Thanks, Marci!

Yes, it's true - the only Longhorn items were at our rehearsal dinner. Believe it or not, Jonathan was still a died-in-the-wool Gator fan - I hadn't completely converted him to a Longhorn as of yet!

Ironically enough, the Gators were playing the night of our wedding in the Orange Bowl against Syracuse. I allowed Jonathan to put on a small Gators pin on his tuxedo once we got to the reception. :goodvibes There was also a TV in the bar at the hotel, so he was able to sneak out and get score updates. The Gators won 31-10.

You'll have to let me know what bakery you use! The strawberries sound so yummy!

ETA: Oh, and we were married in Friendswood (suburb of Houston) in the Methodist church I grew up in.

It's Le Gateau over off of McKinney and Monticello -- beside Javier's. They have lots of cute cakes with Longhorn themes and the tuxedo strawberries with Longhorns on them. Love that place, but they are pricey.

nooo snow!!!
I know you guys are tired of it..plus, my family from colorado is supposed to be coming here this week!

6 inches and blechy roads!!! was what we got....there shouldn't be any trouble getting out of DIA this week.

Not too, too much, Tupperware wasn't much because I had old items which needed to be replaced, so 2 bowls are being replaced for nothing and got credit for two more which they didn't have anymore and bought two other bowls to replace them.

Ordered small and large pie plates as they are on sale and a lid for my Mom's 9 x 13 pan, as she didn't know what size she neeed at the last party she was at. Total of about $62 for 4 Tupperware bowls and 3 Longaberger items.
That's not bad, considering Longaberger is not cheap!

Oh Terry! Are you out there somewhere? I just was checking on getting some new clothes for Nicky. The Teddy Clothes site has added some new outfits. There are some really cool ones for 10-15" bears which will fit Mickey.

Ok ladies and Gents I'm about to bore you with a bunch of wedding photos.
Since Channon was asking about dresses and flowers I picked out a bunch of misc stuff.

The first is decorating the reception hall. We used rose and aqua colored balloons and crepe paper. The table were decorated with rose napkins and each place setting had either a rose or aqua tulle covered champagne glass with almonds. There were 2 vases on each table containing heart shaped chocolate lollipops (that is what I'm arranging in the photo)

Here is our cake. It was a wedding gift from my parents neighbors. Actually my great aunt baked all the cakes and the neighbor did the decorating. We also had napkins and match books printed with hearts, our names and wedding date

Lindsay - I took my dress to Shmalzreid (or something like that) to have it preserved. I saw them at a bridal show. I think Dee & Hattie's does dresses as well.

Dee & Hattie's is the dry cleaner's my mom's cousin owned at the time (he sold it a couple of years ago). That's who preserved my dress.

Very pretty Deb! And so young!!!

Here is the wedding party. The bridesmaid dresses were all handmade (not by me) as were the flower girl dresses. Each bridesmaid carried a stem of Lillies with greenery. My bouquet had Lillies, white carns and a few other things. The flower girls had baskets with similiar flowers.

This is my favorite picture. We were leaving the church heading to the reception

One thing that we did was have groups of people join us for pictures. Examples were high school friends, college friends, Chris's family, Mom's family, Dad's family, my coworker, etc.

This is my family that I refer to when we have birthday parties etc. The faces have changed with some now gone and many new, but it is the same general group
