Well, all the mowing and trimming is done. I even learned how to replace the string on the weed-wacker. I had to dig out the manual to figure it out, but I got it done. Now I need to tackle the garage. Last night Alyssa told me she would help, but now she has decided that she wants to paint (watercolors) instead. Actually, this may be more help than she realizes. She won't be in my way!

We took Daniel's communion pictures yesterday...He's getting so big.

Today looks like the last nice day for awhile! They are calling for heavy storms tonight and snow showers tomorrow!

Hmmm... I wonder who will come down with a sickness next?

We better all bulk up on our vitamins!

I am supposed to take Leighanna to an Easter egg hunt on Sat. The predicted high for that day is 38 degs. I hope that she won't have to wear her snow boots too!

Easter is not looking so "spring-like" either!

You should all come to my house for Easter!!! We are supposed to be having temperatures in the mid to upper 60's on Saturday, and low 70's on Sunday! We'll be having Easter dinner at 4:30 Sunday afternoon, with dessert and a movie that evening. Please feel free to drop in!

I'd check out John Wayne airport. It's so small that it's a lot easier to get around in than LAX.

Are you going to try to squeeze in a trip to DL?

ETA: Whoops! Guess I should have looked closer at your ticker, huh? Yay, for coming to Disneyland!!!!!

SNA (Orange County/John Wayne) is one of my favorites to fly into when I have to go to CA. But Long Beach is only 15 miles from the University where we will be holding this year's Music Camp and Concert. So, either of those will work well for me.

Our family is going in June, but if I can sweet talk Alan into upgrading my park hopper to an AP, then I'll move heaven and earth to get there! Katie's turning 10 on July 9, so maybe I can do a mother/daughter trip. Hmmm, now, there's a thought!

That would be wonderful, wouldn't it?!?! I turn "more than 10" on July 10th so we could do a belated celebration at DL later in the month, maybe!

Hope everyone is having a great night....I'm not.

Grandma went at it again.....about Abi and her sneezing...there is no talking to her. But I had an epiphany at the table....while I was trying to talk sensible to Grandma and she was so disrepectful to ALL of us...my Grandpa just sat there...didn't tell her to be more respectful (I would expect that from Jim...even if he agreed with me, if I was as disrespectful as she was I would want him to call me on it). That wasn't my epiphany...it was that he's done that as long as I can remember...

I realized that I lost all respect for BOTH of my grandparents tonight...and I doubt it will ever come back.

We got credit cards a couple of weeks ago....and I almost impulsively want to max them out and just leave..the thing is finding a place with the space we need.

Sorry I just needed to get that off my chest.....I am still upset almost 2 hours later.
