What a mess! It is unbelievable that they didn't have a back up plane for that WHOLE FLIGHT of people. I'm glad that you made it at last and are already enjoying yourself.

I just wanted to say that I heard the baby's heartbeat today. We also got to see the baby man was the baby moving you could see either the legs or arms moving.

II now have 2 agency interviews on Monday. One at 10 AM and one at 6:30 PM, so Brother better not wipe his nose on me on Monday afternoon. Hopefully I will get plenty of sleep this weekend so I don't end up getting really sick. The little ones have school in the morning, Taekwondo tomorrow afternoon, then we'll probably go to dinner with DS & DH.

for the interviews! These are the ones to get you set up with the agencies and ready to meet families, right? More that you stay healthy.

Have fun prom dress shopping, Vicki! We took the girls out to get dresses for the 8th grade social, and there were lots of older girls shopping for prom dresses. They were so beautiful, but I am not ready for that!

Update on little Aidan:

Well we just got a phone call that Aidan is once again experiencing Resperatory Distress and has had to be re-intubated. They said his numbers were dropping once again and that his blood sugars had gone bad due to the stress. This is quite hard on his mother as she had looked forward to being able to hold her baby today. He has become more stable now that they have put him back on the vent.

We received a book yesterday from a group called MEND and it talks about this roller coaster that we are on. It states that this is more like a frail boat on the seas in which we have been placed versus a roller coaster which people choose to ride and this by no means was chosen by us.

This boat however is tossed and turned by each wave, some larger then others, but we need to remember that the Lord is with us and even in our darkest fear's he will come to us and calm the seas.

I pray now that the Lord grant these Doctor's and Nurses the skills they need to decipher these issues, grant piece to my wife and family, remove my fears and provide answer's to those that pray so deeply for us.

That is beautiful! I really like the color and Laura looks great.

Thank you! She fell in love with the dress in black, but I thought it looked just a little too grown-up or something. Then the woman found it in red which she didn't like (nor did I). Finally, she found one last green one. It was way more than I was planning to pay, but her face just lit up.

YEAH! Spaceship Earth is finally coming back to life:

A re-imagined Spaceship Earth presented by Siemens will
combine the magic of the iconic attraction's time-travel adventure
into the past with a new finale which provides guests the opportunity
to imagine their futures. Enhancements to the time-travel attraction
will encompass changes to each of the ride scenes. New show scenes
will be added to the attraction's story along with new lighting
effects, costumes, set decoration, narration and musical score. This
adventure through time leads ultimately to the very top of Spaceship
Earth's geodesic dome, where guests arrive at the present. The time
travel adventure will be enhanced through new, interactive touch
screens installed aboard each "time machine" that will enable guests
to create their own visions of the future and see themselves in that
future. As guests disembark the time travel experience, they are
invited to visit "Project Tomorrow: Inventing the World of Tomorrow,"
where interactive exhibits bring to life the ideas and technologies
Siemens is developing to help make the world a better place for the
future. The space is filled with fun, interactive games and displays

renovations occurring through the year, Spaceship Earth's makeover is

When trying to find the news on screamscape.com I also found this:

(4/3/07) The unthinkable has happened it seems because in the latest rehab to Epcot’s Electric Umbrella eatery (in Future World) they installed a pair of self service beverage stations allowing theme park guests, for the first time in a Disney World park, to refill their drinks as often as they want just as you do in about every fast food restaurant these days outside a theme park. What does this mean for the future of Walt Disney World? I’m going to make a guess that this is “the big experiment” to see how it will impact not only the rest of the park, but also the profit margin of the Electric Umbrella itself.
It’s no secret that it costs any given theme park only a few pennies for every soda they sell, so they are a huge profit maker. However, Disney can also save a bundle by not having to staff as many people to fill those very same drinks by allowing the guests to do it themselves in exchange for allowing free refills that really don’t cost much extra. This is definitely the place to keep your eyes on over the following weeks.
