Lindsay - you are Jonathan are such a beautiful couple, your dress was beautiful, your wedding party beautiful, the decorations in the church..you guessed it...beautiful. I don't know what else to say. It's quite obvious how the styles have changed from the previous decade.

Its the Lutheran Church in Hicksville on a small side street. Trinity Lutheran. Paul's family has been members there forever. Its one of the places we miss most - that and the ocean!

Well you just have to come to Jones Beach this summer!

My parents took Molly for the night last night so I have to finish cleaning up around here before she returns. Emma and I need to do some organizing in the playroom. It's almost done, I just need to figure out how I'm getting the characters on the wall. Have a great day everyone!

Well, I thought I would share some of my wedding pics. I apologize for the dark border around the photos, but as they were stuck into my wedding album pretty tightly, I figured it was best not to mess with them!

These are some of my favorite pictures, because you can see my dress bustled. The two things I definitely wouldn't change about my wedding if I were to do it over - the groom or my dress!

Jen - Well, enjoy the game! Maybe you should eat some tasty chips while you watch. Your local Chip Man would appreciate your business.

It will be interesting to see what DH has to say when he gets home. Toad was covering his route the past 3 days. One good thing is that the supervisor is making her show him her orders before she submits them so she can't purposely under-order like she is so fond of doing. Hopefully that will help keep DH's commissions where they belong.

Good Morning DDA,

Marti - it's good to see you again. For Matt, can the bear be stitched back together? I had a bear that I loved when I was a teenager, my mom decided to wash him as he was looking kind of rough, and he didn't survive the ordeal, needless to say I sympathize with the situation.

Lindsay - your pictures are simply gorgeous, you remind me of Princess Grace in them.

We kept our DGS last night so that his mom could go out and celebrate with her sister, poor little guy was just fine and then he told us his stomach hurt. He's been throwing up ever since.

The ice cream cake, although not a complete disaster, is, shall we say, less than perfect. I learned two things, one, the ice cream doesn't shrink like the cake does so I had to trim it down some, and freezing the cake first would definitely be a good idea, I thought it was cool enough but the ice cream started to melt and the frosting would just slide off. I've managed to salvage it, but it is not level and has a lot of frosting.
Oh well, live and learn

Beautiful pictures Lindsay! Where were you married? And I saw nary a Longhorn....

Which reminds me -- the bakery where I got my wedding cakes is where I still go for a lot of the birthday and special occasion cakes I need as well as for work. Anyway, the last time I was in she was finishing up Lightenin' McQueen so I was looking at their books. The latest Longhorn thing they've done is to put little longhorns on chocolate covered strawberries...I must admit that I thought immediately of you and Jonathan!

I have decided to make a jello for my birthday.


Jello Cake

1 box yellow or white cake mix
1 small box of any flavor jello
1 small box of instant vanilla pudding
1 small container of cool whip, thawed

Mix cake according to box directions, and bake.
While cake is baking, mix jello according to directions and set aside. (do not refrigerate)
When cake is done let cool, then poke holes all over cake. Pour jello over top of cake and let cool completely.
In a large bowl mix pudding according to directions, then fold in cool whip. Spread pudding/cool whip on top of cake and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Everyone is awake here. They say to definitely get PS2 because it has better graphics and a much wider variety of games. There are thousands of games for PS2 and PS1 games work too. It was a unanimous vote from my 3 (I mean 4) boys
