I was suppose to work today, but I am home with Riley. The school called & said he did not look to good. So we are home now & Riley is sleeping. He said his head is pounding & he is cold. I hope whatever it is goes away quickly!

okay an update on grandma.

It is not bone cancer. But they found a pretty good size mass on her liver. she had the biopsy this morning. we will have to wait a few days for the results. Continue to pray that it will not be cancer. TIA

about the same dealing with the nausea some days worse then others. I had a real bad Migraine yesterday that brought me home early from work. it was so bad that I ended up throwing up. then was asleep by 830 slept till 8 this morning, with a couple of trips to the potty, but at least I went right back to sleep.

I am feeling pretty good. I've been sleeping a lot better which has made a huge difference. But I've discovered a new craving- crushed ice. I can't get enough of it. The funny thing is I hate ice in my drinks, I like them cold but without ice, or crunching on anything cold. I even wince when I see Emma and Molly bite into a popsicle.

I have decided I need one of those special passes. You know, the one where you don't have to stop for red lights? And if the person in front of you stops at a red light you can lay on your horn? Not just tap the horn, but BLAST it, like the person just cut you off and almost caused an accident. Yep. I need one of those. Because the jerk behind me on the way to school obviously has one!

I have ran into a few people that have that "special" pass too! I wonder where they got them?

How's your wife doing, these days?

Thanks Glynis! No big plans as of yet! DW is doing fine. The doctors have her on about 6 or 7 different meds right now to try to figure out a treatment for her skin problems. She told them that she just wants to be able to walk without pain by the end of Sept. for our trip to Disney! So he is trying everything that he can to help her out!

Well the interview is over...they said it was more of a screening interview..they asked me about 5 or 6 questions and talked ab out my student teaching and that was it...they will call if interested for a 2nd interview..whew!!

Oh, and I got my MNSSHP tickets today!

well the Headache is gone. just a little bit of nausea today.

This may sound odd, but you might be needing more iron in your diet. I have a iron deficiency & when it gets really low, chomping on ice is what I go for!

I have heard this before too! Leighanna likes to chew on ice. When she had her physical though, they said her iron was fine!

I've think I've heard that before so it doesn't sound too strange. At my last appt. my dr. had the results of my bloodwork/glucose test and didn't mention anything but it certainly could have changed since then.

Eric is holding out hope that it is a boy as I was telling one of my girlfriend's about it and she said that she craved the same thing with her DS as did best friend's sister when pregnant with her 2 boys. I told Eric not to get his hopes up!

Hi, all! I am so far behind that I am going to just jump right back in. I'll probably try to read backwards a bit, but I don't have much time here today. A quick re-cap of the weekend would be great!

to all that need it.

We had a good time in Albany, and both of Laura's routines qualified for Regionals!!! That means we'll be in Hamden, CT for my birthday weekend. From there, I hope at least one routine can head to Nationals at Miami University in Oxford, OH. Sorry, Anne Marie, the decision was made to skip the Long Island meet this year. It falls on the same weekend as try-outs for Empire State Games, and there were a few other conflicts.

Matthew is finally feeling well enough to be in school. He still has a horrible, hacking cough and some congestion, but the fever is gone and he can stay upright.

Today I went to the funeral for the mother of a friend of mine. She died in her sleep last Thursday unexpectedly. It was so sad.
