Did you make your Drs appointment yet like you said you would a few weeks ago? I finally went today and even made the mamogram appointment for Friday.

Just keep posting. Alan finally signed on to the DISboards, and so now he lurks. I keep tellng him you all are nice, so "play nice" DDA.

Yes, I made my doctor's appointment. I have to have the ob before I can schedule the mammogram, so I'll keep you posted!

Poor Becky has a broken heart. Her boyfriend has told her he isn't sure he is in love with her. He says he loves her and wants to go out with her and stay friends but doesn't think he wants to be exclusive. This is a really nice young man and I feel for her. I hope that they can remain friends because he is good for her.

I'm off to bed. I'll have a busy day of meetings tomorrow and have lots of stuff to prepare since I'll be running most of them. Today & yesterday we had some major deployments happening on the project I'm working on. There are lots of issues that will need to be discussed, resolved and documented. Don't know if I'll have time to get back on tomorrow.

That is tough. I'm sure it is driven by the fact that school is ending soon and there are so many unknowns ahead of them. Maybe a little distance will give them both perspective. I hope she can focus on her exams.

Dr. thinks I have probably started perimenopause which can last 5 years. What a PITA. TOM is coming more frequently, lasting longer and is much stronger. Plus, I am warm alot. Now, mind you I need to wear gloves sometimes in the summer in air conditioned buildings because I'm always cold!!! I wear sweaters/sweatshirts year round unless I'm outside during the day when the sun is shining. All of a sudden, I'm too warm to keep them on all day.

I can so relate. I have gloves with the finger tips cut out so I can still type, I also have a scarf which I sometimes wear at work. Lately, I turn bright red when I am having my Private Summers.
The whole change of life thing sucks. Never know how to dress sometimes.
For me, this has been going on for over 20 years

Before I go, I'm asking for another favor: we are looking for objects that begin with Z for Mary to take in the Sound Box to preschool on Thursday. So far, I have a zipper, a zebra and zig-zag (rick rack from my sewing box.) Do any of you fabulous people have any more ideas? Thanks.

20 years???

I had a Hysterectomy at 37 cause I was tired of dealing with a 7 day period packed into one. Plus I also had endometriosis. Uterus was three times the normal size. I actually can deal with the Private Summers, my DH just has a hard time
First the covers, then throw them off, then i need them again.
I was taking herbal stuff but could not deal with that So I just take it a day at a time

Oh I feel for her. I remember those days all too well. As tough as life is sometimes now, I would never want to have to go back to that age.

Alyssa had Z a few weeks ago. I made a special trip to the grocery store and bought a zuchini. I always take out the dictionary and peruse it for tough letters like that.
