Good luck on the Well baby visit tomorrow! I can't believe how big Matthew is!!! Time goes by so fast!

Off the top of my head...

Prayers for your grandma, Jennifer.

Theresa, I'm sorry it was such a stressful day for you!

Deb, :flower3:

Steffy and Tammi, yay for single digits!

Jen, I'm so sorry about Champ.

Glynis- tell your poor kiddo I totally understand the ear pain. The doctor flushed my ear out...well what he could and has me on the same drops....they feel funky!!

Are the munchkins behaving themselves???

Poor Jacob, hope his ear feels better soon :wizard:

When Riley was 4, he had trouble with earaches & it was because of wax build up. I had to give him drops for quite awhile. Thankfully he no longer has any problems.

Earaches are the worst! I fear going to see an ear doctor more than the dentist. I had a painful experience that I will never forget!

Well, I spent the better part of the evening at the doctor's with Jacob. Poor little guy began complaining of ear pain at about 5:00 this afternoon. I didn't think much of it, but he kept complaining, and at about 7:30 tonight he was in so much pain he was crying. I took him to the after hours clinic in our neighborhood, and the doctor tried to take a look. Poor little guy has such a build up of ear wax that he couldn't even see the ear drum. He literally had to chisel away at it, and it hurt him so badly! I felt so terrible!!! Anyway, the good news is that it doesn't look like an infection, so he's on Motrin unless it gets worse. We also have to give him eardrops to loosen the wax. He'll have to go back in a couple of days to have his ears flushed out. Ick!!!

Hi Amy! I can't believe Matthew is going to be nine months already!

Hey there!

Grandma has been staying with us, so my computer time has been even more limited than usual. We had a great day out at the zoo on Tuesday and a fun day in at the Children's Museum yesterday. Today, was a cold, rainy day, and other than a quick trip to Kroger, we stayed in.

Tomorrow is Matthew's 9-month-well appointment!

Which reminds me, thank you for all the compliments on the pictures I posted last weekend while I was at my mom's house.

Matthew is eating table food already (he's got 8 teeth now) and he's still army-crawling all over the place. I can't wait to find out his height, weight, etc. tomorrow.

Jacob's words were, "it feels crinkly."

Thanks! I really hope these drops work. I remember my brother going through this when he was about Jacob's age! The wax that was pulled out of his ears looked like the cotton the dentist uses to pack your teeth, only the wax was dark brown! Gross!!!!! I hope we can treat Jacob's with these drops and have it work out!

Okay, I'm just going to be obnoxious now....:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

So that Ebay item I never received...I opened a complaint and he also decided to escalate it with Paypal....I think he probably just forgot to mail it and is embarrassed....oh well I gues we will see. But I was just so peeved that he took 2 days to respond and then immediately escalated it and today of all days!!

I am headed off...Abi is coming with me to work tomorrow, she loves doing that...I'm not sure why. :confused3

May the morning sun see all of our blahs moving away!!

Luckily, we had a good day up until then! We worked in the yard all day. We got our garden plot tilled up, an arbor built for our grape vines, cut back the raspberry bushes, and put together a yard swing! It's starting to look really nice in the backyard! After dinner we took the kids to Cabela's to watch the fish feeding! It's really something. First they give the fish pellets, then worms, and finally goldfish! It's incredible to watch. Then we went to the upstairs shooting gallery and spent some time (and money) practicing our "shooting" Predictably, Alan beat the pants off all of us. We made a quick stop in the Cabela's "general store" for some yummy fudge, and it was off to home.

Of course, by that time Jacob was not doing well, so the evening was kind of a bummer. Poor guy. I have to wake him up every 4 hours for more Motrin, so I predict not much sleep for any of us. He's snuggled down in my bed right now, and he looks so cute. Luckily, he's a still sleeper, so at least I won't end up with sore kidneys!

How was everyone else's day?
I hope Jacob is feeling better this morning.:grouphug:

Good morning! TGIF!

I hope everyone's day is better than yesterday.
