We were up at 6:00, so at 7:30 we left for an indoor flea market, went to Kmart and then visited my aunt that had back sugary. Guess we are in for the day now.

We are under severe flood warning now....

I went early this morning to get the dance recital tickets. It was pouring & there were many people already lined up. There were 6 cars in the lot but somehow I ended up being #15! . Anyway, I got my number & sat in the car. I got 10th row (bummer) but at least its over.

We are staying in due to the weather...on days like this I am glad I do not have a basement..we are too close to the water.

they probably were instruments of torture.....most "children's" poetry from that time was actually dark. One was about the buobonic plague and actually I think Mary, Mary was a "be good or" poem.

Silver bells recently have been fudged to be a hanging flower.

Bernadette i am sorry about your mom. my grandfather had an ostomy(?) bag and he hated it. he made my grandmother and nurses take care of it. pixie dust and prayers for your family.

well the agency scheduler called me last night at 8:15 and said she had someone coming for me for the night and today. well my scheduled time at night is 8-10:30. the lady didn't get to my house until 9. she did come this morning and she is suppose to come at 8 tonight so we will see. i will call the agency tomorrow and see if i can have her as the every other weekend person if she wants to since she will have been trained. ugh!

Karen - I know you get irritated with your mom, but it is a good thing you aren't all by yourself depending on these attendants! Hopefully this one will be more punctual in the future! Did she stay late, or will she get paid for the hour she wasn't even there?

DH finally took our 2nd Christmas tree to the storage unit today. That made LOTS of room in DS's closet, so I was able to move that huge trunk that we won in there. We wil throw out all of the computer boxes tomorrow, so that will clear out the dining room. Little by little we are clearing the clutter! I have a big shopping bag full of DS's outgrown shoes that I need to donate to somewhere. I still haven't taken the vacuum in for service. I REALLY need to find time to do that.

no she didnt stay late and they wont pay her when she isnt here. i think if i moved out i would actually have more luck because since im at home they no my parents are here and will help out. they have even asked me to get my brother to sign up to help me and im like hell no thats not his job and my parents arent gonna sign up either because then they really wont look for someone. its funny cause when i call and ask if they have found someone they always say if you know of anyone. i say if i did i wouldnt need ya'll to find someone.

It was beautiful

We went to supper at a yummy place....I haven't eaten that much in the last 2 weeks combined....2 hrs of companionable silence and then a slow walk.

When we woke up, we had an interesting breakfast...Jimmy forgot to tell them I can't eat coconut and he doesn't like asparagus.....there was still enough to fill us up.

We went and visited the castle you can see in the second room's picture....again beautiful!! and slowly walked through the town of Manitou Springs.

I didn't have a inch of stress stomach until we headed out of Colorado Springs....we just really need to hear about our house and loan.

I looked when I was up in Syracuse. They had no graduation antenna toppers. In fact, they had very few at all, and they were all old ones.

I went back to the mall today and remembered to check. None. They didn't even have one single princess dress! I was going to buy Alyssa a new one and give it to her on her birthday before heading off to the boutique. Now I have to rethink that plan.

Hunter's reaction reminds me of a funny little thing Miles said last August. We had stayed the first week at my parents' two bedroom time share. We arrived at POR. Miles walked in and kept looking around. I asked him what we was looking for, and he said, "I think they forgot the living room and kitchen." He'd been in hotel rooms before, but I guess he didn't realize that we were going fromt the condo to a single hotel room.

That's why when we're at Disney we will start small then work up to the 2 bedroom. Of course we will end at POR

Hey, I wanted one of the tree houses. That is perfect for Chuck & I. We could get a pontoon boat and ride down to downtown disney. That is one of Chuck's favorite parts of the whole vacation. The 4 of us have always dreamed about staying in one of the treehouses and were bummed since they are no longer rented out. I guess that would make it that much better - neighbors with Chris & Deb!

Good morning everyone! I just read the last few pages, but can't seem to remember any of it. And here I thought that I wasn't very tired today. I think it's the cold messing with my head. I knew it was coming, but was bummed to wake up with a sore throat and congestion today.

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday! I've got to take Dad to church and pick my BIL up from the half marathon downtown. He was going to run the full, but switched yesterday to the half as he's been fighting a cold or allergies for over a week. Other than that, I don't think that we have much planned.

I have that cold too. It started on Friday and is now in my chest and I feel like crap. Today better be the worst as I'm working the next 5 straight.


We got home around 2 today. The boys bowled well today, above average all games. Nick and Hunter both bowled a 104 which is really good for them. They all had an enjoyable time so it was a nice way to start off their vacation. We are having another storm today. It has been raining/sleeting/snowing all day. Thankfully it hasn't accumulated yet
