Hope everyone is having a great night....I'm not.

Grandma went at it again.....about Abi and her sneezing...there is no talking to her. But I had an epiphany at the table....while I was trying to talk sensible to Grandma and she was so disrepectful to ALL of us...my Grandpa just sat there...didn't tell her to be more respectful (I would expect that from Jim...even if he agreed with me, if I was as disrespectful as she was I would want him to call me on it). That wasn't my epiphany...it was that he's done that as long as I can remember...

I realized that I lost all respect for BOTH of my grandparents tonight...and I doubt it will ever come back.

We got credit cards a couple of weeks ago....and I almost impulsively want to max them out and just leave..the thing is finding a place with the space we need.

Sorry I just needed to get that off my chest.....I am still upset almost 2 hours later.

  I am so sorry. Just know that your family is in my prayers constantly that you will find a way out of there sooner rather than later. Extra  for Abi!!

:grouphug: :grouphug: I'm sorry you are going through this, Theresa.

okay the baseball game is over and since no seems to be around to chat with I am headed to bed.

Night all

I am back from Rehoboth and have off from work till Saturday.:cool1: :woohoo: It was only about 47 degrees when I left there at about 2pm today, let's just say it did not get to the 70 degrees like they thought it would. Although I came home and it was almost 70 at 6:30pm here.

I gotta unpack, do laundry, schoolwork, work on rebates and reimbursements, Girl Scout meeting, clean, and so on and so forth.:scared1:

Karen- :grouphug:  I need your up to date address. Or does anyone have Karen's up to date address?? Can you please PM it to me. I would like her to receive her St. Patty's Day card even if it is belated. It was returned to me, while I was away.

Jen- Feel better soon.

Tammi- Hope the allergies don't get too bad. How is Alyssa?

Jo- Glad to hear you didn't think my suggestions were off the wall. I figured you had to live kinda near the airport since you live in Sanford. I will just hop onto 46 to go down to the Port Canaveral area. It is a scenic drive but no tolls and took less time to get there than they said it would on 528.

Anne Marie- Great photos

Heidi- Hopefully there will be no snow. Love the new outfit for the BAB.:thumbsup2

Theresa-:grouphug: sorry that the Grandparents are so disrespectful. :grouphug: for Abi, :wizard: that you can get her allergies under control.

Glynis- Welcome home.

Janet- I love the design, I have felt like that very much lately.

I hope I didn't miss anyone. Sending prayers, :wizard: and :grouphug: to all of you.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother Glynis :grouphug:

Well, I did it!!! I'm all caught up!!!

Thanks for all the welcome home messages!!! It sure feels good to be back! I had a great time with my mom (minus a few plumbing problems, good thing my brother is a plumber!). She's doing really well, but we are a bit concerned about my grandma. She has several small strokes a week, and there's really nothing they can do except wait for the big one that will eventually take her. She gets very confused and doesn't know most people anymore. She didn't know me or my kids the first day we were there. The next day, she knew me, but didn't know how old I was. She was mad that I was driving, and she knew I wasn't old enough!!! She got angry at my grandpa for not putting money in her purse (he's been dead for 17 years). Oh well. that's just the way it is, right now!

Tammi if you have allergies.
Beware the pollen counts are very high here.
I see your ticker is like 24 days.
Not alot of fun with puffy watery eyes & stuffy head on vacation.
Thanks for the heads up, Jo. I'm hoping the trees that I'm allergic to are indigenous to Virginia only and not Florida!

Kristine I hope you don't mind............

Ladies I think we need this for our Oct. trip :rotfl:

How appropriate!

Goodnight everyone. I'll chat with you tomorrow.

Well, I think it's beddie-bye time for me. It was a long day with speed mowing, a trip to the mall, a visit to the Easter Bunny and severa errands in between. Oh almost forgot to make Phil's lunch for tomorrow. I'd better do that before I forget again. Nite all!

Welcome back Becky!

The design was made by Kristine, I just thought it was cute

I had seen the pictures before, just not as those particular designs.

Good night everyone.

It sounds like you are correct, you need to move very soon. It is no longer a good environment for your family to be in. If I were in your shoes I would take a second job to make the extra money that you need to get out. Of course I'm already working 2 part time jobs :rotfl:

Karen. I'm sorry that you're having mother issues. I also had issues with my mother, but we get along great noew that we live apart. If I had a great idea for a work at home job I would have done it years ago. :wizard: :wizard: Good luck planning your future.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother Glynis :grouphug:

Thanks. At this point, we are all just praying for her to go quickly. She's 93, and really ready to be with grandpa again.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes for my Mother.

Work was good tonight. It was a slow start, but once the openers left and there was just 2 of us working the money got better :thumbsup2

Tomorrow my cousin is coming over to cut all of our hair. I would love a new cut, but really don't know what to do. If any of you have a great hair idea for me please post an example picture and I'll see what she can do.

Deb

I came home to a house that looked like a tornado had blown through! It toom the better part of yesterday to reclaim my kitchen and family room! I'm still working on the bathroom and my bedroom! Hopefully, by tomorrow things will be better.

I promised Jennifer that I would post my recipe for garlic butter green beans, so here it is:

1 pound fresh green beans
1 garlic clove, minced
1 Tbs. butter
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper

Place beans in a steamer basket; place in a large saucepan over 1 inch of water. Bring to a boil; cover and steam for 7-9 minutes or until crisp-tender. Meanwhile, in a small nonstick saucepan, cook garlic in butter until tender. Remove from the heat; stir in the lemon juice, sugar and pepper. Transfer the beans to a serving bowl; add garlic butter and stir to coat.

I finally decided on a dessert for Easter. Last year I made the Strawberry Margarita Cake that Shana posted, and it was a big hit. Unfortunately, all the kids were more interested in their Easter candy, so the cake hung around a bit long! So, this year, instead of the cake, I'm making brownies with chopped up Malted Milk Easter egg candy in them. I'll decorate them with more eggs and maybe some tinted coconut. I can cut them to good portion sizes, and it won't hang around for days and days! What do y'all think?

I love that idea!!! I may have to steal it....either that or I will make the smores brownies I made a month ago that were such a hit!!

(I know I said I was going to bed.......I forgot Jim had to go to bed too. :rotfl2: )

We're looking into the second job avenue....only problem is I already work 40 hours plus all the commitments I have to see through...and Jim can't seem to work more than one job, the second would more than likely not be a set schedule and he can't function without a schedule. I am watching for one though!! Life can stink sometimes you know??

I hope they'll be good. I think the candy will add a colorful touch!

Good luck with getting to bed, soon! Alan has been snoring a ton lately, so I'm heading to bed soon, to beat the noise.

I think Jim waits until I am in bed to start snoring....but the time when he's getting ready to fall asleep is my aggravation.....he flips and flops, huffs and puffs and makes the WHOLE bed shake in doing so.

Well, I'm outta here! Gotta tackle the bedroom tomorrow. Maybe I'll get lucky and find the floor.:lmao:

Good morning. The night went entirely too fast.
