So a somewhat funny but not surprising update already!!

My grandma took it upon herself to call a brokerage firm this morning on my behalf...he called me here...I decided to play along. We'll see if we can qualify for any home loans.

I also have a friend who has been renting from the same person forever...she's getting his # for me as there are 2 of his places for rent right now....ideal location for Cassidy....a little less ideal for me and Abi but we can make it work.

I'm sending along more that you can find something that will work for all of you. I just know you'll all feel so much better when you have your own place! Wish I lived closer so I could help out!

So I've never been more relieved to hear...you need to move out ....in my life. I totally agree!!

The part that turned my stomach was the hatred that was in Grandma's eyes when she looked at Abi this morning....pure venom.


So I am spending a good portion of tomorrow setting up appointments to see apts. Saturday...hopefully we will be able to move before the end of the month!!

Was there another incident this morning? I feel like I missed something. that you find something soon.

Yup...I was trying not to give another blow by blow...it's just easier to say she was a witch and made sure she was awake when I came upstairs (which she never is) and said nothing to Abi just shot venom at her and said it's time for you to move out....the sooner the better. Told her we already had that planned!! More venom out of her mouth and we left to come to school and work.

Lindsay - Do you get a day off Friday or Monday? Don't be too jealous - my bosses still owed me 2 vacation days for LAST year because they were only gone for 3 working days out of the entire 12 months.

I made a batch of brownies, and I have cupcakes in the oven. I bet I will end up making a second batch of brownies because DH will decide he wants brownies to keep. And he will ONLY eat brownies with nuts in them, which the ones I made for tomorrow do not have. The last time I made brownies for us with no nuts we threw out over half the pan because DH wouldn't eat them and DS won't eat chocolate.

DH went to pick up DS from school. I am still in my pajamas.

The agency just called to tell me about a job, but it is kind of far and it starts in May. I turned down the interview. I just hope I don't end up kicking myself in mid-August for turning it down!

I just received my last few pins from eBay. (Yes, really. I have been very good about not buying anything else since I started to question the authenticity of some of our pins.) One of them is missing a piece! It is listed in the auction as NEW, and in the photo there is NOT a big chunk of the scenery missing. We will have to see what the seller has to say about this. The pins were wrapped very carefully, and the missing piece is not in the wrapping. If it was I would just glue it back on! He has another one up for auction, so the proper thing to do would be to send me the other one. Or if he happens to have the piece that fell off he is welcome to just send me that! I only paid $1.25 for the pin, so I don't want to pay a ton of shipping costs sending the thing back and forth. I would not have bid on a damaged item, and this is NOT the condition of the pin in the picture, so hopefully we can get it sorted out without it costing a fortune.
