Thanks, Elin. I think I am good. I just have to get organized. We have the dr. appt. at 0930 and then I will drop her off at preschool, which will give me a few uninterrupted hours to get stuff done.

For those of you that have flown with strollers...........

How do you get them through security in the airport? Do you put them through the x-rayer with your carry-ons or can you stroll them through the metal detector with your child still sitting in it?

I am taking mine for the first time (instead of renting) and I'm concerned about all the headaches with 2 kids, carry-ons, the stroller, and my laptop. Which leads me to another question......where in your room do you put the laptop? Do you hide it or just leave it out in the open?

This has probably already been answered...

Unless the child cannot walk, you need to fold up the stroller and put it on through with the carry-ons.

We hid the laptop. It wasn't really secure, but it was at least out of sight.

Evening everyone!
Well, I have a few problems solved for this weekend.
For the bridal shower I'm hosting Saturday, I just have a few more things to pick up - salad and rolls at Guidos (ordered and just need paid for); rice (for a game); wrapping paper; pickles and green olives. Decided not to buy containers for salad dressing, the jars are fine, instead of trying to make them look nice and not just in a Kraft bottle. Everything else is already in my trunk, in boxes ready to go.
For the bridal shower I'm attending on Sunday, I was having problems with "wrapping" the present. I got her shipboard credit and the Congratulations Stateroom celebration package (cake, balloons, streamers, confetti). All the cruise line gave me was an invoice. Go figure. So I thought I'd just buy a picture frame and use my wonderful clipart skills. (HA!) But it's a picture frame. Last time I was at her house, I didn't see many pictures out. I ended up going to Kohls last night and I found a set of glass coasters that you can slide pictures into for $10! So this morning I worked my clipart magic and each coaster now has a saying and something Hawaii on it in the picture spot. One has "Shipboard Credit", "Celebration Cake", "Stateroom Suprise" and the last one says "Enjoy your Hawaii Cruise! Love Chanon and Bob". Turned out cute! I hope she likes it...that and all the ribbon she has to fight through!

Elizabeth. On the plus side, I hated to commute. I commuted at least 45 minutes each way for 12 years. It gets old fast. I hope you find the perfect roly-poly baby 5 minutes from your home...

I received 3 wonderful emails from Disney.

I hope my family enjoys their trip. My DD lamented that to get to Kona Cafe, she will have to take the bus and then take the monorail instead of just walking up the walkway. No towel animals. No Mousekeeping. Boo hiss DVC. No monorail. No TTC. When are we eating at Sci-fi? Primetime? I didn't make reservations at either.

I think it is all misplaced anger. One of my DGD's classmates died today. Choked on a kernel of popcorn. The funeral will be held while we're in Disney. His brother is one of DGD's best friends. She is devasted. I think the best thing we could do for her is to take her to his home tomorrow before we leave and let them comfort each other. He obviously didn't come to school today, and the thought that she won't see him this horrific week, is killing her spirit.

Well, I guess i better get to sleep. I leave for Disney today!!!

Oh my goodness! What a horrible tragedy!
