting some friends for coffee, and this afternoon Sister has some sort of ceremony at Taekwondo to recognize the kids for doing well in school. I thought we were going to be able to SKIP Taekwondo today, but no such luck.

And then I have THE INTERVIEW after work!

I need to hop in the shower. Have a great Friday, everyone!!
Sending you tons of :wizard: for your interview today!!!

So.....what did everyone think of Grey's finale last night?

Good Morning all. I didin't sleep well last night. I'm coming down with a cold. I finally got up at 6 AM and took some sudafed and Advil then I was able to take a little nap before getting up for the day. At least the meds helped. I need to get going and finish getting the camper ready for our trip TODAY :scared1: I think I may need some clothes for myself :rolleyes1 The others are all packed. The weather looks cold and rainy. I ended up running to LL Bean yesterday and buying all 3 boys rainsuits. I really want to keep us all warm and dry. Chris and I have cheapo suits from Walmart. If the newer suits that I bought for the boys work well I will be investing in some for Chris and I too. They really just look like wind suits, but they promise me that they are 100% waterproof. I'll have to see it to believe it.

I need to run a few errands this morning too, picking up items that were donated for the trip.

I love seeing all the pictures, It is so nice to see all the beautiful people and homes of the DDA.

Theresa, I'm not sure if I posted a Happy Birthday wish for Cassidy last week so wish her a belated one from us.

I guess that's enough chatting for me. Have a great weekend if I don't get back before then.

Deb

Deb I hope you all have fun camping this weekend! :wizard: that the rain stays away & that you feel better.

Beth I hope you have a wonderful day!

Deb- thanks for the birthday wishes for Cassidy (I'll tell both girls...remember I've got the strange kids with the same birthday...:goodvibes ) Have fun camping this weekend!!

Everyone-thanks for the comments on Cassidy and the house. I can't believe she's almost done being a freshman...she's growing up so fast.

Elizabeth-I hope the job interview goes well this afternoon and the perfect job situation presents itself soon!!

Happy Birthday Beth!!!:cheer2:

Awesome Robyn!

Thanks, Janet!

Oh my! Cassidy is beautiful! I didn't recognize her, she seems so grown up! Love the house!

Robyn- love the pics of Lucy...she looks like she will fit right in to your family.

Thanks, Theresa.

Robyn- Nice to see Lucy, technology is amazing.

Theresa- Great pictures.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Don't be afraid to post more. Cassidy looks like she was ready to have a great time. The house looks great and I bet it looks even better as a home with your stuff in it.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

So I hope I have all my stuff together for Relay for Life tomorrow night into Saturday. Who told the rain and cold they could come back???:confused3 :confused3 Come on fess up.:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Its supposed to rain Friday and Saturday the high is only supposed to be in the 50s. Today it was in the mid 70s. Lets just say it is going to not be pleasant weather but I will still make the most of it. Not sure when I will be back on as I work tomorrow and am going straight to Relay from work till I leave which could be sometime Saturday but I don't think I will stay the whole time given the weather forecast.

Sending prayers, :wizard: :wizard: and :grouphug: to all of you.

I agree about the technology. Hope it's not too cold for you this weekend.

Cassidy is beautiful! How old is she, what a heartbreaker :goodvibes

Your new house looks lovely!

Maybe once we get ours remodeled the way we want, I will post pics of ours(of course this may be a few years lol)

Come on Janet, we need to see before pics! I hear you on the few years though! I am so excited about the new carpet we are getting ready to put in and the hardwood floors in the dining room. Who'd thought carpet would make me happy! But we have a ton still to do.

Robyn, cute. :goodvibes

Thanks, Heidi. Hope your back to yourself soon!

We had another death at one of our high schools. The senior was going to his last day of school.....and died skitching (hitching a ride on a car while skateboarding) a dumb move...but our schools have had so much death and threats....summer can't come soon enough for me.

How sad.

Robyn, those are absolutely incredible! What a beautiful little face!

