Best thing I ate at Disneyland

The first half of the Gray Stuff dessert from Red Rose Tavern! We split one a few visits ago and I absolutely loved it. The next visit I got an entire one for myself but found that I can't handle that much sugar at once. So now we always go halvsies.

Food is very hit and miss at Disneyland, at least for me. I think one of my favorites were the fried biscuits they had a Carthay Circle (circa 2016). I also really enjoyed my corndog from Corn Dog Castle in California Adventure in December. I had been getting the hot links so it had been awhile since I had the classic corn dog. I also really liked the Tomato Soup from Jolly Holiday.

It was in DCA last year for halloween time, but I don't think it's coming back this year - it's not only the best thing I had at the DL Resort, but in general one of the best desserts I've had in my life - the Taro Bread Pudding

The white macaron in my WOC DessertParty box...man, it was tasty! Perfect crispness, great filling, not overly sweet. Have no idea what it's called or where else to find one ...wish I did! It would be my new vice.

And of course, my beloved Mickey beignets!

And a shout out to the bacon at Minnie's breakfast and natch, Plaza Inn fried chicken (as good as granny's).

I think I need to try churro toffee based on these comments. I love the standard chocolate and crushed nut coated toffee you can buy by the bagful, but I've sadly never tried churro toffee. It sounds amazing!

Vietnamese beef lettuce wraps at the Carthay Circle Lounge. So flavorful and even though it is beef, the lettuce makes it seem fairly light.

Stuff that isn't there anymore: fried biscuits from Carthay Circle and the cinnamon roll french toast from the River Belle Terrace back before it switched to a table service only restauarant.

That sounds amazing! Love taro and love bread pudding, what more could you ask for?

Which leads me to the best thing I've ever had, the chocolate bread pudding at Jazz Kitchen in DTD. At the park, my favorite is the Rontoless Wrap in Star Wars Land. And I'm not even vegetarian.

Also, I'm clearly going to have to try the churro toffee!

Is this the most recent box? If so yes that macaron was incredible, it tasted like fruity pebbles. My daughter still talks about it from Memorial Day weekend. I loved the crumbly cheese from that box, the onion cheese.

My favorite thing from DCA was the white lager beer cheese soup from the Nuts About Cheese booth they always used to have at Food and Wine Fest. From DL I'm not sure if I have a favorite, maybe the baked potato soup from Carnation Cafe, I do seem to get it a lot.

Dessert-wise is a classic churro.

OMG, that was the BEST!!! Warm, gooey, with a pitcher of white and dark chocolate and a scoop of vanilla ice cream! I'd almost forgotten about it. I'm still so angry at the changes they made to JK that I've refused to go back and I doubt they still have the same dessert.
