Stephanie -- have a fun day today!

Deb -- congrats to the boys on their bowling awards!

Anne Marie and Delinda -- congrats on the great progress at Weight Watchers! You go, girls!

Karen -- no advice, but here's a :grouphug: . I hope you find the right job for you.

Kristine -- Loved the vaca pictures! The kids are darling, and I loved the pictures of you and Bill.

Theresa -- sending you a :grouphug: , too.

Elizabeth -- I hope you enjoy your days off and get lots done.

It was just announced yesterday that Dallas is the second worst place to live for allergy/asthma sufferers. Maybe that's why I've gone through two different rounds of allergy shots, yet still have to take several different kinds of allergy meds and get frequent sinus infections....

Both kids had baseball games last night, with games at the same time. I watched Jake's game. His team is a young one in the league (coach pitch) and hasn't gotten to practice much because of the bad weather of late, but did okay. He played good defense at 3rd base and pitcher, struck out once, and hit a line drive to right field for a home run.

Andrew's rec team is a total disaster! They are the new team in the league, made up of mostly new players, and have only practiced three times. Randy said it was like watching keystone cops -- a comedy of errors. He said Andrew did pretty well in the field (played second base), only got to bat once (since they didn't bat all the way around the order I don't think anyone got on base) but pitched an inning and only faced three batters before the inning was over. I'm hoping that he can get in more practice with the select team he is on so his skill level doesn't drop. It's going to be a very LLLLOOOOONNNNNGGG season.

I hope everyone has a great day! :)

Good Morning Friends.

Oh my what a cutey.
Thank you!

Hope everyone is having a great night....I'm not.

Grandma went at it again.....
Sorry I just needed to get that off my chest.....I am still upset almost 2 hours later.
I can relate. They won't change. You can only change how you react to them. It must be hard. 's

Kristine I hope you don't mind............

I am still making changes to my ADR's for August.:rolleyes1 I added Breakfast at Donalds for our AK day. I am rethinking Chefs de France. Is that too "fancy":snooty: for my kids? Also have CRT booked the night of P&PP but its 2 TS & it doesn't get great reviews..my kids have been there but the idea of eating at the castle just before the party sounds fun.

It is freaking cold outside! I had to go out to get our trashcans, the wind is howling & we have snow flurries

Please come back Spring!

Goodmorning all. It stormed here last night and has gotten a lot cooler. The good thing is maybe the pollen want be as bad.

Hope everyone has a great hump day today. :goodvibes :goodvibes :)

Hi all..Things have been crazy the past couple of days. Monday I had my glucose test which did a number on my stomach. Then we had a flat tire on the van and Eric spent 4hrs trying to get it fixed. On top of that Passover started Monday night so he planned on cooking most of the day but that all got pushed back. And I still had daycare kids here and had to get the house straightened for the Seder that night. I ended up passed out at 8:30pm, thank goodness my FIL did a condensed version, Molly cannot sit through a 2-3hr meal, or I would have fallen asleep in the middle of it. But of course I was wide awake come 12:30am and stayed that way until about 5am and then my alarm went off at 5:30am.

Yesterday, Molly had her GI consult for her reflux and she will be having an endoscopy done in the next 2 weeks. The GI specialist wasn't convinced that she has reflux but more of an allergic reaction to food that is irritating her GI tract. She said because she is gaining weight that's her guess. I am not convinced though. I hope this gives us some answers so we can move forward. And in the meantime I am to not give Molly any of her meds so I am sure by Friday it will be quite interesting around here as the meds wear off.

So I haven't had a chance to catch up so I'm sending :grouphug: and :wizard:

We're looking into the second job avenue....only problem is I already work 40 hours plus all the commitments I have to see through...and Jim can't seem to work more than one job, the second would more than likely not be a set schedule and he can't function without a schedule. I am watching for one though!! Life can stink sometimes you know??

We all do what we have to do to get by. For me it is important to make ends meet and have my Disney fix:rotfl2: We were talking last night at work about how we will all work as much as necessary to make sure that our kids have everything they need and can do the activities that are important to them. One of the other waitresses said that one winter her daughter (who is now fully grown with a daughter of her own) wanted to take horseback riding lessons. She signed her up, but couldn't afford a pair of winter boots for herself. So once a week she took her daughter to the paddock and stood in sneakers in the snow for an hour watching her daughter ride. And she would do it again in a heartbeat.

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

The birds are chirping away this morning. Don't they know it is going to be much cooler and yucky the rest of this week? Well, compared to some of you it will not be so bad. Highs in the low 50s and partly sunny after today and tomorrow. ;)

So you wouldn't want the 6 - 8 inches of snow that is coming here tonight?

Oh no, that is awful. She will be refluxing and you will have pregnancy nausea to boot. I hope Eric is around a lot to help you.

You should all come to my house for Easter!!! We are supposed to be having temperatures in the mid to upper 60's on Saturday, and low 70's on Sunday! We'll be having Easter dinner at 4:30 Sunday afternoon, with dessert and a movie that evening. Please feel free to drop in!

I'll go load up the car now!:goodvibes

Thanks for the invite.:thumbsup2 Your weather and Easter plans sound much funner than ours at the moment. I am sure that Leighanna would love to play with your kids for the day!

While I was out yesterday I picked up 3 thick 3 ring binders with zipper closures. I saw directions on the pin thread to make these books to house the kids "keeper" pins. So yesterday I was putting these together and gave one to Nick and one to Hunter. Nick was sitting on the floor putting his pins on a page (craft foam) and he tells me that he doesn't have enough pins to fill even one page and I gave him 4. I told him that he can add pins each trip and we can add pages when he runs out. He looks at me and says "yeah, I will always to go Disney with you, even when I move out and have a family of my own, I wouldn't miss a Disney vacation with you  My next question was who would be paying for him and his family to go do Disney with me :rotfl2: Just as innocent as can be he says "I will once I find a good job". I can't even tell you how happy I was to know that he is already looking forward to sharing Disney with his own family and with Chris and I. I guess we are raising that one right.

I love that Deb. It's obvious that your boys feel how much you & Chris love them & want to be with them.

Robyn I hope life slows down some for you!

Nick sounds like a sweetie :cloud9:

Hopefully both my boys will share their love of Disney with their children.

Hi Robyn I hope you feel better fast.
Miss Molly :wizard: for the test and that your tummy does not hurt to bad while off the meds.

does anyone have a set recipe for deviled eggs. I make mine by taste and look so I dont have a set recipe. A friend was asking me how I make mine. I use miracle whip, mustard and pickle juice but I dont have set amounts.

Good morning all!!

I am doing a bit better than last night but I tossed and turned....so I guess we'll see.

Deb-your right we will do anything for our kids....Abi is so like me as a kid, worried about asking for things because she thinks we can't afford it (we couldn't when I was a kid). My goal on Monday (I have the day off nobody else does) is to find a job and/or a new place to live.

Robyn- I am so sorry that your week has been icky. That glucose test always put me out afterward too!!

I don't have set amounts either. I have never tried pickle juice. I use salad dressing, mustard, & a little bit of sugar.