My interview went well. The parents are SO nice. I met the DD6 and the baby, but the DS3 was in bed already. The upside is that they are ready to move forward in the hiring process. The downside is I am not 100% sure that this is the job for me. Mom works out of the house (people in my work space, you know) and they mentioned the DS3 is off the charts for height and weight. They also said he is quite strong willed. Translation: I couldn't lift him with my back injury, and I didn't tell them that. I don't lift Brother all that often, but I CAN lift him if I need to. So I told them I have more interviews scheduled but they are definitely in the running. The salary is good, so that's not a concern at all. I am worried about going into a job where another nanny has been with the kids their whole lives. Of course she isn't there full time, and she has the mom around part of the time so it isn't like the kids have been raised exclusively by the nanny. Transitioning 3 kids over to a new nanny will be tricky. Not the baby so much, but the older 2 will be a challenge. Hmm. We'll just have to see how it goes tomorrow with the other family.

Thanks, Elizabeth. I hope these last few weeks go fast. I'm anxious to see how realistic the images are.

Here's some :wizard: for THE INTERVIEW! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi!

I knew the past two weeks would be grueling, they were actually worse than I imagined.

But I'm not going to dwell on that. I made it through. Time to get happy.

I finally was able to look back on my trip and smile. I had lunch with my DD and she was so excited to start planning our next trip. Her son was just too excited. He loved everything. :dance3:
Except the characters. He just doesn't like the characters. Any of them. Except Lightning Mc Queen.:car: I need to beg her to allow me to post the picture of him and Lightning.

I really want to go see Shrek 3 tomorrow. I would buy the tickets early in the morning, but just have no idea what time I'll get out of work. I'm really afraid I'm going to have to wait until Saturday.

Sunday is all planned. I get to see Terry's sister again. We are going to have some fun. Can't wait for Sunday night TV.

I've missed so much, I can't possibly catch up.

But I did see a couple of really neat pictures. Tammi, you and Alyssa look stunning! Bernadette, you looked great pregnant! And Robyn, I love Lucy!!

I'll drop back in next week, when things calm down a bit. Maybe I can work on my trip report. Better attitude, better trip report. I really needed an attitude adjustment.:) :teeth:

Steffy, You made it and it's going to be downhill from here. Thanks so much!

Enjoy it. Stick it out there with pride! I always loved being pregnant. :goodvibes

Care to take over for me, it's only about 48 days.

Oh Robyn - what a thing to treasure! It's amazing what they can do nowadays.

Hi Lucy! It's nice to see you!!!

Thanks, Tammi.

So.....what did everyone think of Grey's finale last night?

I was a little confused, but it doesn't take much nowadays.

I think that title should go to Bernadette. I usually forget to hit the button when I'm reading through!

The time has gone by fast. But at the same time these last few weeks are going to fly by and drag at the same time.

I will show before pics when I post the after pics lol

I can't believe you only have 48 days left, I am so excited for you!

Beth I hope you have a wonderful day!

And the graphic swiper strikes again! One of these days I will learn to locate and post my own graphics, but until then I will borrow the ones from other posts! Happy birthday, Beth!:cheer2:

Robyn - I saw a comedian once who was talking about stupid things people say to pregnant women, like "Haven't you had that baby yet?" And the reply is "Yes. I am just holding this one for someone else.";)

I really need to get off the computer, but I feel so lazy! Actually it is just the peace & quiet, so relaxing ;)

I have errands to run & the rest of the weekend will be busy. Riley has a game tonight, so I need to get moving(think I need a kick in the pants lol).

Tomorrow I work, Garrett has tag day from 11am -1pm, Riley has a game at 4pm, & the graduation party for my nephew is tomorrow afternoon. I need 3 of me tomorrow :upsidedow

Sunday my nephew graduates from high school. I am so proud of him & cannot wait to see him in his cap & gown getting his diploma :goodvibes

At least the weather is cooperating, it is going to be sunny & warm.

Ok I am going(really I am), chat with you all later!

I said I was going, but this made me :rotfl2:
