Hi, Stephanie!
Brother can not WAIT to see Shrek. Luckily his time concepts are fuzzy so he doesn't know tomorrow is the release date!:rotfl2: I'll take the kids to see it next week when school is finished.

I had a strange encounter today....we went into Wendy's (I will be thrilled when our kitchen is completely together!!!) and I noticed a woman who looked very familiar. We're ordering and she comes up to me......asks if I was in her choir at Euclid.....turns out it was my junior high choir teacher!!

We sit down to dinner and Cassidy says....guess you haven't changed much mom:rotfl2:

I am going to go wash my face and head to bed. That's the bad thing about interviewing - I have to wear make-up and grown up clothes.;) DS taped the season finale of Grey's for me but I am too tired to watch it right now.

Good night, DDA!

The first pics in the show are of Cassidy at prom (just a few) and the rest are of the new house....before boxes.

Cassidy is lovely! And the house looks wonderful, Theresa. I am so happy for you guys. :goodvibes

My interview went well. The parents are SO nice. I met the DD6 and the baby, but the DS3 was in bed already. The upside is that they are ready to move forward in the hiring process. The downside is I am not 100% sure that this is the job for me. Mom works out of the house (people in my work space, you know) and they mentioned the DS3 is off the charts for height and weight. They also said he is quite strong willed. Translation: I couldn't lift him with my back injury, and I didn't tell them that. I don't lift Brother all that often, but I CAN lift him if I need to. So I told them I have more interviews scheduled but they are definitely in the running. The salary is good, so that's not a concern at all. I am worried about going into a job where another nanny has been with the kids their whole lives. Of course she isn't there full time, and she has the mom around part of the time so it isn't like the kids have been raised exclusively by the nanny. Transitioning 3 kids over to a new nanny will be tricky. Not the baby so much, but the older 2 will be a challenge. Hmm. We'll just have to see how it goes tomorrow with the other family.

I am glad the interview went well, Elizabeth. I hope the right decision makes itself apparent to you very soon so that you can put all this uncertainty behind you and start your new job happily with the exact match you need!

Hi!

I knew the past two weeks would be grueling, they were actually worse than I imagined.

But I'm not going to dwell on that. I made it through. Time to get happy.

I finally was able to look back on my trip and smile. I had lunch with my DD and she was so excited to start planning our next trip. Her son was just too excited. He loved everything. :dance3: :jumping1:

Except the characters. He just doesn't like the characters. Any of them. Except Lightning Mc Queen.:car: I need to beg her to allow me to post the picture of him and Lightning.

I really want to go see Shrek 3 tomorrow. I would buy the tickets early in the morning, but just have no idea what time I'll get out of work. I'm really afraid I'm going to have to wait until Saturday.

Sunday is all planned. I get to see Terry's sister again. We are going to have some fun. Can't wait for Sunday night TV.

I've missed so much, I can't possibly catch up.

But I did see a couple of really neat pictures. Tammi, you and Alyssa look stunning! Bernadette, you looked great pregnant! And Robyn, I love Lucy!!

I'll drop back in next week, when things calm down a bit. Maybe I can work on my trip report. Better attitude, better trip report. I really needed an attitude adjustment.:) :teeth:

Here you go, Steffy... hoping for a quick attitude adjustment for you. If anyone can make that turnaround quickly it is YOU!

:banana: :banana: :cheer2: :cheer2: :yay: :yay: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :yay::yay: :yay: :cheer2: :cheer2: :banana: :banana:

How sad :sad2:

We had another death at one of our high schools. The senior was going to his last day of school.....and died skitching (hitching a ride on a car while skateboarding) a dumb move...but our schools have had so much death and threats....summer can't come soon enough for me.

Elizabeth I hope you find a family you feel comfortable with. Good luck with the next interview :wizard:

Hi Stephanie! Glad to hear things are looking up!

Good morning, DDA!

Busy day today! DS has field day, the little ones have school, I am meeting some friends for coffee, and this afternoon Sister has some sort of ceremony at Taekwondo to recognize the kids for doing well in school. I thought we were going to be able to SKIP Taekwondo today, but no such luck.

And then I have THE INTERVIEW after work!

I need to hop in the shower. Have a great Friday, everyone!!

It was such an amazing experience. Emma and Molly loved "seeing" their baby sister. Even Eric thought it was "cool" Which says a lot because he just doesn't get excited until the baby is actually here. I think it has something to do with the fact everytime he has tried to feel any of the girls moving they immediately stopped when he put his hand on my belly.

I am so glad that we did this even though Molly thought we were bringing Lucy home with us tonight. She made the funniest comment this morning when we were discussing our day. I told her we were going to "see" Lucy later and she said "We're going to Lucy's house to see her." Well sort of!!

So here she is....

She's sticking her tongue out at us in this one....(the girl's loved this)

Oh Robyn - what a thing to treasure! It's amazing what they can do nowadays.

Hi Lucy! It's nice to see you!!!
